About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was born, and have been taking care of them for as long as I can remember. I enjoy taking care of my family and friends’ pets, and I can’t wait to do the same for you!! I am a 4th year medical student with some free time, as I am currently in interview season. I have plenty of time for drop ins and daily walks, as well as home stays! I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and care for in their own home or in my home. I respect each pets individual boundaries, routines, and needs while giving them plenty of patience and attention. My goal is to make sure your pets are in good hands and feel happy and secure while you are away.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have taken care of everything from great pyrenees to Shih Tzu’s and even sugar gliders. I love volunteering at the Birmingham Humane Society and I know how to take care of puppies and seniors, how to give medication, and how to do basic emergency care like the Heimlich. I am a college student and have a couple labs/classes but I am typically free all weekends and Tuesdays. I can also stay when I am not in class. Other than that I am free to take care of all animals and make sure they are not lonely while you are away! In my home I have two cats. I rescued one as a kitten and have another older cat that came to me with asthma. Because of this I know how to administer medicine. I also grew up with dogs in my house as their primary caregiver and frequently visited my grandmothers farm. I have experience pet sitting and love every animal.

About: As a cat owner of nearly 6 years, I have the most in-home experience with 2 cats, but I’m also a dog lover at heart! I am able to check in on pets in the evenings and on weekends. This includes walking, feeding or simply checking in for play time! I respect all clients’ homes, belongings and personal privacy. I am here to look after pets so I do not rummage through anything that does not pertain to your pet’s care.

About: I have cared for a variety of animals and am comfortable caring for any pet (including exotic or uncommon), any age, any size, any level of care, and any personality! I have past experience caring for senior animals (including dogs, cats, and horses) as well as animals under age 1 (including dogs and cats). Although I am not offering training services, I have experience training and am willing to uphold any training regimen. I have experience shadowing a household pet veterinarian as well as an equine veterinarian. I also have farm animal care experience. I love playtime and am very attentive! I am very excited to care for your pet! I’m currently working full-time (3 12 hr shifts/week). I am available for boarding weekends and weekdays after 7 pm. My apartment is perfect for boarding! I am available for boarding some weekdays all day, but I will need notice 5 days and to coordinate in advance for boarding on a weekday before 7 pm due to shifting schedule days. I am available to sit weekends and after 7 pm on weekdays. Can do daytime feedings or walks 2 or 3 times a day. For boarding, I am in a one bedroom apartment with no other pets and decent play space. I have no toys, litter boxes, or cat trees so will need to provide their own. I live next to a large unfenced park. The apartment is clean and tidy and safe for pets. The apartment building also has a pet bathing station available if your pet needs cleaning. If you are concerned with a public bathing station, I am perfectly comfortable bathing your pet in the bath in my apartment. Please, let me know of any health or hygiene issues beforehand. Medications/allergies/health concerns are extremely important to me. For sitting, I will clean any pet messes if needed. Require a decently clean home and closer distance if overnight sitting is needed. Please, let me know of any concerns ahead of time. For walks, please let me know an estimated average walk time for your pet so that they are comfortable and happy!

About: I’m an educator, dad, and lifelong pet owner with more than 20 years of experience caring for animals. Pets have always been part of my family, so I understand that trusting someone with yours is a big deal. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and comfortable following established routines for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and all the little things that help a pet feel safe and comfortable. As an early childhood professor, caregiving, observation, communication, and responsibility are quite literally part of what I do every day. I’ll care for your pet with the same attention and affection I expect for my own. As a university professor, my schedule offers more flexibility than a traditional 9-to-5, particularly on certain weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m also a dad, so planning, routines, and being dependable are already a big part of my life! I’m happy to coordinate care around your pet’s normal schedule whenever possible and will always be upfront about my availability before accepting a booking. I know pets are family, and I treat both your pet and your home with that level of care and respect. I follow your instructions closely, maintain established feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines, and pay attention to changes in behavior or appetite. I’m patient about letting pets warm up to me at their own pace and prioritize safety at all times. You can also expect dependable communication and updates while you’re away. I know how reassuring it is to know that someone you love is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life, starting with my childhood pup and later fostering for a local rescue until I became a happy foster fail! 🐾 While I’m not fostering anymore, I still volunteer with the rescue whenever I can. Caring for dogs has always been a passion of mine, and I’d love to give your pup the same love, attention, and belly rubs I’ve given to all the dogs who’ve been part of my life. PLEASE READ ME: 30 minute walks are weather permitted. If you book a 30 minute walk and it is pouring outside, I will take your furbaby outside to potty but the remaining time will turn into an inside visitation. Consisting of belly rubs and throwing a toy around. HOUSE SITTING PLEASE READ ME: I do have a very friendly golden retriever who accompanies me on all my house sitting bookings. She’s friendly to all pets, dogs & cats. Please keep that in mind before booking, thank you! “I work part time, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my days with ease. I enjoy making time for walks, play, and routines it’s something I look forward to each week. While I don’t have the space to host dogs in my own home, I’d love to care for your pups in the comfort of theirs. I follow routines closely, give lots of love, and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I have loved and been surrounded by dogs since I was a baby, and began helping other with theirs around the age of 12! I grew up with large dogs like Dobermans and Weimaraners, but have experience caring for dogs of all sizes such as Dachshunds, Bassett Hounds, Labs and Terrier Mixes! I am comfortable working with puppies and dogs being crate trained! I currently work from home Monday-Friday. My jobs gives me the flexibility to be away from my desk most afternoons starting around 2PM as long as I can be reached by phone. I try to walk around 3/4 miles a day and walking a dog for at least part of that is a great way to fill my time! I do not offer in home care as I have cats at home. When I am in your home, I will follow any rules set by you. I do not lets dogs off leash for their safety, and the safety of others. If I am going to be walking with your dog, I will do my best to assess a walking route with the lease vehicle traffic. If there is not a good route, I will be sure to stay well around of my surrounds and keep space between your dog(s) and the road.

My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where your pet feels comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I make sure they have fresh water, regular meals, plenty of exercise, and lots of attention throughout the day. Since I work remotely, I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions you provide. I also understand that every dog has a different personality, so I take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
