My specialty is dogs, but I happily welcome my feline friends too! :) When your pet is with me, they’re not just being watched. I want to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and joyful during every visit—so much so that they remember me when I return! My goal is to make sure your pet has a great day, because they give us so much in return: security, joy, companionship, and unconditional love. I want them to feel that same care and connection while they’re with me. 🐾 I don’t have a full time or part time job, I don’t own any pets of my own, no kids. My only exceptions would be my personal daily task that come with general life. I do not board more than one dog at a time just to keep things safe. I also live in an apartment complex with two other roommates who are my best friends. With this set up, I can ensure both your fur baby and my roommates are comfortable.

My first job was at a vet clinic at age 15 working in the boarding house with the dogs and cats. I’ve dog sat for family & close friends for 20+ years. I’ve raised a dog from puppyhood and adopted and cared for a senior dog, so I’m comfortable with every stage of life. Over the years, I’ve been a repeat dog and cat sitter and walker for countless friends and family—including house sitting for over a month. I am also a Doctor (resident physician) at Baptist Health, so responsibility, attention to detail, and caring for others are a big part of my everyday life. I specifically offer Rover during lighter months when I’m home most of the day; when I do go into work, I’m typically only away for 2–3 hours at a time. I’m comfortable with medications and detailed care instructions, attentive to when something seems off, and calm in unexpected situations. If you’re hiring me to host your doggo, I live in a condo right by Railroad Park and just a block from Rotary Trail, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time throughout the day. My mom also lives only five minutes away and has a large, beautiful fenced-in yard that we can visit for some extra space to play and explore. At home, my calm senior pug Zeus is around for company but is very content to do his own thing. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and prioritize keeping their normal routine. I will also send plenty of photos and updates so you always know how they’re doing!
About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was #1 dog sitter for about 5-6 neighbors through high school and college. I’ve taken care of many other dogs and cats as well. As a current medical student, I wish I could have my own dog but the time and finances won’t allow until I graduate. So for now, I can help take care of your pets and you can help me get my snuggle fix in! As a medical student, my schedule is often changing. I do have most evenings and weekends free for studying and I could always use a study partner or walk break! School is priority - but I will do my best to work with your schedule as well as my class schedule! I do currently live in an apartment, so boarding pets in my home is not a great option. About: I have 2 labs that have been a member of our family for 15 years. I also volunteer at the shelby co. humane society and the birmngham zoo. I understand why most people do not board with a vet and I feel the same way. My animals always have less stress and handle the seperation from human members alot easier. your furry family members are very important an I could not agree more. About: I had 3 cocker spaniels as a kid, separately, loved them, they loved me. Did everything together. Would love more time with dogs. Cats, too I work 5 evenings a week from 5pm-10, (shorter that overnight sleep), off Monday and Thursday. It has worked out great for both sides. Just a mile from home. There’s community property where pets do their business, we’re required to pick up poop. All dogs are leashed to avoid issues. Leashing required in Hoover.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
