I had taken quite the hiatus from Rover while finishing up school and landing my first professional job, but would love to pick this back up again. I graduated from UAB and work in digital marketing. I work from home so I get to spend plenty of time with my dog mix Libby. We live in Bluff Park, so are surrounded by great walking trails. About: I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours. I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay. If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)

About: Not only have I been dog sitting for the last 15 years, but I also have a lot of other experience with pet care! I have worked in a pet store as well as in veterinary offices when I used to live back in Indiana so I have learned a lot about caring for animals. I attended veterinary nursing school too before I moved, but I didn’t get to finish before moving down here and am currently looking to re start schooling here in Alabama. While I there I gained even more knowledge on animal health and care. I was the kennel manager for the shelter pets that we had at the school, where I was in charge of administering oral and IV/IM pet medication. I have experience working with elderly pets with medical issues as my own fur baby who passed in 2025 suffered from CHF and she required a lot of extra care towards the end. I love all types of animals and have experience caring for not only just dogs and cats. Over the years I have owned reptiles, turtles, and currently own 2 rabbits as well as 2 cats and 1 dog! If you book with me I will treat your pet as though they were my own so you can rest easy knowing they are loved and taken care of! I only work part time, so I have a very flexible schedule. I will have plenty of time to spend time with your pet! I am not typically away from home for very long, so I will be able to regularly come to check on your pet. I have a large fenced in yard and a dog door that my two dogs go in and out of freely. I will walk or run with your dog daily. There is usually always someone in my house at home at all times, who all love to interact with dogs. I have one other dogs. She is typically nice with other dogs but can be very skittish, so they would need to be introduced prior to being watched. The safety and comfort of all of the dogs including my own are my priority, so it needs to be a good fit. My dog does love to play a lot so they usually enjoy having another furry friend to play with. My 2 cats and 2 rabbits also live in the home, but the layout of the house allows them to stay in the upstairs portion of the house and it is blocked off to allow them to be separated. They all get along, but I feel more comfortable to allow them to have their own spaces.

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life as a child growing up we always had dogs and as an adult I have always had cats. I have experience with giving sub q fluids to animals with kidney problems and I am a volunteer with Bama Bully Rescue and a foster for Colony Cats of Metro Birmingham. About: I had 3 cocker spaniels as a kid, separately, loved them, they loved me. Did everything together. Would love more time with dogs. Cats, too I work 5 evenings a week from 5pm-10, (shorter that overnight sleep), off Monday and Thursday. It has worked out great for both sides. Just a mile from home. There’s community property where pets do their business, we’re required to pick up poop. All dogs are leashed to avoid issues. Leashing required in Hoover.
