“Tatiana went above and beyond taking care of my fur baby! I received lots of photos each night she is was with her. She was also excellent and prompt with any and all communications. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Ashley was awesome with our two Boxer girls! Mags and Su had a blast playing in the big fenced back yard & with her pup and senior Boxer. I honestly think Su is going to have separation anxiety from Freya, she loved playing with her so much!! Ashley sent daily updates with photos/videos. We would highly recommend, especially if you have a Boxer, trusting Ashley with your fur babes!”

“Danielle is the absolute best, and I’ll hear nothing to the contrary. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”

“Barrie is just plain awesome. She loved our dog at least as much as we do. She sent updates and pics and I had zero doubt they my dog would come home a better dog. Sam loves to go for walks and Barrie gave her plenty of that! Can't say enough about what a great experience this was for Sammy....and us...I did not worry a second about her! Thanks for being a rockstar Barrie!”

“Harold was so great!! Had a last minute need for some help with my pup, and so glad I chose Harold! Extremely accommodating for my GSP after a move from VA to BHM. Wasn’t ideal but Harold gave me the peace of mind (and CONSTANT updates) that helped me and my dog transition a semi-cross county move. 10/10 recommend.”

About: I have had pets since I was 5 years old and with my degree and career background in veterinary medicine, best believe your pets will be safe and taken care of while also being treated like family. I’m available after 2:30pm everyday and my days are completely open on the weekends. If I need to stop by in the early morning, I can as well. Pets will be loved on, walked, fed, and receive intimate quality time. I have two needy dogs myself so I completely understand the anxiety that can come with pets being alone so I will make sure to make them feel safe and provided for.
“As usual, Ray was a fantastic host and the periodic picture and video updates of the pup’s stay are still one of my fav things that Ray does extremely well!!! 5 starts aren’t enough. 🙂”

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She let me book my dog Mickey when it was very last minute and sent several updates while she was there. Would definitely use Sarah again and would highly recommend to anyone needing her services. Thank you again, Sarah! Mick sure did enjoy her vacay! :)”

“Kelsey was great with Dexter. He made himself right at home during his first stay with Kelsey and her pups. She kept us updated and sent pictures throughout the week. Will be rebooking with Kelsey.”

“Corlaeja really came through for me and Billy. It was a very last minute booking, and she was not only able to do it, she did it exceptionally well. My boy—who is a brat—looked happy and healthy in every photograph she sent (and she sent regular photographs). And, of course, he came back to me the same way I left him. I will definitely look to rebook with her the next time there is an opportunity. Thanks again!”

“Another wonderful stay with Jessica! She treats my puppy like her own. We are so grateful for her updates throughout our trip and the detailed report she provides when we return home. She’s the best and has a lovely home full of love and toys.”

“Brittney was wonderful! She took such good care of our pup and updated me daily! It's so hard to leave her, but Brittney put me at such ease! Our pup had a wonderful time! I will definitely be reaching out to Brittney again! Thanks Brittney!”

“I came to Birmingham for a wedding during NYE weekend and Laderius and his family were so accommodating and helpful. I put in the request really last minute but while speaking with them they had no problem watching my little on Karter. I’m always nervous leaving him but they sent pictures and were extremely welcoming. Whenever I’m back in town, I most definitely will contact them again.”

“Rebecca was amazing with Brooklyn. They connected instantly! She kept us updated during Brooklyn’s stay and was very accommodating when we had to pickup later than planned. Totally appreciated her!”

About: My husband and I have grown up with various dog breeds, different sizes, different ages, & different personalities. And we love them all! I have the position to be with them all day & night. With owner's permission we have a fenced in dog park for them to play and potty! I currently work remote, therefore I am able to be with them throughout the day/night. Plenty of opportunities to potty, eat, drink, snuggle, and play! My husband and I leave in a two story townhouse. We have two friendly dogs ages 8 & 5 and would love to have a buddy! We have a walking path to walk. We have a fenced in dog park very close to our home.

Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
