About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was #1 dog sitter for about 5-6 neighbors through high school and college. I’ve taken care of many other dogs and cats as well. As a current medical student, I wish I could have my own dog but the time and finances won’t allow until I graduate. So for now, I can help take care of your pets and you can help me get my snuggle fix in! As a medical student, my schedule is often changing. I do have most evenings and weekends free for studying and I could always use a study partner or walk break! About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. About: I’ve spent the last 3-4 years working remote and with my own dogs. I started dog sitting for for friends for a few hours, overnight, and for longer periods of time. There’s even the option of letting them play with my Aussies if the owner would like that. I work from home full time. Depending on location, I may be able to do morning or afternoon walks. Evenings and weekends have the most availability for me at the moment. I would prefer to care for the pet in the clients home. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“Great communication and was amazing with my dogs! My husky is usually very stubborn and doesn’t eat much when I’m not around, but he did this time. It was also my puppy’s first time away from me and it went so well. I also loved that there was a huge backyard for my boys to run around in, so they were nice and tired as I unpacked from my trip. “Adele exceeded all of our expectations. First she was punctual in always responding to our texts or emails, always within minutes. Regarding the caring of our Cavapoo, Shadow we could absolutely not have been happier or found a better person to have left her with. She is calm, soft spoken and obviously loves animals. Shadow bonded with her immediately and I don't think was ever lacking for attention!! Everyday we received daily updates and photos of their activities. It seems that she actually took Shadow somewhere everyday, whether it be to the park, the Nature center or somewhere....Shadow I don't think was ever bored or definitely never lacking for attention. After seeing all the fun times and activities that she and Adele shared we were concerned she would not want to come home with us!!! The most important point we would like to make is that we will definitely want Adele to keep her on any of our future trips, and know that if you used her you will feel the same about this adorable and kind young lady.”
“Our pup loves spending the day at Barrie’s! Her tail wags when we hop out of the car and she sees where we are. Barrie often has other dogs but stays attentive to them and ensures everyone is getting along. She keeps us updated with pictures. Would suggest her for overnight boarding to anyone with a pup.”
“My dogs had the BEST time with Lawden! I have two large Goldendoodles. One is old with cancer and the other is a wild puppy, but she took great care of both of them. She gave meds twice a day, fed twice a day, played with them, and sent a nightly update with pictures. I am so thankful that our dogs were well cared for. I highly recommend Lawden!”
