About: I am a fourth year medical student at UAB. Now that I have finished all of my rotations, I am looking for a way to spend my free time by doing something I love: caring for animals! I am also looking to make additional income to help pay off my student loans. I have had dogs and cats my entire life and currently have two cats of my own here in Birmingham. I am very comfortable around pets and have dog sat/house sat since high school. My dogs grew up on a farm, so I know what pets need on a daily basis: exercise, attention, and care. I am willing to be a sitter in a safe and fun environment while families are away and need someone trustworthy and responsible to care for their pets. I have finished all of my core rotations for medical school and am now enjoying several months of free time before starting residency. I am generally free until July but may have some occasional days I am out of town. I am hyper vigilant on walks to ensure the safety of any pet. Having had a dog myself in Birmingham, I know how busy the roads can be. I will never let them off leash in a public setting. I also respect people’s privacy and were I to do a check-in at your home, I would never enter spaces other than what is immediately necessary for me to care for your pet.
“Meredith helped me have peace of mind today by agreeing to stay with my sick pup while I had to go to work. She kept me up to date with how she was and even went out of her way to pick up medication from the vet, administer meds, and feed my pup. She also took care of my other two dogs' potty and loving needs while there. I'm so thankful!”

About: From the age of 12, I've been taking care of pets. My passion for providing pets with the utmost care and attention has grown over the years. Through my experience, I have not only developed a strong sense of compassion for all animals, but I have also developed the ability to handle any situation. I have a trio of furry friends, but what sets them apart is that I've taken it upon myself to raise, train, and deliver two of them. The third one was a gift, but they've all become an integral part of my life. Rest assured that your beloved pet will be treated with the same love and care that I give to my furry friends. You can trust me to provide your pet with the attention and affection they deserve. As an independent worker, I have the flexibility to be there for you and your furry friends whenever you need me. Count on me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. At the moment, I don't provide in-home pet services. However, I'm committed to adhering to all safety guidelines to guarantee your furry friend's well-being and an enjoyable experience.
About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life and currently have three of my own! I often watch my family and friends’ pets when they go on vacation or out of town! I don’t mind walking, playing, bathing, or giving your fur babies all the attention they need/want! I work full time M-F 8-4:30. On days I work, I can guarantee that your dog(s) go out right before I leave for work and right when I get home and right before bed. On days I don’t work I will make sure your dog goes out every atleast 3 hours with plenty of play time. At my home, I currently have 6 dogs of my own that are crate trained so if your dog(s) aren’t too fond of other dogs I can keep them separated. I prefer pets to be crate trained so if I have to leave the house they can be put up to ensure they don’t get into anything but it’s not a deal breaker if they aren’t. I can feed, water, and give medicine if need be based on your pets needs.
About: I have grown up with animals my entire life. Caring for animals has been my life long ambition. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your fur babies. My fiancé And I love training and exercising with them every day and they push us to be the best we can be. They bring so much joy and happiness to our life. I have 5 years experience pet sitting for friends and family as well. They are the support system that told me about this app. Work from home but it’s not very demanding. Extremely flexible schedule. Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. To continue to keep your (our) fur baby safe I will keep trash cans covered or inside a latched cabinet. Move all chemicals to high shelves or behind secure doors. Keep cords, chargers, and other potentially harmful items out of reach.

About: Hi my name is Lorin and I'm the proud owner of my boy Erebus who's a 5 year old lab mix and Grim my 7 month old kitten. Erebus and I love going on nice hikes and playing in the water. If house sitting I do like to bring Erebus with me for consecutive nights. I've had dogs all my life and used to frequently volunteer at my neighbors old vet clinic. I am extreme animal lover and advocate. I will love and take care of your babies as if they were my own. If you have a pup with special needs I have experience dealing with several illnesses and disabilities that way your baby gets all the special care they may require. I work 7-4 Monday- Friday but on my lunch I can come walk or take care of your pets. Prefer to not do early morning walks as I have to be at work so early. I always take my time to let new pets get used to me especially when I’m in their space. I always want them to feel safe and comforted while their parents are away.
