About: We love dogs! But right now with 7 kids in the throws of school and all the extracurriculars, it’s just not the right time for us to have our own furry family member, so let us love on yours! My husband and I each had dogs growing up and we had a family dog until he passed away a few years ago. We have been boarding, walking, and doing drop-ins since that time. From puppies to senior dogs, we can take care of them all. I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools my 7 children, so we’re home the majority of the time and will be able to fit in your dog’s regular schedule into our every day routine. When pets stay at our house we do our best to keep the same schedule and expectations the dogs have come to know at their homes. I enjoy going for walks at the park and visiting the dog park with dogs who are accustomed to it. We do not have a fenced yard, so I make sure each pet gets adequate exercise each day on a leash. When I come to your home, I will follow your directions exactly as you desire and provide pictures and GPS “walking time cards” via Rover so you can be assured your pet is receiving the high quality care you paid for!

I am free almost every weekday and most weekends. I do have an apartment most suitable for smaller dogs, however I have access to ample green space and neighborhoods to walk and play in. About: I’ve raised, rescued, fostered, and even foster-failed many dogs in my adulthood. I’m a passionate pet lover! Experienced in puppy training, senior support, & special-needs. I have 6 animals of my own & it would be pawesome to tend to yours. I’m currently a stay at home dog mom! I quit my career early 2025 to care for my two special-needs senior dogs. Unfortunately, they both recently passed within weeks of one another. I now have idle time that provides me with a flexible schedule to fit you and your furbaby’s needs. I currently have 4 dogs, 1 cat, & a critter! All rescues! 2 are dachshunds which are both blind seniors. The other 2 are both medium sized and both are very friendly. My cat Loco is definitely used to dogs and the chaos they can sometimes bring in the house! We have dog beds throughout the house and we even customized our mudroom when we renovated, equipped with their crates and a dog wash station!

About: I have cared for a variety of animals and am comfortable caring for any pet (including exotic or uncommon), any age, any size, any level of care, and any personality! I have past experience caring for senior animals (including dogs, cats, and horses) as well as animals under age 1 (including dogs and cats). I often volunteer at the Birmingham Humane Society! Although I am not offering training services, I have experience training and am willing to uphold any training regimen. I have experience shadowing a household pet veterinarian as well as an equine veterinarian. I also have farm animal care experience. I love playtime and am very attentive! I am very excited to care for your pet! I am available to sit weekends and after 7 pm on weekdays. I can do daytime feedings or walks 2 or 3 times a day. I am available for boarding weekends and weekdays after 7 pm. My apartment is the perfect environment for boarding! I am available for boarding some weekdays all day, but I will need notice 5 days and to coordinate in advance for boarding on a weekday before 7 pm due to shifting schedule days. For walks, let me know an estimated average walk time for your pet so that they are comfortable and happy! For sitting, I will clean any pet messes if needed. Require a decently clean home and closer distance if overnight sitting is needed. Please, let me know of any concerns ahead of time. For boarding, I am in a one bedroom apartment with no other pets and decent play space. I have no toys, litter boxes, or cat trees so will need to provide their own. I live next to a large unfenced park. The apartment is clean and tidy and safe for pets. The apartment building also has a pet bathing station available if your pet needs cleaning. If you are concerned with a public bathing station, I am perfectly comfortable bathing your pet in the bath in my apartment. Please, let me know of any health or hygiene issues beforehand. Medications/allergies/health concerns are extremely important to me.

About: Experienced Pet Enthusiast with a Passion for Pups Ready to Provide Top-notch Dog Sitting Care! My home is safe for our fur babies to play. I currently work from home 2-3 days each week. I’m also open on most weekends for boarding and sitting except on Sundays. Great schedule that will fit your needs. I have a fenced in yard with doggy doors that opens into the yard. I also have 2 dogs that love to play. Dogs can be separated or crated if needed.

About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

About: Although I don’t have any professional experience caring for dogs, I do have experience caring for family and friend pets, which included all the services offered here. On top of that, I also used to have a dog, so I also have experience there. About: Working at animal hospitals and pet stores has taught me to care and handle not only my own animals but the animals of others as well. I am caring and loving with your dog as if it is my own but firm need be. I am not squeamish when it comes to cleaning up after your dog. While with your dog they will get 100% of my attention because the safety of your dog is my #1 priority. I am very careful with special needs dogs and always keep in mind their specific needs. I am very knowledgeable with most breeds and their dos and don'ts. Your dog will enjoy their play time with me. They will be looking forward to my visits! I do have 3 dogs and 5 cats, but your baby would be separated from all of them. We have our own kennels if you baby is used to sleep in them. Or we allow your babies to sleep in the bed with us. We have a big backyard with toys and and little pool during the summer.

I am self employed. I run a horse boarding facility and teach riding lessons.
