In my client’s home I always aim to make not only the pets but the owners feel comfortable and safe while I am taking care of their furry friends! When learning about the pet I am caring for, I strive to learn their normal behaviors, daily routines, and activities that make them feel loved so that I can make them as comfortable as possible while their owners are away. I also make sure to take good care of their homes during my stay. I am diligent about fostering a low-stress environment, keeping things clean and tidy, as well as safely locked up!

A typical day
While I come to care for pets I love to stick to their normal schedules that they are used to but also love to add a fun twist into their day to keep them mentally and physically stimulated and most of all happy! Depending on the pet, this could include playing indoors or outdoors, going on a walk, being brushed, or even sending a quick photo or video update to my pet parents or family!

I have been caring for pets since middle school and gained hands-on experience working as a stable hand while growing up. Since moving to the Birmingham area for college, I have provided reliable house-sitting and pet care services, looking after dogs and cats for extended periods. Now that I am back in my hometown on the Eastern Shore, I am continuing to care for my family's pets and would be ecstatic to care for your pets as well!
