“We have a semi-feral, learning domestication skills cat, Miss Kitty, who is free to roam outside and in, and is very wary of strangers. Cam was so patient and loving, and won over Miss Kitty and us! We received daily updates, photos and/or videos. We highly recommend her for any cat sitting job you may have.”

“Frankie did a fantastic job with my 12-year-old American bobtail cat during my absence, especially on short notice. The drop-in visits were excellent in every way. I enjoyed reading Frankie’s updates, which showed creativity, thoughtfulness and caring. I didn’t have an opportunity to meet Frankie, but the vibe was a genuinely caring and wonderful soul. Buddy and I are highly satisfied with the care received, and, well, we just love Frankie. I will definitely try to book with Frankie in the future. Absolute trust. Thank you so much, from Buddy and me”

“Amy did an excellent job of taking care of Morris. He’s a shy cat but she went above and beyond to try and interact with him. She also sent frequent updates and photos. We always felt assured he was in a good hands!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years, including a chihuahua of my own and my family’s dogs. I have experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs as well. Even though every dog is different, I am able to provide adequate care and attention to every fur baby that I have the privilege of looking after. I am currently a student and have plenty of down time when I am not at school. This includes Fridays and Weekends and I can be pretty flexible with time! I keep frequent communication with pet owners, I’m able to accommodate to a dog needs, and am pretty knowledgeable about dog behavior to know their needs.
“Sarah was AMAZING! This was my first time using rover.com and my first time having a stranger come into my house to watch a pet. I admit I was a little nervous, but after meeting her at her complimentary visit at my house to see our pet and see our house I had full trust in her character. She's lovely, and was SO sweet to my cat, who is not always so friendly to strangers. Can't thank you enough, Sarah, and will definitely book again in the future with you!”

“I am so happy I found Trish on Rover! I had used a few other sitters from the site before but was never really happy with them until I met Trish! She is very responsive when you book and eager to get the ball rolling! From our first encounter at the meet n greet, I knew I had found a sitter that would do what I requested for my fur baby! Trish was happy to accommodate my requests and let me know when she was on the way to check in on my cat. She sent videos and photos of my baby and assured me she was doing well! She updated me on what she did during her visits and asked if I she could do anything else for me while she was there. She loves animals, and you can tell! My cat usually hides under the bed with other sitters, but with Trish, she was out n about more, and it made me happy that my cat liked her! Trish is friendly, outgoing, and dependable. She is my go-to sitter from now on!!”

“Meredith did an amazing job taking care of my kitty! She’s also been such an amazing communicator and easy to work with. Would so gladly rebook and recommend her to anyone!”

“Anna was awesome!! Always very responsive and sent lots of pictures of her playing with my two cats which made me feel so much better about leaving them. Would absolutely use her again and recommend :)”

“Kadence was soo wonderful with my cat. My cat can be a little skiddish so on the first day she had me on FaceTime so we could find him. She communicated so well, was always sending pictures and was overall amazing!!! Will def be using her again!”

I work 9 to 5, during the week, but I’m available for walks or potty breaks before and after work and all day on weekends. I follow the owners instructions as needed to caring for pets in your home. “Adrianna was prompt, professional, attentive and overall WONDERFUL. She was focused and detailed on her task, while at the same time being personable with our Cesar. He was excited to see her daily and awaiting her services. Will definitely utilize her services again and again”

“Vicky did a wonderful job for us. Our dog is older and does not like being boarded. Vicky walked and fed him for several days while we were at the beach and she even had to overcome adversity - a snake on our front porch one day ! I would definitely recommend Vicky !!!”
About: I am a fourth year medical student at UAB. Now that I have finished all of my rotations, I am looking for a way to spend my free time by doing something I love: caring for animals! I am also looking to make additional income to help pay off my student loans. I have had dogs and cats my entire life and currently have two cats of my own here in Birmingham. I am very comfortable around pets and have dog sat/house sat since high school. My dogs grew up on a farm, so I know what pets need on a daily basis: exercise, attention, and care. I am willing to be a sitter in a safe and fun environment while families are away and need someone trustworthy and responsible to care for their pets. I have finished all of my core rotations for medical school and am now enjoying several months of free time before starting residency. I am generally free until July but may have some occasional days I am out of town. I am hyper vigilant on walks to ensure the safety of any pet. Having had a dog myself in Birmingham, I know how busy the roads can be. I will never let them off leash in a public setting. I also respect people’s privacy and were I to do a check-in at your home, I would never enter spaces other than what is immediately necessary for me to care for your pet.
“AWESOME dog sitter! I got so many pictures and videos and updates! I love it!!! Tater tot had so much fun! All instructions were followed exactly and my house was left very clean! My favorite Rover person ever!!!”
