I take time to use an animal's subtle cues to achieve low stress interactions. Lots of experience with oral, topical and injected medications for cats and dogs, especially seniors. For holiday visits, please make sure you look at the holiday rates listed, as there is a premium.

I take leash safety seriously and will work with your dogs to make walks safe and enjoyable for your pup. Watering plants, feeding fish or reptiles is no problem, just give me clear instructions.

Melissa is the BEST pet sitter ever. Her visit reports are very thorough and quite entertaining. We have the greatest peace of mind knowing she is checking in on our kitties (and medicating them, as needed). We've been using her for maybe two years now and trust her completely.
Melissa was extraordinary. When my father died after a long decline, my house was in a horrid mess after having been neglected. She overlooked that to keep my cat crew of six fed, watered, and loved on while I drove to his desired burial site multiple states away. I was gone 2 weeks. I never once worried about my cats. What a gift that was. Her reports were thorough; videos and photos brought me smiles; and if I needed something additional, she was there. Do not hesitate to use her services.

Schedule
My calm nature and experience makes each visit pleasant for your pets. It is important to me to be patient and use positive reinforcement with all animals. I send LOTS of photos and detailed updates each visit so you can see all of the fun and feel secure knowing your friend is doing well and is taken care of.
