“We adore Brittney! She took GREAT care of Khemet and when it was time to go, he did not want to leave. I highly recommend leaving your fur baby in Brittney's care!”

“Tatiana was WONDERFUL! She walked Harley a ton which I know Harley enjoyed, especially after a long car ride the day before. I could tell immediately that Harley was comfortable with Tatiana and her family and that’s saying a lot because Harley can be very timid and shy around new people. Thank you for sending plenty of picture updates too, I’ll definitely be booking again when I’m in the area!!!”

“Cody was so great! He communicated well, sent pictures and videos with updates, and gave my dog lots of love while I was away. He also was able to accommodate last minute changes in plans which helped us out so much. Definitely recommend him!”

“Barrie has been keeping our dog for several years now, and we are so thankful we found her! She treats Reagan as her own, sends lots of pictures, and is very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. It is such a relief to know Reagan is in the best hands while we are away.”

“Another wonderful stay with Jessica! She treats my puppy like her own. We are so grateful for her updates throughout our trip and the detailed report she provides when we return home. She’s the best and has a lovely home full of love and toys.”

“Wade & Morgan were fantastic hosts for our dog Boone over Memorial Day Weekend. Boone had a ball playing with their dog Atlas for 3 days. Wade and Morgan sent pictures and provided updates everyday. Would highly recommend!”

“Doug has become one of pur dog's favorite people!! She is always pleased to spend time in his home when we are away. Doug also is very conscientious about her feedings which are a bit complicated. So glad to have found him!?”

“Carson is amazing and we felt very confident that our Rosie would be safe and loved while in her care. She is always super quick to respond and sent pics and updates throughout the stay. She has a fenced in yard, which was a huge plus for us. We'll definitely be booking with Carson again!”

“We have never had a bad booking on Rover BUT Chyra is the best, BAR NONE! She provides great instructions to set expectations. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND treating a hot spot that appeared, she gave me something to read explaining my dog's behavior AND she even went to the store for us to get some extra supplies we needed. If all of that doesn't say enough, i couldn't get Chadwick to leave with me... HOW EMBARRASSING! It goes without saying that we've found our forever sitter because the icing on the top is she's :10 minutes away from us!”

“Our golden retriever absolutely loved his visit with Jonathan and his family. He could not have been a more perfect host and it was really nice to have a previous golden retriever owner as a Rover host.”

“Libby had a clean home, spacious space for Grey to stay & updated us with text & pics. She has a fenced in yard on the side & fenced in deck for the pups to play/relax safely. Grey was well taken care of & if we are in the area again we would rebook.”

“We cannot express enough gratitude for Ryan and his wonderful family for taking care of our beloved dog, Lola, during our recent family trip. From the moment we met them, we knew Lola was in the best hands. Ryan and his family were incredibly thoughtful, caring, and gentle with her, treating Lola as if she were their own. Lola can be quite shy and anxious around new people, but under their loving care, she felt safe and happy. Ryan's attentiveness and the warmth of his family truly shone through, making Lola's time away from us comfortable and stress-free. The updates and pictures they sent showed us just how much love and attention Lola was receiving, and it brought us immense peace of mind. We are deeply touched by the kindness and compassion Ryan and his family showed Lola. They went above and beyond to ensure she felt loved and secure. It's not easy to leave a cherished pet behind, but knowing Lola was with such amazing people made all the difference. We are forever grateful for their exceptional care and the genuine love they shared with our sweet girl. Thank you, Ryan, for being such a wonderful caretaker. Your kindness will always be remembered.”

“Deby is the best! Truly, she loves each animal so much and it shows. Our Lucy is older and has a harder time being away from her people and Deby was so loving and understanding and did what she could to make sure she was comfortable. Sent lots of videos and pictures every day. I knew our Lucy was in the best hands! This was our 2nd time using Deby and honestly we won't use anyone else! :)”

“Took great care of our sweet elderly pup… and was even able to provide care last minute, cause another caregiver canceled. Very pleased, should have used Kayte from the beginning! Nice family home, with friendly pet environment. Now I definitely know who to use! ❤️?”

“Jamie is our go-to sitter for our four cats and feral visitor. Dependable, communicative and caring. She makes the extra effort to get our shy kiddos to interact. They have always been well cared for when we come home, and she’s super responsive to requests.”

“Fantastic! Took such amazing care of our boys, was prompt and communicative, and very friendly. Took extra care of our cat that’s terrified of storms and got our shy cat to open up, which is no small feat. Highly recommend!”

“Kyle was great and helpful, especially for a last minute booking and my first time using Rover. He was sure to give me updates and photos on each of my animals, and was great with communication.”

“Melodie has watched our cats multiple times now over the past year or so. Top notch, highly recommended. Very attentive, great communication and able to give our senior cat his medication . They love her and we do too!”

“Hannah was great and provided prompt replies for a short notice booking. Came when she said she would and provided nice notes about the visits. Would highly recommend.”

About: While I love caring for all animals, cats have always had a special place in my heart. I've grown up with cats my entire life and currently have two rescue cats of my own, so I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level. I've cared for everything from playful kittens to senior cats and am comfortable administering medications when needed. I know that earning a cat's trust takes time, and I never force interaction. Whether your cat wants endless playtime, a lap to curl up on, or simply someone to quietly respect their space, I'm happy to meet them where they are.
“very responsive and kind, she helped us out while we were out of town and none of our friends could come help with feeding our little one! definitely gonna come back to her if we need help like this again ❤️”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and have worked with cats of all ages and behaviors. Most of my experience comes from working at a shelter, where I cared for and interacted with very young kittens, older cats, scared or shy and also rambunctious and playful. Cats can be nervous meeting new people but I’m very patient and will meet them at their level.
“Hannah is very sweet and professional. My cats love her. My cat, Cassie, was limping the first day she feed him and immediately sent me a video so I could arrange emergency vet care. I would 100% recommend her to anyone!”

“Cameron was absolutely outstanding. We were away at the beach for a full week, and he took incredible care of our dogs the entire time. He went above and beyond, sending regular updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious from every picture and message that our dogs were happy, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention and affection. Cameron treated them like they were his own. He was reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and genuinely cared about our pets. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. If you are looking for someone who will take exceptional care of your dogs and keep you informed every step of the way, Cameron is your guy. We will absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Britiany took GREAT care of our sweet kitty boys while we were gone for the weekend. She was very detail oriented and left report cards of each of her visits and sent us pictures of our fluffy boys. She took extra time to play with them and try to wear them out before the 4th of July fireworks got started, so hopefully our kitty who’s afraid of storms would be too tied to care! So very kind and thoughtful! We will definitely book Britiany again in the future!”

“Devin is AMAZING! We are so grateful for how well she looks after the kitties. You can feel totally confident in leaving your pets at home when Devin is watching them. She does a really good job keeping us updated and our cats love Devin! We will absolutely keep using her anytime we are out of town.”

About: Hi, my name is Kelsey! I have had pets my entire life and have experience with dogs and cats (and other animals, just ask!). I work full-time from home, so I will have plenty of time to stay with and pamper your pup! I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy and flexible, and I will make sure your pup is very happy while they are with me! If you do have any questions, please feel free to send me a message and ask! I have a flexible schedule that allows pups to have a great balance of relax and play time. While I’m a homebody and I work from home, I try my best to stick to your buddy’s normal schedule. I do try to go to the gym and errands, so I always try to coordinate the appropriate times to ensure I am able to give everyone a smooth time with me. I take tons of pictures paired with lots of updates on your buddy’s day while you’re away, so you can make sure they are comfortable and happy in their own environment. I always keep the house so clean it won't even feel like anyone was there after I leave!
“Cody was fantastic with our cat Spike. I sent him a sitting request in a pinch when our sitter canceled the same day we were leaving town. Cody jumped in and did a fantastic job with Spike. Excellent communicator and very helpful. Highly recommend and will book again!”

“Libby is so wonderful with my foster pup Mission. Mission is a shy boy around new people, and Libby is so understanding and caring. Mission looks forward to more time with Libby and her pups.”

“Cody was so friendly and absolutely wonderful to work with! He helped us with a last-minute request, was very responsive and flexible the whole stay, and sent lots of updates! My dog had a great time playing with the other pups! We will definitely use Cody again!”

“My babies came home fully intact! No parts missing lol! Jessica was a great host for my children. She sent updates throughout the day along with photographs. From the moment I dropped them off I was confident I had chosen the right person for the task. She is a pleasant human with a big heart. Yep, my babies came home just as I dropped them off, happy and all parts intact! Thank you Jessica!”

About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. I have a large beautiful fenced yard, have multiple crates for use and live within walking distance of a dog park. I have kids that will make sure your dog gets lots of love while being boarded.
“I appreciate Riley for taking in Bailey at the last minute. She was kind and kept me informed. Bailey was feeling a bit anxious and she was able to calm her down. Can't thank her enough for helping us out.”

About: Hey there, my name is Holly and I love working with dogs. I have spent the last 10 plus years working with dogs at a local doggie day care facility. While working there I obtained a lot of knowledge and eventually earned a position as a supervisor and managed new hires on how to work dog day care yards. During my time I gained a lot of valuable insight on dog behavior while working in the dog day care yard. I also have owned as many as three dogs at one time. I have hosted several of my friend's dogs for overnight stays along with my own dogs and I would just love the opportunity to give them the best care and love a dog could desire. I have a passion for fur babies and treat them as if they are my own. I have a special relationship with my veterinarian and I have experience in giving dog medication if necessary. I am conveniently located to my personal veterinarian and other veterinarians as well as a emergency vet in the event your fur baby suddenly becomes ill. Having owned numerous dogs over my lifetime I am keenly aware of what it takes to attend to senior dogs. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for a comfortable walk on a leash and potty breaks. I am currently retired and available to baby sit your fur baby anytime including weekdays/nights, weekends, and holidays. About: I currently have two rescue cats (Lewis & Clark) who run the place, and before adopting them I grew up with just about every kind of pet imaginable—dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, and a few others along the way. While I'm a proud cat mom, I absolutely love dogs too! My current place isn't quite big enough for one of my own, so getting to spend time with other people's pups is the next best thing. Whether your pet loves long walks, endless games of fetch, playing with cat toys, or simply having someone to keep them company, I am happy to do it all. My schedule is very open, allowing me to accommodate a variety of drop-in visits throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, playtime, or a little extra company, I'm happy to work around their routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. During every drop-in visit, I'll make sure your pet has everything they need, whether that's fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, playtime, medication (if needed), or simply some extra love and attention. I know every pet has their own routine and personality, so I'll always follow your instructions carefully to help them feel as comfortable as possible. I also love to send photos and updates!

About: I've taken care of family pets and neighbors' dogs for several years, as well as cats and fish. I have experience with the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and my own dog for three years. I'm available and flexible, so I'm ready to help out whenever you and your furry friend need me! When I'm not helping with neighborhood pets, you'll likely see me and my dog out for walks or training. I believe in meeting dogs where they are at by responding to their energy levels. That may mean making sure they are comfortable during stressful situations or jumping in to play at higher energy times! My primary goal is to make sure they are safe and set up for success when you are not at home, so I am happy to employ specific care instructions. No two dogs are the same!
“Macy is so kind and thoughtful and clearly great with our pup, Marjorie. I would happily recommend anyone booking with her, and we’ll definitely be reaching out for any future Rover needs!”

About: What sets me apart is my calm, reliable approach and my ability to tailor care to each pet’s unique needs. I have experience with puppies, including basic training reinforcement (potty routines, leash manners, crate comfort, and positive reinforcement), as well as senior pets who may need extra patience, gentle handling, medication reminders, and close monitoring. I’m attentive to routines, quick to notice changes in behavior or health, and I prioritize clear communication with owners, regular updates, photos, and notes so you always feel at ease. Whether it’s high-energy play, slow senior strolls, or maintaining training consistency, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m an online college student at Jefferson State, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my classes and coursework around pet care responsibilities. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide consistent attention, timely potty breaks, feeding on schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. This flexibility is especially helpful for puppies who need frequent check ins and senior pets who benefit from routine and supervision. I structure my study time around the pets in my care rather than the other way around, so their needs always come first. This setup allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully present for the pets I’m caring for throughout the week. I provide attentive, individualized care with pets that are in my client’s home, and I always follow the routine and preferences you set. In my client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I stick closely to their normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I make sure litter boxes, yards, and feeding areas stay clean, administer medications if needed, and give plenty of affection and enrichment. I also keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health and provide regular updates with photos and notes.
“Gracie is a fantastic Rover! She is very pleasant to work with and even helped me out last minute for a quick drop in to feed my four legged furry friend. Doesn’t disappoint with her walks either. She goes the distance to get your dog some good exercise! Will use as long as she around!”

“Courtney was great with my furbaby. She was timely, professional, kind, dependable, and took good care of my baby on his walks. We look forward to working with her again soon. Great job!!!”

About: I grew up with a cat of 14 years and later my family adopted a husky which stole our hearts! Since, I have cared for not only my sisters set of 2 beautiful golden retrievers since they were brought home but other dogs of clients and I currently live with a cat! I am currently a 4th year medical student at UAB. My clinical rotation schedule currently is extremely light for the month of February I after 12 PM. And through March April in the first half of May, I am pretty much fully free. Under my care, pets will be brought outside for a potty breaks or a walk only on a safe leash. No dogs will be brought anywhere near roads or construction where they could get injured.
About: I’ve always had cats, and usually they were strays that we took in. As a teenager, I would pet sit for my neighbors frequently when they were out of town- cats and dogs! I had two dogs growing up. Now as an adult, I have 2 cats of my own, Sinclair (5yo male) and Petal (1yo female)! For most of June and July I will be free week days and weekends! Starting in August, I will be available in afternoons and on weekends. I am willing to spend time with your cats and dogs, play with them however needed, and I can take your dogs on long walks!
About: I look forward to spending time with every animal that I care for! Ever since losing my own dog in 2020, nothing brings me more joy than being able to care for and love on others' pets! I love going for walks or just sitting and spending quality time with pets. I am a college student so my schedule tends to fluctuate! However, I usually have availability that those with other jobs may not! I tend to do lunch time visits or overnight visits for pet care. I am open to any and all of your pet care needs! I care for pets as if they were my own. If I stay at someone's house, I abide by their household rules and make sure to keep their pets on schedule. Pets are my priority!
About: I am very passionate about keeping your pet safe and active. I have a very flexible schedule and can even take your animal to parks, appointments, or just for car rides. I have a very flexible schedule and can help be apart of walking your pet. I am very active myself so I can also help burn some of your pets energy! I provide attentive, reliable care in my home or in my client’s home, following each pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable, safe, and happy.

About: I have had multiple dogs growing up I do have a dog right now and I have dog sat my aunts dog while leaves. Dogs and children are the two things I really love in this world and I feel that I know how to care for them as they are my own. I a pretty free after 12 during the weekdays and on the weekend I am very free to do what ever needs to be done. I have a lot of time to spare and spend with dogs rather that be a nice long walk like I do with my dog everyday or just playing with for a while. I live in an apartment with my own dog but I have plenty of space for them to play and keep each other company. If you dog does require a crate I have enough space for that and have a nice trail and a park next to my apartment for me to walk them around.
About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

“Our boy loved his time with Harold. We appreciate that Harold has a calm demeanor which is helpful for anxious pups. Harold was great about sending us photos and keeping us updated on how Max was doing. The communication was much appreciated and we highly recommend Harold.”

“Kaitlyn was so great, respectful, & friendly! She is very resourceful, a problem solver, & an amazing communicator! My puppy is such a timid one but she adjusted so well and had such a great time! Definitely would recommend & book with her again 😊”
