About: I have diverse experience in animal care from my own pets, to neighbors and family members’ furry friends, and even professionally with wildlife. I am excited and honored to care for your family, both human and animal. I work sporting events freelance and am looking to add a little work on the side. I am free almost every weekday and most weekends. I do have an apartment most suitable for smaller dogs, however I have access to ample green space and neighborhoods to walk and play in. In your home, I will respect your space while keeping your furry friend in an environment they know.

“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

About: I’ve been around both large and small dogs my whole life. I fostered Dog’s when I live in Ohio and I had 3 acres. My sister has 5 dogs and 4 cats and a lizard. I used to take care of them all the time while she worked. I used to have a special needs dog that I took care of before cancer took him from me in 2019. I have 2 dogs right now. One was a foster fail, lol. I am a mother with another job so my schedule is all over the place, but I make it work. I can watch over night occasionally. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I will do what is needed to keep the pet safe and happy. Walks, play time, I can administer meds if needed, crate if needed, cuddles, etc. whatever you need.

“They took great care of my Aussiedoodle. He looked so happy in every photo. She sent plenty of photos and him and each photo had a little blurb of how he was doing. It was very cute! I would totally trust them again with him. It makes it more enjoyable for him that they have their own dogs as well. I know he enjoyed playing with them.”

We service Vestavia, Mtn Brook, Hoover and Homewood. Your pup will be treated like they are one of ours! My family has a fully fenced Big yard and a Golden that your pump can walk/sleep with. I am a Single Dad and only away from home while walking our normal dog walking customers, so lots of potty breaks during the day and extra quality time annd attention are available for those in need. I own The Fairy Dod Dad which is a premier dog walking company based out of Vestavia Hills, AL. It not only fits into my daily routine but IS my Daily Routine. About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

About: Lexie, my own dog, has taught me a lot about patience, routine, and understanding a dog’s needs. Through caring for her and other family dogs and my previous dogs back in the Philippines, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily pet care, playtime, and feeding schedules. I’m very attentive and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I enjoy keeping dogs active with playtime, especially games like fetch, providing plenty of cuddle time, and sticking to their routines for feeding, potty breaks, and naps, and making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Every dog deserves a fun, safe, and caring environment, and I’m dedicated to giving them just that. I’m available to care for pets on weekends, which is when I’m off work and can give full attention to your furry friends.
