About: I have grown up always having a pet in the house so I very quickly found a love for animals, specifically dogs. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! I'm currently working part-time as well as attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham but I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! I’ve been surrounded by dogs since the day I was born and became the main caregiver for them when I was about 12. From shy, skittish, and very nervous/anxious dogs with hyper personalities to laid back, not a care in the world, couch potato dogs, no job is too big or small for me and no pup is too difficult. I am currently not working any other jobs at this time and will have plenty of time to spend with you sweet fur baby or babies. I have a fenced in back yard with 2 of my own fur babies. I love spending time with them in the back yard, going for walks and playing fetch. I live close to a nature trail with a lake and love to take the dogs for walks there. We love that outside time. Inside I have room to play with toys and chill with your buddies.
About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.
About: Hello! I’m a stay-home-mom to an 8-year-old human, 17-year-old Border Collie, and a kitty under 1. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”
