About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of one kind of animal or another for as long as I can remember. As a teen I volunteered at animal shelters, then as adult I became a foster for the Humane Society in Jacksonville Florida for years before moving to Birmingham last year. I miss having the opportunity to care for a variety of animals and getting to know them if only for a short while. I've taken care of very tiny newborns, sick, old, special needs and of course healthy animals. It would be my pleasure to welcome your fur babies with open arms into my home or yours. They will be treated like my own. If you are in the process of training, I will pick up where you left off with potty, leash training, etc. I can give baths and brushes if needed. About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I volunteered at my local humane society, where I developed a deep love of animals of all shapes and sizes! When I got back after vacation, the litter box was clean from her visit that morning and there was food and water in the cat dishes. The cats didn’t look distressed at all or anxious when I got back. About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

About: I currently have two wonderful dogs of my own, an 8 year old Havanese and a 1 year old Dachshund. My Dachshund is high energy, and my Havanese is very chill, so I am very comfortable with dogs of all personalities. As a college student studying to be a teacher, I am away from home, so I am always missing my dogs. This is a great way for me to spend time and care for others while I am away. I am currently working part-time and mostly in the mornings. I will be able to care for your pets in the afternoons and on the weekends! Pet parents should provide any necessary materials that I may need to care for their pet (treats, leashes, harnesses, etc). I will be happy to discuss this further.

About: Growing up with cats, dogs, and a turtle, I’ve always been an animal lover. Animals are my happy place. I have years of experience with lots of different temperaments and needs. From puppies and kittens, senior dogs and cats, the wild and excited, the shut down, scared or nervous, to everything in between. I am currently available weekdays and weekends for walks, playtime, and house sitting that meet your pets needs. I am also able to come for repeat walks/playtime during the day. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio where my dog loves to sunbathe and take in the scenery. We go on potty breaks and walks by leash with lots of sniff breaks (her favorite). In your home, depending on the style, I can play or supervise inside and outside fenced in play time. I will also take dogs on walks depending on your preference. I also love to give a treat after a good walk or playtime! Potty will always be picked up and dissuaded on walks. If waste needs to be cleaned during back yard time please let me know, I’m happy to keep your yard clean!
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13 years old. I have my own pup named Benji, he is a Springer Spaniel, and a cat named Maizy. I will go above and beyond to ensure your baby is well taken care of. I also love to take and send pictures!! I currently work part time and have availability for check ins Thursday-Sunday. Whether your dog or cat needs to be fed, a potty break, or a quick play date I am available. I also can stay for extended periods of time and am willing to stay for a couple hours in the home if necessary and if you are comfortable! In your home I will of course ensure your pet has their basic needs met, including food, water, and pottying. But I also would love to take your dog on a walk or play fetch outside! As for cats I would love to play with them with their toys and keep them entertained! I will never let a dog outside their home or yard without a leash and I will only work with dogs of a size I can safely manage.
About: I’ve been around and loved dogs quite literally all 27 years of my life. From a teacup Chihuahua to a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, I have owned and loved dogs of all shapes and sizes. I truly believe they are man’s best friend and should be treated as such! My living situation does not allow for pets at this time, so I am happy to interact with pets as much as I can. I’m currently working full time in church ministry, which allows much flexibility during the week days. I am fairly open on all days of the week except for Tuesdays. I also am happy to dog sit in the client’s home on weekends and during the week as needed. For all services, whether walks or overnight stays, I would be happy to provide the client with as many updates as they would like throughout the service, as well as send picture updates! About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of one kind of animal or another for as long as I can remember. As a teen I volunteered at animal shelters, then as adult I became a foster for the Humane Society in Jacksonville Florida for years before moving to Birmingham last year. I miss having the opportunity to care for a variety of animals and getting to know them if only for a short while. About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I volunteered at my local humane society, where I developed a deep love of animals of all shapes and sizes! I’ve been a reliable pet sitter for many friends and family members over the years — I love taking dogs on walks, playing games with them outside, snuggling with kittens on the couch, and sending you lots of photos of it all! I also worked at a vet clinic in college where I learned a lot about animal behavior and care. As a high school teacher with a free summer schedule, I am here to watch your fur baby any time of day that you need! As a public school teacher, I get to enjoy my summer break without obligation! This means I will have a very flexible schedule in June and July to take care of your fur baby. I will be able to take them for walks, play with them outside, and give them any attention needed throughout the day. I live on a quiet street with a yard (no fence) in a suburban area with lots of safe space for walking. If I’m coming to your home, I can ensure it will be taken care of and left in pristine condition and would love to explore the neighborhood with your pup or hang out around the house with your cat.
