“Stephanie did a great job with Bella! Bella was recently spayed and needed extra care. Stephanie was very responsive, she sent texts and videos to keep me updated. 10/10 recommend!”

“Devin took care of our pets while we were on vacation and was great! Our dog and cat seemed to be very well taken care of. Devin has been walking my dog for a few months now and has showed up on time every time. Would recommend her to anyone.”

“Kalyne was wonderful with my bernedoodle while I was gone! I can’t wait to have her house sit for me again, it makes leaving so much easier when you know your dog is in great hands.”

“Peter took care of our 5 yr old Husky Mix and 8 month old Labrador while we were out of town. This included house sitting. The pets got great care and play time and the house was well taken care of. Highly recommend! I hope he can pet sit for us in the future.”

“Margaret was amazing with our two bernadoddles. She was communicative and sent tons of pictures . She made sure to get walks in early during a summer heatwave and took amazing care of the pups. Additionally, she stayed at the house and everything was left in clean condition when we came back. We will be using Margaret again!”

“Kyra did a great job watching my babies. They love her! Every day she sent updates on things happening at home and pictures of them still living their best lives. lol. She made sure the yard was cleaned up after they had potty breaks and the house was basically like I left it which was without clutter or a mess. And I have two mastiffs who are naturally messy. We would definitely recommend her service.”

“Kyleigh did such a wonderful job watching the dogs! She left our house clean, even stripping the bed for easy washing. We came home and it was felt like we had just left! We’re so grateful for her taking care of our babies!”

“Anne was wonderful. She was able to accommodate a last-minute request to stay overnight with our dog. She showed up early to meet everyone and was great with our Doodle. Pictures at just the right time and a happy dog when we returned made for a great experience.”

“Cam was more than I could have asked for in a pet/house sitter! She truly went above and beyond; she not only was so great with my pets but she looked after my house further than I expected her to. She’s intelligent, compassionate, and personable. She send the best photos and in-depth updates. You can tell she truly cares about and respects your home and pets. I would highly recommend Cam and will continue to book her when she’s available.”
About: I have had dogs my whole life and grew up walking dogs in my neighborhood! I keep my friends dogs and they play with my dog! If you ask anyone they will tell you I am a huge lover of animals and treat my own dog as my child! I love to love on your fur babies and want them to not even wanna go back home they are so comfortable with me. I also know what it’s like to leave your dog so I want you to know that your fur baby is in the best hands! Like I said, I do have a dog so if you book with me your dog must get a long with other dogs🥰 I currently work 6-3 so can watch dogs in the afternoon /night. I usually take my dog to the park so if your dog needs the most exercise and likes to play with other dogs I can certainly take yours in the afternoon! I have a playful dog who I give all the attention to when I’m home! We love all dogs and get to play so much!
“Ashlyn took wonderful care of our golden while we were away for a long weekend, and was great about sending us updates about how she was doing. We will definitely call Ashlyn again next time we need a sitter for our dog!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was #1 dog sitter for about 5-6 neighbors through high school and college. I’ve taken care of many other dogs and cats as well. As a current medical student, I wish I could have my own dog but the time and finances won’t allow until I graduate. So for now, I can help take care of your pets and you can help me get my snuggle fix in! As a medical student, my schedule is often changing. I do have most evenings and weekends free for studying and I could always use a study partner or walk break! School is priority - but I will do my best to work with your schedule as well as my class schedule! I do currently live in an apartment, so boarding pets in my home is not a great option. I’ve stayed at very many homes to care for pets. Your pets health and safety will be my main concern - and I will always respect your home as well!
“Mackenzie is sweet and patient. She won over our very timid pair of pups. Great communication and care. Did not have a bit of worry leaving our girls with her.”

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.
“Bailey did a great job of taking care of our Senior dog over a a long holiday weekend. We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for some one to care for a special needs pet.”
Cahaba Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Anne was wonderful. She was able to accommodate a last-minute request to stay overnight with our dog. She showed up early to meet everyone and was great with our Doodle. Pictures at just the right time and a happy dog when we returned made for a great experience.

Honestly if I could give Mariana 10 ⭐️ I would. She is absolutely amazing!! She loves our girl Jo and spoils her with all the love and kindness she has. She keeps us updated on her day and sends pics. It’s also so wonderful that she stays at our home over night/days so our girl can stay in her own place. I highly recommend her to stay with your furbabies she’s the best!!

April is reliable, dependable, friendly, and excellent with timely communication. She sent pics of our dogs over the course of her stay. She stayed with our 2 dogs (1 a senior dog) for 3 nights. She left our home tidy. We’ve already said we’d love for her to watch our dogs during our future travels. This was our second time using Rover. I highly recommend Rover & especially April for your pet care needs!

Laura did an exceptional job of handling a very tragic situation. Our beloved dog, Lulu had an emergency situation and had to be rushed to the vet. Lulu was unresponsive and Laura was unable lift her. She quickly ran to the nearest neighbor and got help to put Lulu into her car to transport her to the vet. Her communication with us before during, and after this traumatic event was exceptional. We highly recommend her services to anyone needing a pet sitter.

Mollie was a GREAT caretaker for our 140 lb. Scout and 14-year-old Sierra. She has a great calm presence and we felt very confident leaving our two dogs with her for 7 days. Our big dog never made her nervous and Sierra came out of her shell with Mollie. Why didn't we ever do this before. Mollie took good care of them and all their little quirks, as well as gave them medicine for their old age issues. I'm sure she gave them lots of TLC, too, if the pictures she sent us were any evidence. Thanks, Mollie, for all you did for them, as well as for us, to take good care of them!

I would book Kamryn to watch Diggs a thousand times over! She took extra time and care to make sure he was comfortable with her (he’s scan be pretty anxious with new people). She updated me several times a day about potties and feedings and took her time to hang out and play with him. I felt so comfortable leaving Diggs in her care!! I cannot thank her enough for the extra steps and reassurance she provided me that he was in the best care while I way away!!
