Despite that she took to their routines quickly and everyone settled in comfortably. She took them on walks and sent lots of pics. She also took good care of the house which was always appreciated. About: I provide pet-sitting in your own home, and can also do dog walking. Pet-sitting can include bathing and light grooming. I am comfortable with all ages and breeds of dogs, and have experience with a full range of each. I am experienced with many types of behaviors within dogs, and can offer basic training as needed. I have a passion for animals! I have grown up with many different types animals; dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I’ve also have had lots of experience with farm animals such as horses, goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks. I have been professionally pet-sitting since I was a teenager, and have been on Rover for the last 5+ years. I love all of the sweet pets I’ve been able to work with! My current availability is mornings and evenings M-F, and all day weekends. My schedule does get filled quickly, but if given enough notice I should have flexibility! I work full-time, but I still have times during the week that I devote to my pets and yours. I make sure that each animal tended gets adequate exercise, attention, and even training as needed. I currently don’t offer in-house boarding at this time, but I often do house visits and dog walking. I have lots of experience and devote a lot of time ensuring that each person I work with is comfortable and feels safe with me in their home and/or with their pets. I have a set system that also ensures the safety of information such as addresses, keys, etc. so that it will never become a concern. I also take LOTS of photos and videos each time I visit, so that each client I work with can guarantee I do everything correctly and am being as safe as I can with their fur-babies:)

About: Hi! I’m Jessica and my husband is Joseph. We have lived in Crestwood North near The Filling Station for 3 1/2 years now. It’s a very dog friendly neighborhood and we love it here. We work together to watch and care for your pup or cat as we would our own. Being a team is pretty awesome since we can ensure your babies are very rarely left crated or alone. We keep a pretty steady routine 7am/7pm feeding schedule with our gals, so we are always up early to great you for drop offs or ready to come to your home for walks, drop ins, or house stays. We’d love to meet you and care for your pet! Meet and greet isn’t required and completely at your comfort level. We have house pet sat for some that we’ve never met in person. Drop offs in our home you are welcome to come in and meet all pets and see the yard where your pup would play. I volunteer at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and have lots of experience with different breeds and handling. My husband and I have 3 dogs, Maki (Brindle Belgian Malinois mix) & Turbo (American Staffordshire Terrier/Black Lab mix) who are sweet, goofy, smart babies. We also have CeeCee (Longhair Chiweenie). Totally spoiled! Many of the pet pics are with my husband, Joe, bc I never get good ones of myself apparently ha. I have been trusted to pet sit by friends, neighbors, and relatives many many times over the years. Several of the photos up are of foster pups and of some I’ve rescued. Some of my skills include potty training, social training, aggression correction with puppies, recognizing early illness symptoms and care. I’m trained to watch, recommend and act when medical treatment is needed. I also have experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications with dogs and cats. I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking your pup. I also enjoy occasional hikes on the trails at ruffner mountain. I offer cuddles and companionship for the pup or kitty that prefers laps and affection over walks or hikes. I don’t mind sitting at my home or yours. I stay home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to give a lot of attention to your pet and accommodate most plans! Respect to pets in their home is always given on my part. It’s your pets home and they should always feel safe! I will listen to the guidelines you give me and do my absolute best to be a trusted safe space person to your pet. I’ll spend as much time as your pet needs! I have a fenced back yard and two friendly pups that love to play. I also have indoor crates for mine and guests to be safely separated.

If we're hanging at my house, I have a large covered porch for the pup(s) to play on as much as they want. I also have the space to let them relax in their crate if you want to leave their crate with me. I also live in Southside which is the perfect area for long, enriching walks so we will get plenty of exercise!
