About: I've had a variety of different pets throughout my life, and also spent over 100 hours volunteering with local animal shelters. Plenty of experience and a deep passion and love for animals! Currently on the job search, so availability is extremely flexible! Only a few standing obligations on Saturday evenings (8:00 PM) and Sunday afternoons between 2-6 PM. My own pets have their schedules and quirks, and I'm more than happy to accommodate your pet's schedule/quirks to help provide the most comfortable environment for your babies!

“Adelle was responsive, punctual, and attentive to detail with pet instructions. She sent pictures and let me know exactly what was going on with my puppy. She even left a thank you card with a complete run down of her day with my puppy. Very professional and would definitely use again!”

About: I have always had multiple dogs in my home. My family has a love for rescuing dogs so we have taken in and fostered numerous dogs in the past. I cared for many dogs while in Tuscaloosa for college. I have since moved to Birmingham and become a NICU nurse! No matter what your baby needs, I’m here!! I am a full time nurse so my schedule varies! I typically work 3 days a week, so depending on the week I will be available different days! I love to be active and love to run around with energetic dogs as well as give love to the cuddly dogs! I base my approach based on the dogs needs, every baby is different!

About: Hi, I’m Charmaine! 🐾 I’ve loved and cared for dogs for over 25 years. Whether you have a tiny pup or a gentle giant, I'm happy to care for dogs of all sizes! Because I work full-time from home, my flexible remote schedule allows me to easily do drop-ins and walks early morning, midday, or evenings. I’m often told I have a natural gift for animal care; even the most timid or nervous pets tend to quickly open up and gravitate toward me. I can't wait to give your furry family member the reliable, loving attention they deserve! I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows for early morning, midday, or evening weekday drop-ins, plus even more availability for your pups on the weekends! I guarantee your peace of mind by strictly following your home security and pet care instructions, keeping you updated during my visits, and happily offering meet-and-greets to ensure your complete comfort.
“Tatiana is amazing! Zeus is in love. He recognizes her car and runs to the door to greet her, excited for his walk. She tires him out enough for him to settle down so I can work without having a bored puppy underfoot. Will request her again.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have two dogs, Chance and Otto, and I know how much our pets mean to us. When your pet is in my care, they will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I previously worked as a sea lion and dolphin trainer at Gulf World Marine Park, where I gained hands on experience with animal care, behavior, and training. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work weekdays until 4:30 PM and am available for evening visits, overnight stays, and weekend pet care. I would love the opportunity to meet you and care for your pets! I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting on weekdays and weekends. I walk them daily and make sure they get plenty of exercise! I also have lots of dog toys:) I make sure their is plenty of water and food for them at all times

About: I’ve had cats and dogs by entire life. Big, small, energetic, or chill, I’ve taken care of and seen all kinds but I especially love larger breeds! Im working full time but wanting to do something a little extra and get to enjoy some time with pups and cats too! I’m available on weekends and Fridays afternoons and nights! I’m happy to take your dog or cat on walks, have a play date, and complete basic needs like taking out for potty breaks and crate when needed!
About: I’ve spent the last 3-4 years working remote and with my own dogs. I started dog sitting for for friends for a few hours, overnight, and for longer periods of time. There’s even the option of letting them play with my Aussies if the owner would like that. I work from home full time. Depending on location, I may be able to do morning or afternoon walks. Evenings and weekends have the most availability for me at the moment. I would prefer to care for the pet in the clients home. My Aussie can be reactive with some dogs and I would want to give your dog the full attention where they are most comfortable.

About: I believe every dog deserves more than just a sitter, they deserve a friend. I take time to build trust, understand their unique personality, and provide patient, attentive care so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is in good hands. My schedule is flexible. I am available for daily walking, check-ins, playtime, anything needed to help your pets feel safe and comfortable! I can pet sit on the weekends and certain days of the week. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable in your home caring for your furry family members. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet’s normal routine, provide updates, and make sure they receive the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kiddo! Dogs and cats. I had my maltipoo, Georgie, for 18 years. I had my cowboy corgi, Squeaks, for 4 years and just recently lost him due to cancer. He is missed very much. My work schedule is very flexible. I work from home and usually within an hour of Birmingham. Rarely travel out of town. I make my own schedule. My latest pup, Squeaks, had cancer. He was on a holistic journey from July to Thanksgiving. He was on all natural supplements and I also cooked his food fresh every week. Ground turkey, sweet potatoes and veggies. Unfortunately, his Tumor had progressed and I had to make the best decision for him a few weeks ago.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
