“Angela was great with my dog and kept me updated while I was gone!”

“I really don’t know where to begin but Royalty was the best dog sitter we have ever had. He handled alot of difficulties that came with a very timid, recently rescued puppy without a single complaint or a negative attitude. He will be the person my wife and I call first from now on when we travel. Can’t boat on him enough!”

“Hannah is so awesome! She took care of Cooper like her own. We felt at ease knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely be booking Hannah again.”

“Devon was great!!! She was nice and friendly and Scout and Baloo loved her!! I’m so happy to have found such a sweet person who loves animals to love on our pets.”

“Courtney did a great job house sitting and doing drop-in visits for our cat and dog. We were much less anxious going away knowing Courtney was taking care of our girls.”

“Very much appreciate Jill's loving care for our Sophie, willingness to adapt when air travel delayed our return, attention to details, and leaving our home clean and neat. Thank you.”

“Absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our dog was smitten with her from the start. She gave us frequent updates and took wonderful care of details better than we do ourselves (ha!). There’s nothing better than having peace of mind that while we are on vacation, our boy was having adventures of his own and feeling loved back home. I couldn’t recommend her more.”

About: As an adult, I have adopted only cats, but I do love and enjoy dogs as well. NOTE: To save time etc, please read ALL my details carefully BEFORE sending a booking request. Thank you in advance 👍 in bearing with any repetition, but it spares extra effort for both you and me. 🥰 When I was very little, we had a mixed breed dog named Spot (original, no?), and later on, a lovely and sweet golden retriever, Bonnie. We also took in a stray black cat and named him Samson. As an adult, I have been pet parent to seven cats and have adored them all, each of them with a different personality, some of the cutest and most loving cats ever. My BFF companions! All animals, wild and domesticated, are innocent and precious creatures and deserve our best. --------------------------------------- INFO FOR FIRST-TIME CLIENTS: Before going on further, I respectfully ask that any prospective new clients understand that, in everyone's best interests, including your precious furbabies, I am NOT able to confirm new client booking requests EXCEPT under specific conditions: (1) not with less than 48 hours' notice ahead of when you need me, and (2) not without a "meet and greet" visit FIRST, so that I can get to know you and your pet/pets, beforehand; understand your/their needs and my duties, and we can come to a mutual decision whether or not I would be a good fit for you and your pet/pets. A final caveat but emphatic: I regret but I do not offer services for clients' pets in my own home. Although this info is given elsewhere on my account , I still repeat it here because it can be easy to miss when navigating the app. ------------------------------------- WITH REPEAT CLIENTS: Thankfully, these basic initials are of course already met and therefore I can usually be more readily available, just depending on my/your particulars at any time a booking request is made. ------------------------------------- FOR ALL CLIENTS Please be aware as well that in instances where longer time commitments or special duties beyond what are described in my profile are needed, I might need to work with you-- of course PRIOR to my comfirmation of your booking request--about adjusting payrates through the Rover app. I try to be reasonable as humanly possible and accommodating. ----------------------------------- SO: I don't want to be offensive but for the best for everyone, esp those sweet animals, my experience thus far as a caregiver on Rover has taught me how vital it is to establish these basic essentials , up front. --------------------------------------- A BIT MORE BACKGROUND As an adult, for many years now, I have defaulted to adopting cats only, because of time away from home during the day and occasionally needing to be away from home entirely for a more extended period of time. However, as a caregiver, I can look after both dogs and cats and can usually make adjustments in my schedule to accommodate the needs of clients and their pets. --------------------------------------- TO CONCLUDE I have a special place in my heart for ALL pets, most of whom want little more beyond the basics (food, water, play, veterinary care)---than simply to give snd receive love, especially my precious Orangesicle, an orange tabby, aka "ginger" cat. I would love to serve you and make a difference in your life... while at the same time, making a big difference in own life, as I am somewhat isolated right now and would love to get out and enjoy a change of scenery in somebody else's domicile and their beloved pets. Please contact the references whose emails I indicated, as they can also testify how much I love animals and my cats and how much I love people as well. My schedule is typically flexible, depending on what might be my existing scheduie over the duration of a booking request. Pls read further: In any given instance, I might have options open to me to work with you accommodate your special needs. As I mentioned already, but to underscore: In some cases, such as where longer commitments or special duties are necessary, I may need to work with you about increased payrates. I take care of my cat every day and scoop out his litter box twice a day and feed him twice a day plus give him treats as he deserves them and really as he wants them , as long as it's not too much for his good health. I take a lot of time to hold him and love on him and play with him . He loves boxes and mice and feather toys on a rod. He is my pride and joy and my best bud and he follows me everywhere and greets me at the door ...and we sleep together, and he sleeps next to my pillow and sometimes on my pillow and puts his head next to my head and his body next to mine. We are intimate friends and I will take care of him and his needs and his health needs including surgeries, for as long as he can live , without undue suffering. My first cat was Simon. Later followed Garfunkel (not "Garfield"), Chopin, Edna, Van Gogh, and Picasso. I do not care for pets in my home but I'm happy to care for yours, in your home (even besides a dog or cat), with all the foregoing qualifiers in mind, from the very beginning , when I first respond to a booking request. Pls read further: SPECIAL NOTE: For the time being I am not available for walks that are longer than a couple of blocks. I prefer less heavy dogs. Fenced-in areas are a huge plus. Thank you so much and I look forward to any and all clients who are interested in my services.

“Jake was wonderful! He was very respectful of our house and definitely took great care of Baylor. She got lots of love and attention. I will be reaching out to him again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Kyleigh was amazing with our dog! She sent updates and pictures while we were away. We felt extremely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. She is so kind and asked all the important questions prior to our trip! Would love for her to sit again!”

“Meg sent lots of photos and kept us informed. Unfortunately, she had to deal with a maintenance issue in our home while we were out of the country and we appreciate her flexibility and patience during this time!”

“Kristen takes wonderful care of my dogs! She is a great communicator and also took great care of my home while I was away! So thankful for Kristen!”

“Sydney housesat and looked after our elderly cat when we had to go out of town for a weekend. She was very communicative and sent regular updates with photos. We would absolutely hire her again.”

About: I’ve raised two puppies, giving me experience in potty training, and general behavioral training. I have also had a special needs/medicated dog, allowing me to have experience in managing more specific care routines. I have experience in both dog and cat sitting! As a college student, I have a lot of free time on my hands. Even during exams, a furry friend and some time outdoors would be more than welcome! In my client’s home, I will follow my clients house rules (I.e. if they use crate training, make sure to return my client’s pet to their crate before I leave, etc).

About: I was raised in a family that always had 2-3 dogs so I am quite comfortable about these four legged friends! I look forward to getting to know you and your pets I currently work at a school, so I am available to pet sit overnight, on the weekends and make stop in visits before school and during the lunch hour (depending on distance)! My family always had dogs (and cats) growing up so I am quite familiar with and comfortable with walking pets, taking care of their hygiene, and cleaning up after them should any messes be made!

“Robin came prepared at our meet and greet and was great with our three dogs. We were gone with limited internet access and both felt that our pups were well cared for. She sent frequent photos that showed us that everyone was happy at home. Our house was cleaner than we left it upon returning. We will use her again!”

“Charlotte was great with my dog and cat when I had to leave town for a few days somewhat at the last minute. She was available to meet on a video call in advance and was receptive to my insane list of instructions! Would use her again!”
