About: I have grown up always having a pet in the house so I very quickly found a love for animals, specifically dogs. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! I'm currently working part-time as well as attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham but I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! I will be providing services primarily in the mornings as that is what works best for my schedule. I will be available between the hours of 6am-11am. About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

About: Hello! I’m a stay-home-mom to an 8-year-old human, 17-year-old Border Collie, and a kitty under 1. Our family moved to the area in2017, and I’ve built strong friendships with neighbors while caring for their pets while they are away. I have a lifetime of experience with both dogs and cats; canine recall training, socialization and behavioral training. My (our) love for animals makes this sort of “work” easy and fun. I know how important it is to leave your pets in the care of someone that you trust, and I love an opportunity to spend time with them. I would love to meet your pets! I’m home for the majority of the day everyday. Our son goes to elementary school on weekdays, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! In our home, we promote a calm environment indoors. “Cassandra was amazing! She watched my high-energy GSP mix puppy at her house for 6 nights and Piper came home happy and tired! Despite our trip putting us in a different time zone with limited service, Cassandra kept us updated on how Piper was doing and sent lots of pictures. When Piper got too adventurous outside and found herself with a bug bite that caused some swelling in her face, Cassandra let us know right away and went through lengths to get in touch with our vet and her own vet to treat with Benadryl. I felt like Piper was loved and taken care of the whole time! Would recommend Cassandra to anyone, but especially those with pups who need to be played with and exercised to burn off energy!”
