About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have trained two puppies. My boyfriend has a chameleon so I am good with all types of animals. I work in healthcare so I am free 4 days out of the week. I have lots of time on my off days to pick up side work and would love your fur baby to be a part of it! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, my mom and grandmother started the humane society in my hometown so we have always taken care of animals. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I love all animals but especially dogs! I currently work from home so I am available to watch your dog during the day or overnight boarding. I can do drop ins or walks after 4pm. About: I currently have two wonderful dogs of my own, an 8 year old Havanese and a 1 year old Dachshund. My Dachshund is high energy, and my Havanese is very chill, so I am very comfortable with dogs of all personalities. As a college student studying to be a teacher, I am away from home, so I am always missing my dogs. This is a great way for me to spend time and care for others while I am away. I am currently working part-time and mostly in the mornings. I will be able to care for your pets in the afternoons and on the weekends! Pet parents should provide any necessary materials that I may need to care for their pet (treats, leashes, harnesses, etc). I will be happy to discuss this further.
About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

About: I have always had multiple dogs in my home. My family has a love for rescuing dogs so we have taken in and fostered numerous dogs in the past. I cared for many dogs while in Tuscaloosa for college. I have since moved to Birmingham and become a NICU nurse! No matter what your baby needs, I’m here!! About: I have had multiple dogs growing up I do have a dog right now and I have dog sat my aunts dog while leaves. Dogs and children are the two things I really love in this world and I feel that I know how to care for them as they are my own. About: I’ve had my dog, Ollie, for 5 years since he was 8 weeks old, and my rescue Sadie since March 2024. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. My dad is allergic to dogs and cats, so growing up I didn’t get to have any of my own (besides the occasional fish). But anytime a friend or family member needed someone to take care of their pet, I would gladly do it. I am currently available on weekdays at any time and most weekends. I can make time to check on your pup or kitten whenever we you need me to! During home visits and/or walks, I will make sure your pet has a well-loved visit including some cuddles and belly-rubs, play time, taken outside to potty, and/or at least a 10 minute walk (unless requested longer). I can also feed your dog if requested. During the hotter months (85 degrees and up) I would prefer to not walk your dog longer than 20mins during the hours of 11am - 5pm, due to keeping your pups best interest at heart (burnt paws, overheating, etc.) but will gladly play with them outside in a backyard/dog area for longer!

I’m currently a student-athlete playing volleyball at Birmingham, and I’m home all day after practice and have a flexible schedule. I’m very disciplined with my time, so I can reliably care for pets early mornings, evenings, or throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m doing this to help support my schooling, so I take it seriously. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet. I have a spacious apartment and a pet washing station so I can always give your pet a bath and a pet-friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel at ease. I also have experience being around other dogs, so I’m attentive to their behavior and make sure everyone is supervised and comfortable.
About: I've taken care of family pets and neighbors' dogs for several years, as well as cats and fish. I have experience with the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and my own dog for three years. I'm available and flexible, so I'm ready to help out whenever you and your furry friend need me! When I'm not helping with neighborhood pets, you'll likely see me and my dog out for walks or training. I believe in meeting dogs where they are at by responding to their energy levels. That may mean making sure they are comfortable during stressful situations or jumping in to play at higher energy times! My primary goal is to make sure they are safe and set up for success when you are not at home, so I am happy to employ specific care instructions. No two dogs are the same!
