About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kiddo! Dogs and cats. I had my maltipoo, Georgie, for 18 years. I had my cowboy corgi, Squeaks, for 4 years and just recently lost him due to cancer. He is missed very much. My work schedule is very flexible. I work from home and usually within an hour of Birmingham. Rarely travel out of town. I make my own schedule. My latest pup, Squeaks, had cancer. He was on a holistic journey from July to Thanksgiving. He was on all natural supplements and I also cooked his food fresh every week. Ground turkey, sweet potatoes and veggies. Unfortunately, his Tumor had progressed and I had to make the best decision for him a few weeks ago.

These responsibilities come first while I am caring for a pet. I may step out for an hour or two at a time to run errands or grab food, but my personal hobbies and activities are planned around those responsibilities, not the other way around. I care for pets in their own home by following the routines and instructions their owners provide as closely as possible. I make sure feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and household rules remain consistent so pets can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I pay extremely close attention to doors, gates, leashes, food restrictions, and anything else that could affect their safety. I also keep the home secure and tidy, clean up after the pets, and communicate with the owner if I notice anything unusual in their behavior, appetite, routine, or environment. I am also happy to handle routine household tasks such as watering plants, retrieving mail, and keeping an eye on the property while you are away. My goal is to make the experience as normal and low-stress as possible for both the pets and their owners.

About: I always tell my clients that I will treat their animals like my own. I want your pets experience to feel comforting, enjoyable, and reliable. I have pet sit for 8 years now. I fit it in mostly on weekends now that I have a dog of my own but I could potentially do it full time in the near future. I want to state that I do not stay overnight with your dog but will give them the needed attention and care multiple times a day and be right back to do the same the following day. I have a fenced in yard for my dog and a doggy door for her to let herself in and out during the day. I don’t leave her longer than 5 hours. I believe pets thrive off of human interaction and we are their best friend and all they know. Trust in me to give your pet a good time while you’re away. I will work off of you and your pets needs.

“Brittany was GREAT! This is our first time using Rover and I have been skeptical, but I have no regrets now after using Brittany for a full weekend with our three dogs. We have a large breed dog and two dogs with special requirements and she had no issues bonding with them and walking them on their leashes.
