About: What sets me apart is my extensive hands-on experience caring for animals in both veterinary and everyday settings. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Animal Science Pre-Vet and have worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel technician, caring for up to 40 dogs and cats at a time. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and personalities and have experience administering medications, monitoring health and behavior, and recognizing when something may not be quite right. My love for animals goes far beyond work. I’ve volunteered walking and fostering dogs through the humane society and have run my own pet-care business caring for dogs, cats, and horses. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of both their space and their normal routine. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely and make sure pets receive plenty of attention while also respecting their boundaries. With my veterinary and animal-care experience, safety is always a priority, and I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or overall well-being.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kiddo! Dogs and cats. I had my maltipoo, Georgie, for 18 years. I had my cowboy corgi, Squeaks, for 4 years and just recently lost him due to cancer. He is missed very much. My work schedule is very flexible. I work from home and usually within an hour of Birmingham. Rarely travel out of town. I make my own schedule. My latest pup, Squeaks, had cancer. He was on a holistic journey from July to Thanksgiving. He was on all natural supplements and I also cooked his food fresh every week. Ground turkey, sweet potatoes and veggies. Unfortunately, his Tumor had progressed and I had to make the best decision for him a few weeks ago.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family since high school and have 7 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, giving me a strong foundation in animal care and behavior. I’m very comfortable following care instructions, administering routines, and recognizing when something may be off. I will be happy to share pictures/videos, too! I am available weekdays and weekends majority of the time. I work from home so I can be with your pet at all times! Any potty schedules would work. I have a house with a fenced in backyard. The house is all one level so it is easy to get in/out for senior dogs. I have 2 cats of my own that stay inside. One is pretty laid back and gets along with dogs. The other one likes to be by himself. I can keep my other cat separated if needed so it wouldn't be a problem.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I would beg my neighbors to let me bathe, brush, walk, or even just play with their dogs. When I was about 16, I decided I wanted to do dog grooming. Since then, my career path has shifted into being a hairstylist, but a goal I have is to get into dog grooming in the future. I will do my very best to give your pets the best experience with me as possible! I’m currently working part time in a hair salon. but on my days off I would love to spend my free time showing your pets love and keep them safe while you’re away💞 While your pets are in my care, they will be separated from any other pets unless friendly with others. If you have any medication or other medical needs for your pet, I am able to take care of those needs!

About: I have had many feline family members growing up, currently 3 cats, and 3 dogs during my childhood! I am also a Shelby Humane volunteer. I am comfortable with cats and dogs! I am available evenings and weekends for pet care. I have a lot of experience as a volunteer at an animal shelter and believe this would be a great fit to make extra money. I have 3 cats in my home. About: I’ve always had cats, and usually they were strays that we took in. As a teenager, I would pet sit for my neighbors frequently when they were out of town- cats and dogs! I had two dogs growing up. Now as an adult, I have 2 cats of my own, Sinclair (5yo male) and Petal (1yo female)! For most of June and July I will be free week days and weekends! I fit it in mostly on weekends now that I have a dog of my own but I could potentially do it full time in the near future. I want to state that I do not stay overnight with your dog but will give them the needed attention and care multiple times a day and be right back to do the same the following day. I have a fenced in yard for my dog and a doggy door for her to let herself in and out during the day. I don’t leave her longer than 5 hours. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and would do some pet sitting during college. Growing up dogs have been part of the family and I will treat your pets with the same respect, care, and love. Im a behavioral therapist for kids during the week, but my weekends are open for your fur babies! I’m also available for pet drop ins after 5pm during the week!
