“Stephanie did a wonderful job house-sitting and taking care of our elderly cat, Cinnamon, while we were away. She was quick to respond during the scheduling process, which made everything straightforward and stress-free. She cared for Cinnamon with attention and kindness, ensuring she was comfortable throughout. Stephanie also kept us updated with regular check-ins, which gave us peace of mind during our trip. We returned to a clean home and a content cat, which we greatly appreciated. Stephanie was reliable and accommodating, and we would happily work with her again in the future.”

“Hannah did a great job with our senior dogs. My wife and I were away for 5 nights and received great communications and cute photos. One of the nights was the Fourth of July so Hannah had to give extra TLC during inevitable fireworks. She left the house in great shape, too. We could barely tell anyone had even been here! Would hire again for sure!”
“I had to hire Peter at the last minute after my other sitter wasn't a good fit. All I can say is everything happens for a reason. Peter was so attentive and caring to my senior pup, it was night and day from my previous experiences. Peter checked in and followed all my care instructions and went above my expectations. I will definitely use his services again!”

“I will absolutely book with Kyleigh again. My hard to impress 11yo, 85lb pup loved her, made my heart happy I didn’t have to stress over him while away. Our picky cat snuggled right up to her as well.”

“Saraelizabeth was so amazing! She was able to help us out short notice, our dog Indy LOVED her! Super responsive and gave us great updates. She left our place incredibly clean and tidy, way more she needed to! Would definitely have her dog sit for us again.”

About: I walk my dog twice a day, take him to socialize with other dogs, and give plenty of open window car rides. I’ve trained him when he was young and I have also taken care of a wide range of animals of other ages from the animal clinic that I shadow at. I’m aware of animal social cues and am plentiful in patience with all furry friends! I am a full time student, so my schedules do vary from each semester. As of right now, Mondays and Wednesdays, I am free after 3 pm. On Fridays, I am free after 12 pm. With my dog at home, I always keep him in my sight not only for his sake but for my own comfort. I just love being around animals all the time. Whether I am doing school work or chores, I always keep them included.
“Devin took care of our pets while we were on vacation and was great! Our dog and cat seemed to be very well taken care of. Devin has been walking my dog for a few months now and has showed up on time every time. Would recommend her to anyone.”

“Christina is an amazing pet sitter! It was the first time for us leaving our very attached Pomeranian who is a total Velcro dog & our first time using Rover. Christina took the best care of both our dog & cat. Our cat is very picky about who he will come around & he warmed up to Christina quicker than anyone else ever. She has a huge heart for animals & it shows in how she also transformed my reactive to all new people Pomeranian into him seeing her as his new best friend. I was really concerned about leaving him & she calmed all of my fears in the first hours she was there. She sent me pictures & updates & took the best care of our spoiled fur babies. She will always be our go to first choice. She came and stayed with them for 5 days. She was a Godsend!”

About: I grew up with a cat of 14 years and later my family adopted a husky which stole our hearts! Since, I have cared for not only my sisters set of 2 beautiful golden retrievers since they were brought home but other dogs of clients and I currently live with a cat! I am currently a 4th year medical student at UAB. My clinical rotation schedule currently is extremely light for the month of February I after 12 PM. And through March April in the first half of May, I am pretty much fully free. Under my care, pets will be brought outside for a potty breaks or a walk only on a safe leash. No dogs will be brought anywhere near roads or construction where they could get injured.
“Courtney did a great job house sitting and doing drop-in visits for our cat and dog. We were much less anxious going away knowing Courtney was taking care of our girls.”

“Bailey was great!! Very responsive, mature, and kind. She kept us up to date and my two dogs loved her. I would absolutely reach out to her again if we need a pet sitter! Highly recommended!”

About: Aside from owning 4 dogs, 4 cats, and even one bunny, I’ve been a tried and true pet sitter among family friends! I also have experience in senior pet care, as well as caring for blind fur babies! I am a full time Pre-PTA student, so my schedule is very spread out. I’m currently finishing out my pre reqs, so my studying is not too intensive, so I still have time to help out with your pets!! I know it can stress pets out having someone strange in their home, so I try to be as gentle as possible around the home without making too much noise, as well as letting them have their space and needed.
“Katherine is a sweet, gentle soul who took great care of my dog, Charlie. I appreciated the daily check-ins and photos and that she enjoyed Charlie's goofyness. She took good care of the house, as well. I would not hesitate to ask Katherine to sit again.”

“Jennica did a great job house sitting for us. She took wonderful care of our dogs, sent updates with photos, and left everything clean and organized. We really appreciated her help and would gladly have her back!”

“Margaret has sat for our two puppies several times and every time we come home to happy pups. She is professional and communicative. Already have her booked for our next trip.”

Homewood pet parents share their Rover experiences
I would highly recommend Riley. I used his services as a house sitter to take care of my Pekingese, who is very shy. She warmed up to Riley almost instantly, which is a testament to him. He left my house in the same condition as to when I left it: very clean. I greatly appreciate him taking care of my pet and my house. I would describe Riley as very friendly, honest and reliable. He's obviously a pet lover. What more can you ask for in someone to help you with your pet's needs?

Meredith is truly the best! She is quick to respond, responsible, and sends us lots of pictures with wonderful updates. We always have a peace of mind when we know she is with our fur babies. We have left them multiple times in her hands and she always does a wonderful job! When we return from being away, the house is always in great condition. She cleans up and always makes sure that our fur babies have everything they need before she leaves as well. Meredith never leaves them unattended for a long period of time. We always know that they are being loved, fed, walked and taken care of when she is with them. If you are looking for a sitter or just someone to stop by and feed your pups, walk them or just spend time with them… Look no further! We just love Meredith!

I had an amazing experience with Meg, who stayed at our house and took wonderful care of our two dogs. She was reliable, communicative, and left the house spotless, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. I would absolutely recommend Meg to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.
