Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

We have two medium/large size dogs, one that’s a love bug and had never been boarded before and the other one has severe separation anxiety where previous boarding didn’t go well a couple years ago (previous time was with a different facility). From the initial meet and greet, to daily updates and photos she kept up informed but also made our anxious baby feel so loved. She has a beautiful fenced in area and we felt totally safe leaving our babies with her. We would absolutely use her again in the future! About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. I have a large beautiful fenced yard, have multiple crates for use and live within walking distance of a dog park. I have kids that will make sure your dog gets lots of love while being boarded.

Pet care fits naturally into my weekly rhythm. I work full-time Monday through Thursday, but I’m available for evening care during the week. On Fridays I work mornings, so I’m available afternoon & evening. My weekends are fully open for pet care needs. Whether it’s daily drop-ins or evening walks, I love spending time with dogs and make sure they’re a priority in my schedule. I care for pets like they’re my own—because that’s exactly how I approach things in both my home and my clients’ homes. At home, I care for my dog Milo, who I’ve personally trained, as well as our family dog Annie and my sister’s energetic puppy, Oakley. I’m used to managing multiple dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I prioritize keeping pets safe, on routine, and feeling loved. I always respect each dog’s schedule, feeding instructions, and comfort preferences, and I’m happy to send updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.

I have had pets in my family since I was a child and could not imagine a life without my furry friends. Both of my children enjoyed successful pet care businesses under my supervision for the last 15 years. Now that my children are grown I am looking forward into getting back to pet sitting and loving on other people dogs. About: I’ve had animals my entire life. I adore animals and would love to take care of anyone’s fur babies like I would want mine taken care of! I’m currently full time in Nurse Anesthesia School at UAB, and a registered nurse! I am very responsible and would love to help out with your fur babies! I’m mostly just doing classes right now and can fit drop in visits and walks into my schedule easily. I always make sure the animals are not just taken care of but also receive the love and attention they need. I can care for them at owners homes so they feel comfortable and at home.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was young. I’m new to Rover but have helped many neighbors, friends, and family with their animals over the years. I’d love to help you keep your pets and family at ease by looking after your pet while you’re away. I work during the day Mondays-Fridays but can easily take your dog out for walks in the morning and in the afternoon once I’m back home. Weekends are usually much more flexible with plenty of time for walks and playtime. I’m comfortable with pets in my home. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but have a fenced backyard that’s great for your pet to get some fresh air when needed.
About: I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours. I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay. If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)
About: I am an animal lover to my core. I’ve worked with animals throughout my life helping out my neighbors, friends, family, and colleagues. I enjoy taking my own pups to the dog park and throwing a ball and watch them run around! I’m currently in college however 4 out of my five classes are online, that being said, I am unavailable from 2-4 on Monday and Wednesday. But available before or after during those days and available any day of the week. Your pup will get to play with my pups unless specified otherwise. I have a local dog park that I take all my dogs that I sit. With me, you can be sure that your dog is being cared for and I will make sure they’re being watched at all times! I’m currently in school from 1-3pm Mondays and Wednesdays but I am available throughout the week if it’s not during those times! I do not have a fenced in yard but I take my own pups to the dog park, yours are more than welcome to tag along!

About: I have always loved animals- any and all types. I have owned dogs and cats as pets my entire life. I’m an honest and loyal person. I will provide the greatest care for your furbabies and make sure they are loved as my own. I volunteered with local humane societies and I also worked as an animal cruelty investigator for years. Animals live shorter lives than us humans so we have to make sure everyday is great. I have fostered numerous dogs and puppies that I found in abusive situations so providing a little extra care is no biggie to me. I would be happy to drop in and check on your animals, take them for walks or board them at my house. I have a ten year old child that knows how to treat animals. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!).
