“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“My pup Dorian stayed with Kayte for 4 days while I was away on vacation and I never once felt an ounce of worry that he wasn’t okay. In fact, with video and picture proof, it was clear that Dorian was having the best time! Kayte treated my pup as if one of her own and that’s the best you can ask for!”
“Another wonderful stay with Jessica! She treats my puppy like her own. We are so grateful for her updates throughout our trip and the detailed report she provides when we return home. She’s the best and has a lovely home full of love and toys.”

“Katie and her family were absolutely amazing! They are were so kind and gave my pup all the extra attention he loves. Will absolutely be coming to her for future bookings 😊”

“Tatiana was awesome! I got lots of updates with pictures and videos and communication and I knew my Daisy was in good hands! Daisy had so much fun playing and she got lots of cuddles. We will definitely book again!”

“Doug is a very thoughtful and kind sitter. He took excellent care of my elderly puppy and kept me updated on how she was doing. I am very thankful that he was able to take care of her while we were away!”

“Savannah was awesome!!! This was a last minute booking, and she was able to accommodate our dogs. Our dogs were anxious as always, but they were welcomed with open arms. We would absolutely recommend her as sitter and will use her in the future for sure.”

“Brittney took great care of our girl. She sent lots of pictures and came back tired and happy. Brittney took time for me to call her before booking and made sure we were a compatible match. Thank You!”

“Stephanie did a great job with our boy Bodhi. She was sweet, caring and we can tell Bodhi enjoyed his stay. Highly recommend her. She will be our go to in the future.”

“Cody is the best! My Chloe loves being at his place! He keeps me very updated and I never worry about the safety and wellbeing of my dog! I will continue to book with him!”

“My puppy had great stay. Jessica is very nice, clearly visible she loves dogs and has tremendous patience. She also provided couple pictures during the stay, despite the fact it was just 1 day stay. We will definitely come back.”

“Bama 🐶 had a great first time boarding stay with Kristen and her family. Kristen communicated during his stay and sent pics which eased my mind that he was doing well. He felt loved and right at home with them. I would definitely book with them again and i know he would love to come back!”

“Charlie was amazing with my dog, Shadow!!! Her and her girls were so sweet to him, sent pics of him living his best life everyday, and we're super accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process, start to finish! We will definitely book with Charlie again!”

“Ashley was awesome with our two Boxer girls! Mags and Su had a blast playing in the big fenced back yard & with her pup and senior Boxer. I honestly think Su is going to have separation anxiety from Freya, she loved playing with her so much!! Ashley sent daily updates with photos/videos. We would highly recommend, especially if you have a Boxer, trusting Ashley with your fur babes!”

“It was a pleasure to have Parris watch and take care of our almost 17 year old dog Vanilla for 5 days. Paris communicated very well, was prepared, and we highly recommend her! 👌”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
