My special skills, are soft skills… Meaning that I work best with slow warm-ups for any anxious pets. But also, I’m ready for any high energy animals as well. I go to school, and work during the weekdays… But have a giant break in the middle of the day, for any pet care. Weekends work best for me. About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to adults. I’ve had dogs of my own and regularly cared for my brother’s dogs while he was a breeder, giving me hands-on experience with puppies and adult dogs. Most of my experience is with French Bulldogs, Cane Corsos, and Boston Terriers. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I am currently a full-time freshman at UAB, but my weekly schedule has consistent gaps that allow me to provide dependable and attentive care for your pets. I am experienced with maintaining pet routines and can easily accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and feedings during my regular availability: Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM and after 4:30 PM; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and after 3:15 PM; Fridays from 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM and after 3:20 PM; and open availability all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I believe every pet is different, so I don’t treat every pet the same. I take the time to learn their personality, routines, and comfort level so they feel safe and cared for. I’m gentle, attentive, and respectful of each pet’s needs while making sure their environment stays clean and secure.

About: Hello, my name is Kuvo. I have lived with cats my entire life and currently own five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats. I have college in the mornings Monday through Thursday, but I'm free the rest of the time. If there are any sudden inconveniences with schedule then I will notify as soon as possible. (Additionally, my name is Kuvo, but Lydia is fine. Your pet is my priority, so I hope a name will not disturb the service provided.) There are certain times for engaging with cats and certain times to provide them with distance. I hope to prevent stress while also giving them the proper attention they need. I am never too far and know where they are.

About: I’ve always had cats, and usually they were strays that we took in. As a teenager, I would pet sit for my neighbors frequently when they were out of town- cats and dogs! I had two dogs growing up. Now as an adult, I have 2 cats of my own, Sinclair (5yo male) and Petal (1yo female)! For most of June and July I will be free week days and weekends! Starting in August, I will be available in afternoons and on weekends. I am willing to spend time with your cats and dogs, play with them however needed, and I can take your dogs on long walks!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I volunteered at an animal shelter when I was 14. I walked dogs, cleaned cat cages, and socialized cats. I’ve walked dogs and dog sat for neighbors and family friends in the past. I currently go to college and have classes two days a week. However, I have a pretty flexible schedule and would be able to walk or check on animals in between classes as well! I love giving animals attention. I’m comfortable with all size and energy dogs, I had a chocolate lab who LOVED to play. I would also be happy to help teach dogs basic commands!

About: I have animal experience in a shelter setting and in a medical setting. I’m currently working at a veterinary office as a kennel attendant. I’m also able to administer medications orally or via injections. I work from 8-6, but I get a two hour lunch. I’m able to drop in and check on animals in the mornings, on my lunch break and after work. I’m always mindful of an animals mood and try to adjust accordingly. If there’s treats, toys or routine that make an animal comfortable the that’s what I try to follow.

About: I have had animals since I was as young as I could remember, as well as my own personal animals since age 10 or so. I love animals and have cared for my grandparents, in laws, neighbors, and more. I usually house sit for family when they are out of town which includes caring for their zoo of animals! I am self employed. I run a horse boarding facility and teach riding lessons. I am usually out of my home for 4 hours Monday to Friday and have a lot of freedom to travel to other places to do home visits. I have a reputable business and care deeply for all animals.
