“Adrianna was prompt, professional, attentive and overall WONDERFUL. She was focused and detailed on her task, while at the same time being personable with our Cesar. He was excited to see her daily and awaiting her services. Will definitely utilize her services again and again”

“Katharine has been my saving grace since getting my Benny boy. Her love and care for my puppy doesn’t go unnoticed. She is the most reliable help I have found so far, and I plan to keep her around for as long as she will let me. My Benny loves her and so do I! Thank you Katharine for all you do for us, and I absolutely recommend using her for your doggy needs! ❤️”

“Piper is beyond amazing. She was able to start at the last minute and watching her with my puppy Casey, I could see how much she loves dogs and working with them. I was instantly put at ease. It makes our day to see all the photos she takes of Casey during their time together, and I know Casey is being loved. Working with Piper has been a dream, and I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I am an absolute animal lover and have lived with animals since I was 16! I love getting outside and playing with dogs or walking them, and staying in and cuddling or caring for little cats. I have worked closely with animals making sure they’re doing well and taken care of throughout college :) I will also always provide silly and fun videos and pics of the animals throughout their time with me!! I’m currently a graduate student at UAB with very flexible hours. I am walking distance from my work so I can always check back in whenever necessary! I also have a little camera set up in my apartment which can check on the animals as needed :) I am always spending the night in my own apartment and will usually be at work on weekdays from 8:30-4 When I am taking care of pets I make sure anything that could be harmful to them is put up and out of reach! I know some animals can be a little finicky and have some storage where I know they wouldn’t be able to reach. I also have a security camera in my apartment which I can access to check on the animals as necessary!
“Sarah was absolutely fantastic. My dog is extremely shy and she took the time to get to know Weller and make him as comfortable as possible. Sarah was also incredibly attentive and noticed Weller’s ear irritation which I’m so thankful for. This has been my first experience with Rover and Sarah is definitely my go to now!”

“Grace was such a great sitter/friend to my Benji especially with such short notice! She was such a great communicator and she was very responsive and receptive to my instructions. She sent photos from her visits and engaged well with Benj! I would highly recommend recommend her to care for any of your furry kiddos! ❤️”

“Alison was wonderful! Took incredible care of our pets, and was a great communicator the entire time we were away. I felt so at ease that they were doing well because of her messages, pictures, and check in reports!”

“Hannah was great and communicated well throughout, especially when there was an unexpected complication during her services. The cats were well cared for and house left clean. Will be using her again in the future.”

“Truett loves Catherine! She was very responsive, timely, and loved on him during drop ins ! She came in when we lost our reoccurring sitter unexpectedly and she was flexible and quick to step in. So grateful for her! 10/10!”

I understand how stressful long work hours and travel can be for pet owners, so I strive to provide reliable, loving care that gives families peace of mind while they’re away. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your babies! I understand the importance of reliability and consistency and will always make sure your pets feel cared for and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. “First time using Rover and was so pleased with how helpful Kyle has been. He was fantastic with our cats for an entire week and followed my instructions beautifully. Highly recommend Kyle and will be using him for our future cat-sitting needs 😻😻”

About: I would love to walk/ hike with your pet, care for it at your home, or drop in to let them out. I have always loved animals ever since I was little. My first job was a pet sitting service, I was frequently asked to watch neighbors dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, etc. My friends often rely on me to take care of their animals while out of town and I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies. My dog passed away earlier this year and I won't be ready for anther dog anytime soon, but I would love to share love with your animals. I work seasonally and am currently off for my winter season. I would love to spend time with your animals either at your home or on walks/hikes! I can not watch pets in my own home but in my client's home I make sure to follow their rules and ask the important questions up front. I make sure to not leave pets alone too long and to be there for feeding times and to keep them company at night.
“Gage is so great with my pups. I feel so comfortable when I go out of town because of the peace of mind I have knowing they are in good hands. Appreciate his availability last minute this last time I needed him! I wish to use him everytime I go out of town if he is available! Can't say enough good things about him!”

I’m always up for a long walk, playtime, or just hanging out with your pet while you’re away. I’ll treat them like my own and make sure they feel happy and loved. I currently work from home and set my own schedule, so I’m generally free during the weekday and in the evenings. I also have a lot of free time on the weekends and would love to look after your furry friends! When I’m pet sitting in someone’s home, I treat it like my own, keeping it clean and cozy for your pets. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own, making sure they’re safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Britiany did such a great job taking care of my 3 cats! She sent detailed updates and pictures of all of them each visit. When we got home, we got the sweetest Polaroid keepsakes of our babies. I have already booked her for the next time I am going out of town ❤️

Royalty was very communicative and gave good details on my cat’s wellbeing on the report card. My cat is very selective on who she likes and she warmed right up to Royalty! He also went above and beyond keeping things tidy at my house. I highly recommend him to sit for your fur baby!

Melissa is the BEST pet sitter ever. Her visit reports are very thorough and quite entertaining. We have the greatest peace of mind knowing she is checking in on our kitties (and medicating them, as needed). We've been using her for maybe two years now and trust her completely.

Kyle came once a day to look in on our cats, give them fresh food and water, and take care of the litter boxes. He communicated every day to let me know how it was going - even though the cats didn't come out for him (I have since talked to the cats about showing some gratitude). He was easy to work with. When we met in person I could tell he cared a lot about animals and had great attention to detail. Definitely will have Kyle back, and maybe the cats will be more appreciative this time.

Grace was an incredible addition to our home while we were away. She consistently posted updates and photos of our cats, which made me feel so much better about being away from them. She is reliable, trustworthy, and clearly cares deeply for the pets she watches. She kept them well fed, maintained the litter box, and gave us total peace of mind while we traveled. I would absolutely recommend Grace to anyone looking for someone to take great care of their pets.

Julianna was on time, kind, and patient with our cat. He is very timid around new people and we appreciate that she took her time with him and took care of his needs. This was the longest we’ve been away from our cat and we could tell he was doing well with each photo and feedback received!

Wilfredo took such great care of my kitties! He sent me thoughtful, thorough updates each day, spent time playing with them, and introduced them to KittyTV. He’s very nice, and my cats seemed really comfortable with him. I was on a longer trip than usual and it was a relief to know they were being so well looked after.

From the beginning, we knew Laura would be a fantastic match to watch our 2 kitties while we were out of town. She took the best care and the best photos too!! We cannot recommend Laura enough!! She did great with their feeding schedule and administering their medications. We will definitely be booking with her again! Top notch care!!! Thank you, Laura! 💜💜💜

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
