About: I have grown up always having a pet in the house so I very quickly found a love for animals, specifically dogs. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I grew up with many dogs and started pet sitting for family members and friends once I was able to drive. I tend to bring pet treats (usually raw diet) and/or toys to soften the fur babies up so please let me know any dietary restrictions. My schedule is typically empty after 2 as I can squeeze in the gym at anytime. About: I have lived with cats my entire life and currently own five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats. I have college in the mornings Monday through Thursday, but I'm free the rest of the time. If there are any sudden inconveniences with schedule then I will notify as soon as possible. About: I am a trainer and a manger at a boarding and daycare place and have years of professional experience in caring for loved pets. I can work with older dogs, medicated dogs and other extra care situations. I have a fenced-in back yard plus a dog park across the street (which I will only take dogs if owners approve).
