About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was #1 dog sitter for about 5-6 neighbors through high school and college. I’ve taken care of many other dogs and cats as well. As a current medical student, I wish I could have my own dog but the time and finances won’t allow until I graduate. So for now, I can help take care of your pets and you can help me get my snuggle fix in! As a medical student, my schedule is often changing. I do have most evenings and weekends free for studying and I could always use a study partner or walk break! School is priority - but I will do my best to work with your schedule as well as my class schedule! I do currently live in an apartment, so boarding pets in my home is not a great option. About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. About: I’ve always been the friend people call when they need someone to care for their pets! I’ve raised a dog from puppyhood and adopted and cared for a senior dog, so I’m comfortable with every stage of life. Over the years, I’ve been a repeat dog and cat sitter and walker for countless friends and family—including house sitting for over a month. I am also a Doctor (resident physician) at Baptist Health, so responsibility, attention to detail, and caring for others are a big part of my everyday life. I specifically offer Rover during lighter months when I’m home most of the day; when I do go into work, I’m typically only away for 2–3 hours at a time. I’m comfortable with medications and detailed care instructions, attentive to when something seems off, and calm in unexpected situations. One of my closest friends is also a veterinarian, giving me a trusted resource when needed. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and treat other people’s pets the way I’d want someone to treat my own. If you furry friend stays with me, they will also meet Zeus, my 10-year-old neutered pug and professional co-pet-sitter. He’s incredibly laid-back, patient, and unfazed by just about everything—I have never even heard him bark! He loves dogs and cats, has helped me host many pets over the years, and mostly just does his own thing while providing some quiet companionship. Whether you have an energetic puppy, a laid-back dog, or a cat who runs the household, I’m at your bark and call! 🐾 As I mentioned, I’m a doctor at Baptist Health. I specifically offer Rover during lighter months when I am at home most of the day. When I do go into work during these months, I’m typically only away for 2–3 hours at a time. I want your pet to feel as comfortable and secure as possible, so I’m happy to follow whatever routine they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate time, sleeping habits, and all their little quirks! I’m attentive and responsible, and I never take the trust of caring for someone’s pet or home lightly. If you’re hiring me to host your doggo, I live in a condo right by Railroad Park and just a block from Rotary Trail, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time throughout the day. My mom also lives only five minutes away and has a large, beautiful fenced-in yard that we can visit for some extra space to play and explore. At home, my calm senior pug Zeus is around for company but is very content to do his own thing. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and prioritize keeping their normal routine. I will also send plenty of photos and updates so you always know how they’re doing!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kiddo! Dogs and cats. I had my maltipoo, Georgie, for 18 years. I had my cowboy corgi, Squeaks, for 4 years and just recently lost him due to cancer. He is missed very much. My work schedule is very flexible. I work from home and usually within an hour of Birmingham. Rarely travel out of town. I make my own schedule. My latest pup, Squeaks, had cancer. He was on a holistic journey from July to Thanksgiving. He was on all natural supplements and I also cooked his food fresh every week. Ground turkey, sweet potatoes and veggies. Unfortunately, his Tumor had progressed and I had to make the best decision for him a few weeks ago.
About: I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, whether that’s helping reinforce basic training and potty routines or being extra patient with older dogs and any special care they need. I also bring over 10+ years of babysitting experience, so being patient, attentive, and dependable is second nature to me. That same level of care and responsibility carries over into how I treat your pets. I am currently a graduate student at the University of South Alabama. Other than class, I have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to accommodate morning, midday, and evening care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions you leave, including medications or special care. I’m respectful of your space and make sure your home stays clean and secure while you’re away. I also spend quality time with your pet. Whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, so they’re not just being “checked on,” but actually cared for.
