“Rebecca was so fantastic for our senior dog while we were on vacation. She was very communicative and maintained a consistent schedule of drop-ins. I highly recommend her she is truly an animal lover and enjoys what she does. Will definitely use her again.”
“Madison took amazing care of our pets like they were her own! She was very gentle and loving and took lots of notes and asked lots of questions. We couldn’t recommend her enough!”

About: I love all sorts of cats and dogs, and have been pet sitting since I was 13. I am now trying to make money for college, and spending time with pets seems like the best way to do it This is my only job at the moment, so I can be very flexible with any times & dates. The one thing is that I am not much of a morning person, but I will be very happy to comply with any time if an early check-in is needed :) I would be more than happy to give your pet all of the attention it needs, as well as feed them, give them water, clean their litter box, take them outside, clean up their messes, or help them with anything they might need! Just let me know!
“Ray is Great! I use him on repeat for boarding and dropping in. Great Communicator. My pup knows him and loves him. Always 5 Stars! Thanks again Ray for accepting this last booking on short notice!”

“Katelynn did a wonderful job taking care of out two cats while we were away for a week. She came twice a day from 30 minutes away, she is willing to go above and beyond! She left us great notes and pictures each visit to help us feel at ease. And our cats were very happy when we returned home! Would definitely use her again!!”

“Steven was great with communication during each of his check-ins on our dog. He always took several pictures and was very intentional about bonding with our dog instead of just doing the tasks I had listed for him. We will definitely be using him again.”

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I grew up with many dogs and started pet sitting for family members and friends once I was able to drive. I tend to bring pet treats (usually raw diet) and/or toys to soften the fur babies up so please let me know any dietary restrictions. I’m excited to become your pets new furry godmother and spoil your best friend as they so rightfully deserve. I usually work from 5am -1pm everyday except Wednesdays and Saturdays. My schedule is typically empty after 2 as I can squeeze in the gym at anytime. If you would like an early morning drop in I ask to know before 1pm the day prior I can deter pets away from areas you don’t want them in. I can crate them per request or put them in a preferred room with toys and favorite items to keep them entertained

About: Animals have always been part of my life, and caring for them has never felt like a job—it genuinely brings me joy. As a pet owner myself, I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your furry family member with someone else. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind by treating your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, medication, cuddles, or simply keeping their routine consistent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be dependable and attentive to each pet’s needs. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, playtime, or overnight care, I’m committed to keeping their routine consistent and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I also provide regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a pet owner myself, I understand that every animal has unique routines, personalities, and needs. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, respect your home, and make sure your pet receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and patience. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I strive to create a calm, safe environment where they can feel comfortable and secure. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your furry family member is doing.
“Mara was fantastic! She arrived on time and my pup loved her. He was smiling in every picture she sent. He had toys, but Mara picked up on the fact that he just wanted some love and snuggles for the evening. I would definitely use her again.”

About: I have had a dog my entire life since I was 3. I love them very much and take very good care of them. Like they need. I work full time at home taking care of my disabled mother, so I have plenty of time to fully tend to your pets with plenty of play time. I have a fenced in yard, and 2 of my own dogs who are very active but also very caring. There will be lots of play time and dog cuddles available.
About: I've had or taken care of pets since I was little. I have a house of 5 pups myself of all different shapes, sizes and personalities. Wallace(Pittie), Paco(Weenie), Fig(Frenchie), Eli and Brooks(Twin Frenchies). I've had dogs range from small to large all my life. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to check in on your fur babies. I can provide check ins, house sitting, walks and in some cases keeping your pets at my house(depending on temperament) I try and stick to care at your house as I have 5 pups of my own(super friendly), but if we did a play date to make sure they all get along your pups would enjoy a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run around.
About: I’ve been handling animals ever since I was 13, this includes cats, dogs, and even bunnies! (I had one that I let free roam). Cats and Bigger dogs are always a personal favorite but I truly love animals and even considered going into veterinary sciences! I can assure you, your animal is in great hands seeing as I have a cat and two dogs myself! I’m a current part-time nursing student who uses this as a sort of side job on top of my normal job that i work at full time (30hrs a week), but i still have a lot of time to care for critters of any kind! Whenever I’m at my Aunt and Uncles for up to a week dog sitting and house sitting for them, I make sure to feed both of their dogs and let them out at least every 1-2 hours especially after feeding them, and they stay outside for about 30mins-1 hour, but i don’t mind walking animals at all either! And of course I like to cuddle up with animals if they allow me too and give them play time as well as a little down time to cuddle up and be content!
“Margaret was great! We were completely comfortable leaving our dogs at home with her checking in on them. She communicated well, and sent great pics of the dogs having fun! We definitely recommend and would rebook with her in a heartbeat!”

About: Hi! My name is Turner, and I am currently a medical student at UAB. While my current living situation doesn't allow me to have a pet of my own, animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with two loving dogs who were truly part of the family, and I miss having that daily companionship. Although I don't currently own a pet, I have helped care for my grandparents' small-to-medium mixed breed dog for the past two years whenever they have been away.. Through that experience, I've become comfortable with feeding, walking, playing with, and providing attentive care to ensure pets feel safe and happy while their owners are gone. As a medical student, I am responsible, dependable, and attentive to details. I understand the trust that comes with caring for a beloved pet, and I treat every animal with the same patience, kindness, and respect that I would want for my own. I'm excited for the opportunity to spend time with your pets, provide them with excellent care, and enjoy the companionship that I've missed since having dogs of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work part-time as a medical assistant, with most of my shifts lasting only about five hours. While the specific days I work can vary from week to week, my schedule remains flexible and leaves a significant portion of my day available. This allows me to provide reliable care for your pets, whether that means walks, drop-in visits, or simply spending quality time with them while you're away. When caring for pets, I focus on making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. Over the past two years, I have regularly cared for my grandparents' dog, which has included feeding, refreshing water, letting her outside for bathroom breaks, playing with her, monitoring her well-being, and providing companionship throughout the day. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I make an effort to follow owner instructions closely and maintain the environment they are accustomed to. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, attention, or simply having someone nearby, I am happy to provide the care and companionship they need while you're away.
About: I have grown up always having a pet in the house so I very quickly found a love for animals, specifically dogs. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! I'm currently working part-time as well as attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham but I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! I will be providing services primarily in the mornings as that is what works best for my schedule. I will be available between the hours of 6am-11am. I am focusing on dog-walking but I will occasionally provide drop in services as well, so I will follow any instructions I am given regarding caring for a pet in the client's home.

About: As someone who has had pets in the home for as long as I can remember, I know it is important for them to be in a loving, patient, and attentive environment and I thrive in providing environments that are such! I work from home and I’m a SAHM, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and supervision throughout the day. I have a large fenced in backyard and only two cats inside the home. I make sure that the pets that I care for have enough space of their own but are also attended to closely.
About: I loved having cats and dogs growing up and eventually started pet sitting for friends and loved it. Now I have 7 pets of my own and still love to give! I work part time and am available almost every afternoon during the week and Saturdays and all day Wednesdays to come love on your fur babies! My animals are possibly the most spoiled. We have a large fenced in yard, love giving our 2 dogs enrichment, and have plenty of cozy spots for all our cats and dogs.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets all my life I’ve always had a special connection with animals and been very reliable! I have worked at a vets office and I am now a Dog Groomer! Currently pet sitting will just be part time when I’m not at my full time job but once business grows I look forward to providing more of these services in the future! I care for all pets as if they were my own. I adjust to their needs and do anything in my control to make it a great experience for them and their owner!

Olivia was absolutely amazing with Whiskey and Selena! From the moment we met her, you could tell she genuinely cares about animals. She kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind, and my dogs looked so happy and well cared when I got home. She was patient, attentive, and treated them like her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
