I’ve been caring for pets since I was a teenager, starting with the dogs & cats, and now have experience with birds and fish. For the past six years on Rover, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and quirks, so I provide individualized care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive, and I always keep pet parents updated with photos and messages for added peace of mind. My goal is to make every pet feel like family and every owner feel confident that their furry (or feathered!) loved one is in caring, capable hands. During my undergraduate years at Auburn University I worked with the Comparative Cognition group where we trained dogs to become service dogs. Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in an apartment that does not allow pets so I can not offer boarding care. I have extensive experience in providing house sitting care as well as medication treatment for pets.

Kayla was able to pet sit/house sit for us for an out of town trip we planned starting the day after Christmas Day. One of our pups is a senior with some hearing and vision loss so she takes a little extra TLC.
Kayla did an amazing job watching our pups!! She gave us great daily updates and sent photos while we were gone. We would definitely hire Kayla again!

Schedule
I work full time during the week but can check on pets before work, during my lunch break and my afternoon are available. Most of my evenings are available and as well as some weekends.
