“Brittney was so excellent for Belle and made her weekend a wonderful one! She sent many photos during Belle’s stay which soothed my nerves while I was on vacation and was able to give me a wonderfully concise report card upon pickup. I’ll no doubt be using Brittney again in the future!”

“Wonderful experience! He took great care of our 3 dogs and attended to all of their needs as well as administering medication to our senior golden retriever. We will use Harold again in the future!”

“Tatiana was absolutely wonderful with our Charlie! It was our first time leaving him with a sitter while we went out of town for a week and we were extremely nervous not knowing how things would go. Tatiana kept us updated every day with messages as well as pictures and videos. We will be repeat clients!”

“Amy was wonderful with our two dogs! She very clearly spoiled them. I can tell by the pictures that they had a great time. Especially out in the back yard! She was also very accommodating with our schedule which was very much appreciated!”

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“Another wonderful stay with Jessica! She treats my puppy like her own. We are so grateful for her updates throughout our trip and the detailed report she provides when we return home. She’s the best and has a lovely home full of love and toys.”

“Corlaeja really came through for me and Billy. It was a very last minute booking, and she was not only able to do it, she did it exceptionally well. My boy—who is a brat—looked happy and healthy in every photograph she sent (and she sent regular photographs). And, of course, he came back to me the same way I left him. I will definitely look to rebook with her the next time there is an opportunity. Thanks again!”

“My dog loves spending the weekend here with Collins and the other dogs. She’s always worn out worn out when I get her back and I’m never worried about her when we’re away. That’s important.”

“Our golden retriever absolutely loved his visit with Jonathan and his family. He could not have been a more perfect host and it was really nice to have a previous golden retriever owner as a Rover host.”

“Merelee was extremely accommodating on a last minute booking. Walter had no trouble getting acclimated and making a new friend. We will definitely reach out to her for a re-booking when in the area!”

“Our pup loves spending the day at Barrie’s! Her tail wags when we hop out of the car and she sees where we are. Barrie often has other dogs but stays attentive to them and ensures everyone is getting along. She keeps us updated with pictures. Would suggest her for overnight boarding to anyone with a pup.”

“Ashley was awesome with our two Boxer girls! Mags and Su had a blast playing in the big fenced back yard & with her pup and senior Boxer. I honestly think Su is going to have separation anxiety from Freya, she loved playing with her so much!! Ashley sent daily updates with photos/videos. We would highly recommend, especially if you have a Boxer, trusting Ashley with your fur babes!”

“Our pup, Willa, had a wonderful stay with Jordyn and her pups. Willa had a great time playing with the dogs and running around the backyard. We really enjoyed the updates and pictures that Jordyn sent. Communication with her was excellent from the first meet and greet to pick up time. Willa clearly loved Jordyn.”

“Kaitlyn is one of the best sitters on Rover! She is so kind and accommodating. She let me know what was going on with my dog, and I had no concerns about Chloe’s safety. She even sent us home with a little gift. I highly recommend using Kaitlyn for all pet sitting needs 🖤”

“Great sitters! They communicated with me really well and took great care of Louie. He’s typically kind of shy but he absolutely loved staying with them- didn’t want to leave!”

“Kordell was gracious and patient. Smokey and I have never been away from each other. I had the separation anxiety. Smokey was just fine. Kordell gained his trust and the rest is history. Kordell sent pictures which reassured me Smokey aa was fine.. He was happy and energetic when I picked him up. I was almost jealous. Kordell”

“Devin was great, she communicated very well what she did, and was on time as she said she would be. Everything was done professionally and with a good attitude toward taking care of Mojo the cat. I am glad I found Devin to take care of my cat when I am gone!”

“So glad Sarah was available for my last minute holiday request! She spent time hanging out with my cats and making them comfortable, giving me full updates with lots of pictures! I’m very grateful!”

“Piper has been cat sitting for me for a few years now and she always does a great job. She is extremely reliable, follows instructions, and is pleasant to interact with. And my very social cat is always relaxed and happy upon my return. I'd highly recommend Piper!”

“We had a great visit from Jamie! Conscientious communicator! Great personality! Easy going. Helped us out tremendously during Thanksgiving! I am definitely eager to book her again!”

“I highly recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a top-notch pet sitter. She recently watched my cat, Lea, and did a great job. She was patient with my cat’s “ways” (sorry she’s not the most sociable!), but Caroline was on top with the visit cards and pictures, and very reliable. It's such a relief to find a sitter you can trust. Thank you so much, Caroline, for taking such wonderful care of my baby Lea!”

“Truett loves Catherine! She was very responsive, timely, and loved on him during drop ins ! She came in when we lost our reoccurring sitter unexpectedly and she was flexible and quick to step in. So grateful for her! 10/10!”

“Ruby did a great job caring for our cat while we were out of town. She is professional and kind, and treated him with the utmost sweetness and care. This was my first time going on a trip since having a cat and I was very nervous about how he would fare while we were gone. Thanks to Ruby, I had peace of mind after each check-in in which she sent lots of pictures and gave me a detailed description of how he was doing. She did everything just the way I asked her to, and went above and beyond as well. This was the best possible cat sitting experience I could have hoped for!”

“Monica and Mitchell were incredibly accommodating in our stressful time to find a sitter on short notice. They were great with communicating, sending photos, and keeping us up to date. I’m very happy with the service from them!”

“We are very grateful to Kordell for taking long (2 weeks) care of our Kotik (cat). At the end, Kotik felt himself with Kordell as in his own house. Great job! Thank you.”

About: My boyfriend, Jake, and I would love to welcome your pet into our home! We’re both huge animal lovers and love having pets around to spoil with attention, cuddles, and playtime. My boyfriend works from home, and I work from home some days of the week, so someone is typically home with the pets throughout the day. This gives us lots of flexibility for potty breaks, playtime, attention, and keeping up with your pet’s normal routine. We have a fenced in back yard and will be able to accommodate if your pet needs/wants to go outside often! My grandfather was a vet his whole life and I grew up going to his clinic on the weekends to help all types of pets recover from surgery. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and absolutely love them. After recently putting down my dog of 14 years, I thought boarding and walking dogs would be a wonderful way to spend time with sweet doggies again! I also love any and all pets, and have even kept guinea pigs before! On days I’m in the office, my boyfriend Jake is home and able to care for them, and when we’re both home, your pet gets double the attention! We’re also available throughout the evenings and weekends and genuinely enjoy making the pets we board part of our everyday routine. For boarding, I make my home a comfortable and safe space where pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles, while keeping them on their usual routine. For walks, I make sure each pet gets the right amount of exercise, fresh air, and fun, while staying safe and cared for the whole time.
About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was #1 dog sitter for about 5-6 neighbors through high school and college. I’ve taken care of many other dogs and cats as well. As a current medical student, I wish I could have my own dog but the time and finances won’t allow until I graduate. So for now, I can help take care of your pets and you can help me get my snuggle fix in! As a medical student, my schedule is often changing. I do have most evenings and weekends free for studying and I could always use a study partner or walk break! School is priority - but I will do my best to work with your schedule as well as my class schedule! I do currently live in an apartment, so boarding pets in my home is not a great option. I’ve stayed at very many homes to care for pets. Your pets health and safety will be my main concern - and I will always respect your home as well!

“I've only ever had family members check in on my best cat buddy, Vinny, and I was apprehensive hiring a sitter for my 4 day vacation. I have to say Saskia was amazing and was able to get my shy cat to warm up to her within just a day or two. Saskia sent me plenty of pictures and her report card on her visits were thorough and put my mind at ease. She was on time at every single visit (and for our pre-interview), and she was very responsive and communicative, which I love. Vinny, my 10 year old domestic short hair became comfortable with Sas and allowed her to brush him and give scratches. He doesn't warm up to just anyone, so that says a lot. I will 100% book with Saskia going forward, and I'll recommend her to anyone who asks. 😻😊”

About: Dogs are my specialty, but I’m happy to care for my feline friends too! 🐱🐾 While I have much more experience with dogs, I understand that cats have their own unique personalities, boundaries, and routines. I take a gentle, patient approach and let each cat set the pace. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I pay attention to the little things—their moods, body language, routines, and what makes them feel at ease—because I believe every pet deserves to be understood as an individual.

“Amy has been watching Greta, my very active GSP puppy, these past couple of weeks and so far it has been great. She has a dog and a toddler that gets plenty of interaction with our puppy and Greta is always happy to go back to see her new friends. I am very appreciative of Amy’s willingness to work with our busy schedules that fluctuate for drop off and pick up.”
“Wren had a great tume with Jennifer. I had to make thos booking last mi ute because of an urgent work thing. I was glad she was able to accomodate. This was Wren's second time and he was immediately comfortable seeing her. She is gentle with him, followed all our instructions. We'd be happy to have him do day care again”

About: Hey there, my name is Holly and I love working with dogs. I have spent the last 10 plus years working with dogs at a local doggie day care facility. While working there I obtained a lot of knowledge and eventually earned a position as a supervisor and managed new hires on how to work dog day care yards. During my time I gained a lot of valuable insight on dog behavior while working in the dog day care yard. I also have owned as many as three dogs at one time. I have hosted several of my friend's dogs for overnight stays along with my own dogs and I would just love the opportunity to give them the best care and love a dog could desire. I have a passion for fur babies and treat them as if they are my own. I have a special relationship with my veterinarian and I have experience in giving dog medication if necessary. I am conveniently located to my personal veterinarian and other veterinarians as well as a emergency vet in the event your fur baby suddenly becomes ill. Having owned numerous dogs over my lifetime I am keenly aware of what it takes to attend to senior dogs. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for a comfortable walk on a leash and potty breaks. I am currently retired and available to baby sit your fur baby anytime including weekdays/nights, weekends, and holidays. I am flexible and willing to accommodate your fur baby's needs along side my own fur baby, Pinkie. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for a comfortable walk on a leash and potty breaks along with my fur baby, Pinkie for company and companionship. I am all about creature comforts and whatever your baby is used to for the best experience. Your baby is more than welcome to lay on the couch, sleep in my bed or can be crated if that is what they enjoy the most. I also offer Dog TV for viewing pleasure. You can expect lot's of cuddle time, potty breaks, walks, treats and toys to play with but most of all LOVE. I also have a habit of sending video's and pictures of your baby while you are away.

Your dog will have fun and be well cared for while you are out of town! We will send you pictures and updates during your time away. And I can easily crate your dog if needed, (but will only if you do this at home).
“What a blessing! While traveling from Michigan to Alabama for a conference, I didn't want my furbaby couped up in the hotel all day. Finding Lawden was a blessing. Mr. Brown met new friends and had a ball. Thank you Lawden!”

About: I’m a devoted animal lover who treats every animal like my own! Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or cuddles, I make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Known for my reliability, patience, and big heart for furry friends, I bring positive energy and genuine care to every walk, visit or stay. I have 8 years of experience caring for pets of my friends and families…I’m open to all types of care weather it’s just a walk, need me to let them out, keep them at my place or I stay at yours! I work at UAB Hospital 3 days a week, even on days I work I can let them out before after and on my hour break! I will make any accommodations necessary for you and your animals! I live right by railroad park, so that area would be perfect for any animal to be walked in! I like by myself with no pets in my apartment.
“Doug did a great job taking care of our dog, Paisley! We were visiting family and needed a sitter in a pinch (during a holiday weekend no less) and Doug was super quick to respond and help us out. He provided nice updates with photos, and it was clear Paisley had a great time and was well taken care of. He even took the extra effort to replace her ball when she lost it the bushes while playing outside. Would definitely use Doug again.”

“Laura is great! I will definitely book again. She was able to keep my fur baby on short notice with no hesitation. Her home was clean and welcoming with fenced in back yard perfect for pets. My pup is usually very shy, but immediately warmed up to Laura and her husband. Laura kept me up to date on how he was doing throughout the stay and sent pictures as well. She's a great sitter!”

“Kendall was amazing, kind, and so accommodating! I am so thankful we chose her home for Baskin’s daycare needs. I would highly suggest others to use Kendall and we definitely will be using her again!”

About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. I have a large beautiful fenced yard, have multiple crates for use and live within walking distance of a dog park. I have kids that will make sure your dog gets lots of love while being boarded.
“Vanilla, our dog, and I had a excellent experience with Angelika. She was very tentative to Vanilla right away, communicated with me throughout the day, sent me pictures, and I know that Vanilla, our senior dog, was in awesome hands. 👌”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, my mom and grandmother started the humane society in my hometown so we have always taken care of animals. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I love all animals but especially dogs! I currently work from home so I am available to watch your dog during the day or overnight boarding. I can do drop ins or walks after 4pm. My wife is a RN so she is home 4 days a week to help watch and play with your dog also! Someone will always be available to supervise your pet and can update you with pictures through their stay! I have a fenced in yard and a dog door so they have access to come in and out as they please. I also have a big energetic German shepherd lab mix that will play with your dog all day! We have daily frisbee tosses and fetch in the backyard.

About: I have a special gift for noticing the emotions and personalities in pets that people often overlook. Whether your dog is playful, shy, independent, or simply needs a little extra love, I take the time to understand what makes them feel comfortable and happy. I’ve been around dogs since the age of 7. My specialty is dogs, but I happily welcome my feline friends too! :) When your pet is with me, they’re not just being watched. I want to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and joyful during every visit—so much so that they remember me when I return! My goal is to make sure your pet has a great day, because they give us so much in return: security, joy, companionship, and unconditional love. I want them to feel that same care and connection while they’re with me. 🐾 I don’t have a full time or part time job, I don’t own any pets of my own, no kids. My only exceptions would be my personal daily task that come with general life. I do not board more than one dog at a time just to keep things safe. I also live in an apartment complex with two other roommates who are my best friends. With this set up, I can ensure both your fur baby and my roommates are comfortable.
About: I’ve always been the friend people call when they need someone to care for their pets! I’ve raised a dog from puppyhood and adopted and cared for a senior dog, so I’m comfortable with every stage of life. Over the years, I’ve been a repeat dog and cat sitter and walker for countless friends and family—including house sitting for over a month. I am also a Doctor (resident physician) at Baptist Health, so responsibility, attention to detail, and caring for others are a big part of my everyday life. I specifically offer Rover during lighter months when I’m home most of the day; when I do go into work, I’m typically only away for 2–3 hours at a time. I’m comfortable with medications and detailed care instructions, attentive to when something seems off, and calm in unexpected situations. One of my closest friends is also a veterinarian, giving me a trusted resource when needed. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and treat other people’s pets the way I’d want someone to treat my own. If you furry friend stays with me, they will also meet Zeus, my 10-year-old neutered pug and professional co-pet-sitter. He’s incredibly laid-back, patient, and unfazed by just about everything—I have never even heard him bark! He loves dogs and cats, has helped me host many pets over the years, and mostly just does his own thing while providing some quiet companionship. Whether you have an energetic puppy, a laid-back dog, or a cat who runs the household, I’m at your bark and call! 🐾 As I mentioned, I’m a doctor at Baptist Health. I specifically offer Rover during lighter months when I am at home most of the day. When I do go into work during these months, I’m typically only away for 2–3 hours at a time. I want your pet to feel as comfortable and secure as possible, so I’m happy to follow whatever routine they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate time, sleeping habits, and all their little quirks! I’m attentive and responsible, and I never take the trust of caring for someone’s pet or home lightly. If you’re hiring me to host your doggo, I live in a condo right by Railroad Park and just a block from Rotary Trail, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time throughout the day. My mom also lives only five minutes away and has a large, beautiful fenced-in yard that we can visit for some extra space to play and explore. At home, my calm senior pug Zeus is around for company but is very content to do his own thing. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and prioritize keeping their normal routine. I will also send plenty of photos and updates so you always know how they’re doing!
About: I honestly enjoy dogs and cats more than most people, sorry not sorry 😆. There’s just something about the trusting love of an animal that brings joy to life/my world. I’ve been a dog owner for over 15 years, first to my sweet Charlie - no longer with us; and now to our foster fail Maya. Charlie was a border collie who never ran out of energy. Like, ever 😆. Maya is a more settled gal, but she still loves a good walk/hike as long as a nap comes afterwards. I’ve also been a cat mom, and cat foster mom for over 20 years. Our Sophie & Evie keep us on our toes requesting frequent snuggles, play time, treats, and nap time in our laps 💜🐾 If it’s not already evident, I firmly believe: pets are family, and pets have rights to autonomy/boundaries with people and other animals. I fully expect pet owners to have the same standards of care for selecting someone to help with their pet as I believe they’d use to choose a babysitter for their human kiddos. I happily respect and help maintain people’s rules for their pets (but all y’all that say they can’t get on the couch need an intervention 🙃😉 I’m just saying). Let’s chat about how to help your pets live their best lives when you can’t be with them - whether that’s walks, stop in visits, boarding in my home or other care needs. I work from home and have a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule. I’m able to do drop in visits to feed, administer meds, let dogs out, attend to cat boxes etc. and during my visits I will also provide a bit of attention and interaction for your pets if they desire it - I’m not just a run in and run back out sitter ☺️ I provide in home boarding and doggy day care at my home, where they have access to our fully fenced backyard for potty visits and playtime (weather safety dependent). I will probably only offer cat care visits to your home, as I have our 2 girls here full time as well as often having a foster kitten/cat or 2. I will be happy to cater a care plan that best suits your requirements and your cat’s needs.
About: We have a dog park where your fur babies can experience the time of their lives. Also walks around the neighborhood 💕💕💕💕💕. Nice community here! I am and independent contractor, and basically has plenty of time on my hands: I will go the extra mile to make sure everything is okay I devote so much time with other peoples dogs it’s insane. lol but I love it , and wouldn’t have it any other way !

“Tatiana is amazing! Zeus is in love. He recognizes her car and runs to the door to greet her, excited for his walk. She tires him out enough for him to settle down so I can work without having a bored puppy underfoot. Will request her again.”

“Monica and Mitchell has walked our dog several times now. We liked them so much that we decided to book them for repeat walks every week. They are great with communication, quick with responses, and our dood loves them! I would definitely recommend booking with them!”

As of right now, Mondays and Wednesdays, I am free after 3 pm. On Fridays, I am free after 12 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am free after 5 pm. I just love being around animals all the time. Whether I am doing school work or chores, I always keep them included.

About: I have had experience with dogs of every kind since I was born. I have cared for dogs of all ages between eight weeks and eighteen years old. My family had no less than four dogs and two cats when I was growing up. I got to care for large golden labs and for elderly yorkies and I love them all! I have extensive experience with all kinds of dogs, and I would love the opportunity to love on your pet. I am a college student here in Birmingham and my schedule is flexible! I can easily customize my availability and accommodate my clients as needed. Due to dorm living I am unable to have pets in my home. Due to dorm living I am unable to have pets in my home.

About: I’m a pediatric nurse and lifelong animal lover who understands the importance of being dependable, attentive, and patient. I have experience caring for dogs and am comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and following specific routines and instructions. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away. I work as a pediatric nurse, so my schedule varies throughout the week and gives me availability on many weekdays and weekends. On my days off, I have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and keeping your pet company. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior and will carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and household instructions you provide. I respect each pet’s individual routine and personality and will make sure they receive safe, loving, and dependable care in their own environment.

“Carson was amazing! We had to book last minute and she was very flexible with our ever changing plans! Took great care of our pup and sent pictures and updates throughout his stay! Will definitely book with Carson again in the future!”

“Wade & Morgan were fantastic hosts for our dog Boone over Memorial Day Weekend. Boone had a ball playing with their dog Atlas for 3 days. Wade and Morgan sent pictures and provided updates everyday. Would highly recommend!”
