“Finn loves Barrie so much! When we pull up to her house, he starts getting so excited and vocal. By the time we get out of the car, he is galloping up to her front door to see her. I know he has the best time every time to he visits!”

“Amy was wonderful with our two dogs! She very clearly spoiled them. I can tell by the pictures that they had a great time. Especially out in the back yard! She was also very accommodating with our schedule which was very much appreciated!”

“Libby was so wonderful. Our dog is so timid with everyone and I love how much care and attention she was given. I also loved the pictures and updates. My family will be using her again.”

“Katherine was so sweet and made sure to keep me updated. I told her that this was my first time boarding Lu privately, so she made this SO comfortable and I got a bunch of super cute pictures out of it!”

“Tatiana was a great host for Wallace! She was so kind and came to the rescue in short notice. Would highly recommend her to anyone with a dog who loves kids and would definitely repeat.”

“Kelsey was awesome to say the least! She’s very flexible which was amazing with being stuck in a winter storm I didn’t have to worry about my pup at all. She made Kaia feel right at home and her two dogs played with Kaia great!”

“We have never had a bad booking on Rover BUT Chyra is the best, BAR NONE! She provides great instructions to set expectations. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND treating a hot spot that appeared, she gave me something to read explaining my dog's behavior AND she even went to the store for us to get some extra supplies we needed. If all of that doesn't say enough, i couldn't get Chadwick to leave with me... HOW EMBARRASSING! It goes without saying that we've found our forever sitter because the icing on the top is she's :10 minutes away from us!”

“I was so happy knowing that while I was doing extra traveling for work Nova would be so well taken care of. It’s evident that she loves it with Cody and has such an amazing time always. Never any problems when booking with Cody. Will definitely use again in the future.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and would do some pet sitting during college. Growing up dogs have been part of the family and I will treat your pets with the same respect, care, and love. Im a behavioral therapist for kids during the week, but my weekends are open for your fur babies! I’m also available for pet drop ins after 5pm during the week! I will be sure to take any necessary precautions as needed for your pets’ health and safety. I can assure you they’ll be well taken care of with me!
“Lydia was so great without our baby! She sent update photos and messages and has lots of experience with handing difficult dogs. We will definitely be using her again! I felt very confident that my dog would be safe and taken care of in her hands.”

“Wade & Morgan were fantastic hosts for our dog Boone over Memorial Day Weekend. Boone had a ball playing with their dog Atlas for 3 days. Wade and Morgan sent pictures and provided updates everyday. Would highly recommend!”

“Rachel was amazing! She sent us pictures and updates during stay and let us know of any issues our pup was having. My sweet girl has food allergies and Rachel reached out to let us know plus did what she could to help. Will 100% be using her again in the future.”

“Laderius and his family were available for last minute boarding. They kept me updated with regular photos and messages. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and trustworthy to care for your pet, this is the right family. I’ll definitely be reaching out to them again in the future!”

“He took such great care of my little pup! When I picked up my dog after his first 4 day stay with Doug, he was happy and settled (he is a sensitive dog! So I know if hasn’t been well with someone). I’m so grateful, Doug was wonderful!”

“Jessica was great! We got pictures every day and a video too! We could tell she made our old girl comfortable and happy in a new environment. She also has a one level house with no stairs to the backyard which is great for dogs with arthritis. We will definitely use her again next time we go out of town!”

“Harold was absolutely the best decision I have ever made about my dog. Hans is our little old man who is never left alone and likes to be with his people but not other dogs. Harold had Hans with him all the time. He sent us lot of pictures. Hans is back home now and does not seem the least bit traumatized or upset. We will absolutely use Harold again if the occasion arises! He was wonderful!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I cannot say enough good things about our pet sitter Carson. She was perfect for us and our pet babies and from the very beginning of the process she was great. She was quick to respond to my initial message and she was informative and accommodating. She welcomed our babies into her home and sent us pictures and texts to let us know they were doing well which was so nice. She even went above and beyond when my flight home was going to make me late for our pickup time and was so helpful and accommodating! Overall, it was one of the best experiences with pet sitting/ boarding that we’ve ever had. Carson, thank you much for taking care of our babies! You don’t know how nice it was to know that they were being loved while we were away. And thank you so much for the pictures and for always reaching out to ask me questions about them. I hope they were good for you and that are invited back again because you guys were so wonderful and a godsend. Thank you again!!!! 💕”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Birmingham
Corlaeja really came through for me and Billy. It was a very last minute booking, and she was not only able to do it, she did it exceptionally well. My boy—who is a brat—looked happy and healthy in every photograph she sent (and she sent regular photographs). And, of course, he came back to me the same way I left him. I will definitely look to rebook with her the next time there is an opportunity. Thanks again!

Milo had such a great time with La Timberly! 🐾 I could tell he was genuinely happy and comfortable the whole time. She kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos, which I really appreciated, and she was always super responsive whenever I checked in. It made being away so much easier knowing he was in such good hands. I’d absolutely trust her with Milo again!

I had a wonderful experience with Barrie. Taking care of two dogs isn’t always easy, but everything went very smoothly. Communication was clear and prompt, and I received regular updates and photos, which really put our minds at ease while I was away. It was obvious that my dogs were well cared for and comfortable. I truly appreciate the care and responsibility, and would definitely book again in the future.

I highly recommend Jimbo as a pet sitter. He went above and beyond to take care of my puppy Ginger for 7 days, even giving her a cute outfit and spoiling her with love and attention. He also provided daily updates and videos of Ginger playing in the dog park, which put my mind at ease while I was away. I was completely satisfied with his service and will definitely be recommending him to others in need of a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
