About: I have always loved every type of animal, especially dogs! Growing up, I have always had a dog that I was the main caretaker for. I have had 12 years of dog sitting and cat sitting both at my own house and at others. When on summer break, my schedule is even more flexible. No matter if I am on break or currently in classes I have gotten very good at making my schedule fit all of my needs, and all of yours! I have had many experiences caring for a pet in my own home and at others homes. While at my own I make sure to follow any specific instructions given by the owners. I have a very large backyard that is fully fenced in where your dog can play and run with a shaded deck as well. About: I have had experience with dogs of every kind since I was born. I have cared for dogs of all ages between eight weeks and eighteen years old. My family had no less than four dogs and two cats when I was growing up. I got to care for large golden labs and for elderly yorkies and I love them all! I've only ever had family members check in on my best cat buddy, Vinny, and I was apprehensive hiring a sitter for my 4 day vacation. I have to say Saskia was amazing and was able to get my shy cat to warm up to her within just a day or two. Saskia sent me plenty of pictures and her report card on her visits were thorough and put my mind at ease. She was on time at every single visit (and for our pre-interview), and she was very responsive and communicative, which I love. Vinny, my 10 year old domestic short hair became comfortable with Sas and allowed her to brush him and give scratches. He doesn't warm up to just anyone, so that says a lot.
