“Amy was wonderful with our two dogs! She very clearly spoiled them. I can tell by the pictures that they had a great time. Especially out in the back yard! She was also very accommodating with our schedule which was very much appreciated!”

“Tatiana went above and beyond taking care of my fur baby! I received lots of photos each night she is was with her. She was also excellent and prompt with any and all communications. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Ashley was awesome with our two Boxer girls! Mags and Su had a blast playing in the big fenced back yard & with her pup and senior Boxer. I honestly think Su is going to have separation anxiety from Freya, she loved playing with her so much!! Ashley sent daily updates with photos/videos. We would highly recommend, especially if you have a Boxer, trusting Ashley with your fur babes!”

“Danielle is the absolute best, and I’ll hear nothing to the contrary. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”

“Barrie is just plain awesome. She loved our dog at least as much as we do. She sent updates and pics and I had zero doubt they my dog would come home a better dog. Sam loves to go for walks and Barrie gave her plenty of that! Can't say enough about what a great experience this was for Sammy....and us...I did not worry a second about her! Thanks for being a rockstar Barrie!”

“Harold was so great!! Had a last minute need for some help with my pup, and so glad I chose Harold! Extremely accommodating for my GSP after a move from VA to BHM. Wasn’t ideal but Harold gave me the peace of mind (and CONSTANT updates) that helped me and my dog transition a semi-cross county move. 10/10 recommend.”

About: I have had pets since I was 5 years old and with my degree and career background in veterinary medicine, best believe your pets will be safe and taken care of while also being treated like family. I’m available after 2:30pm everyday and my days are completely open on the weekends. If I need to stop by in the early morning, I can as well. Pets will be loved on, walked, fed, and receive intimate quality time. I have two needy dogs myself so I completely understand the anxiety that can come with pets being alone so I will make sure to make them feel safe and provided for.
“As usual, Ray was a fantastic host and the periodic picture and video updates of the pup’s stay are still one of my fav things that Ray does extremely well!!! 5 starts aren’t enough. 🙂”

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She let me book my dog Mickey when it was very last minute and sent several updates while she was there. Would definitely use Sarah again and would highly recommend to anyone needing her services. Thank you again, Sarah! Mick sure did enjoy her vacay! :)”

“Kelsey was great with Dexter. He made himself right at home during his first stay with Kelsey and her pups. She kept us updated and sent pictures throughout the week. Will be rebooking with Kelsey.”

“Corlaeja really came through for me and Billy. It was a very last minute booking, and she was not only able to do it, she did it exceptionally well. My boy—who is a brat—looked happy and healthy in every photograph she sent (and she sent regular photographs). And, of course, he came back to me the same way I left him. I will definitely look to rebook with her the next time there is an opportunity. Thanks again!”

“Kaitlyn is one of the best sitters on Rover! She is so kind and accommodating. She let me know what was going on with my dog, and I had no concerns about Chloe’s safety. She even sent us home with a little gift. I highly recommend using Kaitlyn for all pet sitting needs 🖤”

“Another wonderful stay with Jessica! She treats my puppy like her own. We are so grateful for her updates throughout our trip and the detailed report she provides when we return home. She’s the best and has a lovely home full of love and toys.”

“Brittney was wonderful! She took such good care of our pup and updated me daily! It's so hard to leave her, but Brittney put me at such ease! Our pup had a wonderful time! I will definitely be reaching out to Brittney again! Thanks Brittney!”

“I came to Birmingham for a wedding during NYE weekend and Laderius and his family were so accommodating and helpful. I put in the request really last minute but while speaking with them they had no problem watching my little on Karter. I’m always nervous leaving him but they sent pictures and were extremely welcoming. Whenever I’m back in town, I most definitely will contact them again.”

“Rebecca was amazing with Brooklyn. They connected instantly! She kept us updated during Brooklyn’s stay and was very accommodating when we had to pickup later than planned. Totally appreciated her!”

“Leah has been so wonderful with my kitten. He is typically shy- and he warmed up to her almost instantly. She has communicates constantly and provides many photos. Will def be using her again!! :)”

“Steven was great with communication during each of his check-ins on our dog. He always took several pictures and was very intentional about bonding with our dog instead of just doing the tasks I had listed for him. We will definitely be using him again.”

“Leah was incredibly communicative while watching our cat! I could tell that she really spent time with her and took care of her while we were gone! Would definitely rebook and recommend!”

“Susan was a very good pet sitter! She left many pictures and videos of her not just playing, but cuddling and enjoying being with my cat. She also left a hand written note, which was just lovely to return to. I will rebook with her whenever I need a sitter again. 10/10.”

“Amy did a stellar job taking care of my two cats this past weekend!! She made sure they were well fed, had plenty of water, and that their boxes were clean. They warmed up to her quickly and I think seeing her each day lifted their little spirits. I can’t wait to book her again (:”

“Cam is wonderful and I highly recommend her! She took great care of our two kitties while we were away. Her updates with photos were thorough and allowed us to feel completely at ease knowing our cats were in good hands. Such a great experience!”

“Sass did an excellent job taking care of our 2 cats! She was able to get 3 meds into our cat with her creative food mixtures! We recommend her highly and will use her again!”

“Frankie took the best care of my kitty!! 🐈⬛ This was the longest I had left my boy and felt deep relief knowing my cat was getting regular check ins and so much attention from Frankie. Book Frankie - a thorough, kind, and communicative sitter”

“Britiany took GREAT care of our sweet kitty boys while we were gone for the weekend. She was very detail oriented and left report cards of each of her visits and sent us pictures of our fluffy boys. She took extra time to play with them and try to wear them out before the 4th of July fireworks got started, so hopefully our kitty who’s afraid of storms would be too tied to care! So very kind and thoughtful! We will definitely book Britiany again in the future!”

“Absolutely thrilled with Sarah and the care my cat received. Sarah is attentive, reliable, and clearly has this natural way with animals - Django doesn’t warm up to just anyone, but from what I could see he was purring like a tractor in no time. Top tier service from someone with an equally top tier presence - something important when looking for someone to care for your fur baby. Would highly recommend Sarah to anyone needing a high level of professionalism and care, and I will certainly be a returning.”

“We’ve used Piper multiple times before for cat sitting, and now she’s always our first pick to cat sit when we’re out of town. She takes great care of our cat, communicates well, and takes awesome pictures!”
“So glad Sarah was available for my last minute holiday request! She spent time hanging out with my cats and making them comfortable, giving me full updates with lots of pictures! I’m very grateful!”

“Megan is always a gem. Very reliable, great at figuring what my cats need. She is good with my shy cats and willing to put in the hard work when needed. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter.”

About: I was raised with cats and grown to love them I ended up with 5 at one point. A mom & her babies we rescued. They lived a long and happy life. The only sad part of loving these babies is they don’t live long enough.

About: I have never been without a cat my entire life. I've adopted elderly cats (see profile picture, Helen) to love them in their golden years, I've had one leave us way too soon. My current cat, Dickens, is going on 14 years with me; He and I are loving every minute! I'm pretty quick to small/catch accidents and clean thoroughly if needed. Scoopin' poop doesn't scare me, either!

About: I have owned a cat since I was 6 years old. I love cats and know how hard it is to find a sitter who loves cats that as much as you! I am trustworthy and can provide excellent care to your purr baby while you are away!

“Loralyn was wonderful to work with. She is professional and kind. My cat takes oral medication and she handled it with ease. I would recommend her and will definitely book her again!”

“Amy has been watching Greta, my very active GSP puppy, these past couple of weeks and so far it has been great. She has a dog and a toddler that gets plenty of interaction with our puppy and Greta is always happy to go back to see her new friends. I am very appreciative of Amy’s willingness to work with our busy schedules that fluctuate for drop off and pick up.”

About: As someone who has had pets in the home for as long as I can remember, I know it is important for them to be in a loving, patient, and attentive environment and I thrive in providing environments that are such! I work from home and I’m a SAHM, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and supervision throughout the day. I have a large fenced in backyard and only two cats inside the home. I make sure that the pets that I care for have enough space of their own but are also attended to closely.

About: I grew up with dogs and truly can’t imagine life without them (no offense to my cat people 🥰). Caring for dogs has always come naturally to me—I love learning their personalities, reading their cues, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I’ve cared for everything from small breeds to extra-large pups like Great Danes, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and needs. I’m especially attentive to details—whether that’s sticking to routines, administering medications if needed, or simply making sure your dog gets plenty of attention and affection. I’m also someone who genuinely enjoys spoiling pups (in the best way!). I’m very responsive and prioritize regular updates and photos so you always have peace of mind while you’re away. I love being active and spending time outdoors, so walks and playtime are something I truly enjoy—not just a task to check off. About: Hey there, my name is Holly and I love working with dogs. I have spent the last 10 plus years working with dogs at a local doggie day care facility. While working there I obtained a lot of knowledge and eventually earned a position as a supervisor and managed new hires on how to work dog day care yards. During my time I gained a lot of valuable insight on dog behavior while working in the dog day care yard. I also have owned as many as three dogs at one time. I have hosted several of my friend's dogs for overnight stays along with my own dogs and I would just love the opportunity to give them the best care and love a dog could desire. I have a passion for fur babies and treat them as if they are my own. I have a special relationship with my veterinarian and I have experience in giving dog medication if necessary. I am conveniently located to my personal veterinarian and other veterinarians as well as a emergency vet in the event your fur baby suddenly becomes ill. Having owned numerous dogs over my lifetime I am keenly aware of what it takes to attend to senior dogs. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for a comfortable walk on a leash and potty breaks. I am currently retired and available to baby sit your fur baby anytime including weekdays/nights, weekends, and holidays. I am flexible and willing to accommodate your fur baby's needs along side my own fur baby, Pinkie. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for a comfortable walk on a leash and potty breaks along with my fur baby, Pinkie for company and companionship. I am all about creature comforts and whatever your baby is used to for the best experience. Your baby is more than welcome to lay on the couch, sleep in my bed or can be crated if that is what they enjoy the most. I also offer Dog TV for viewing pleasure. You can expect lot's of cuddle time, potty breaks, walks, treats and toys to play with but most of all LOVE. I also have a habit of sending video's and pictures of your baby while you are away.

“I appreciate Riley for taking in Bailey at the last minute. She was kind and kept me informed. Bailey was feeling a bit anxious and she was able to calm her down. Can't thank her enough for helping us out.”

I'm a strong believer of leaving places better than I found them so I love to tidy up to help your day be a little easier!
“I LOVE JESSICA! She is so sweet and very informative! I think Jojo and I both look forward to seeing her every morning. I will definitely book with her every chance we can.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life until five years ago. I live in a small apartment (Cahaba Heights ) . I am currently retired with plenty of time. I am retired and have plenty of time to care for and enjoy your precious dog. I will care for your pet as if he/she were my own. I will enjoy being around dogs again!. I will follow explicit instructions to keep your pet safe happy and comfortable. And it will be my pleasure.
About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! I’d love to share a moment of your lives with a walk or overnight, and I’ll treat them like family — only better. :) I am available Monday-Sunday. There are many parks and we walk several times a day and play on- and off-leash. Basically, my two dogs are my life right now so I thought I’d try this to have something to do! I have a two-bedroom apartment but one is devoted to the dogs and there is extra space in my master room if dogs don’t need to sleep together. While I only have a balcony, it is good enough for my dogs to sunbathe on and stare at passersby. Additionally, there are many parks nearby and we walk several times a day and play, off- and on-leash available. I’m open for questions. I’d love to have your pet to add to my life while I pursue stand up comedy.
About: I have had a dog my entire life since I was 3. I love them very much and take very good care of them. Like they need. I have a fenced in yard, and 2 of my own dogs who are very active but also very caring. There will be lots of play time and dog cuddles available.
“Vanilla, our dog, and I had a excellent experience with Angelika. She was very tentative to Vanilla right away, communicated with me throughout the day, sent me pictures, and I know that Vanilla, our senior dog, was in awesome hands. 👌”

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.
“Tatiana is amazing! Zeus is in love. He recognizes her car and runs to the door to greet her, excited for his walk. She tires him out enough for him to settle down so I can work without having a bored puppy underfoot. Will request her again.”

About: I’ve had multiple pets for multiple years. I’ve fostered, rescued, rehabbed, and taken care of multiple dogs at a time for multiple years. They have a wide range of personalities, needs, and interests. I’ve worked with aggressive, resource-protective, calm, and medically needing dogs. I’m capable and equipped to take care of them and help your home function well! I’m a business owner with a very flexible schedule. I can usually be available quickly and last minute if needed. I also can handle large stretches of days and time brackets. I create an environment for my visits that are curated too what your pets are most comfortable with. That being said I love to get to know what makes your pet comfortable and help to emulate the kind of routine that helps them not miss a beat of their routine!
About: **Privately Insured for Peace of Mind** I've been pet sitting since childhood for all kinds of pets. My care experience has even involved small mammals, piglets, arthropods, and repitlies. I particularly enjoy working with shy and anxious dogs and cats. As a sitter, I pay attention to the details, such as pet body language and making sure food and water bowls are cleaned, and I am diligent in keeping pets out of potentially dangerous situations. Overnight dog sits include at least one walk a day unless otherwise specified or the weather prevents it, in which case indoor playtime will be had instead. I am comfortable administering medications, including injections. I am avaliable for constant care overnights (no leaving the dog(s) alone) for an additional fee. I am self-employed, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am avaliable for constant care for an additional rate. Most of my exercise comes from walking dogs, so I am more than happy to take the long route if your pooch is up for it! I am very careful with your pets, avoiding encounters with unfamiliar dogs or people to avoid conflicts. My food is never within reach, and I pride myself on keeping your home clean and ready for your return.
About: I have over 20 years experience with helping friends and family take care of their furry loved ones while they are out of town, as well as growing up with several pets, and now have 2 rescues of my own, Daryl is a 9 year old rescue from Shelby County Humane Society and Freddy a 1 year old rescue from First Circle Rescue with elbow dysplasia in both arms, both are blue heeler mixes and are quite the handful but I love every minute ! I have received professional training and certification in dog walking by Three Dimensional Dog as well as being certified in Dog and Cat First Aid by the American Red Cross. I volunteer with Shelby County Humane society where I found Daryl as well as the Birmingham Zoo. I have experience helping with all ages of dogs and cats from puppy up to senior dogs as well as having experience with administering and watching over dogs taking oral meds with sedating effects. I’ve got rabbit experience as well ! I work a regular desk job with a hybrid working schedule working remotely and in office, I’m completely free on the weekends so I will have plenty of time to come check on your pets ❤️ I am very flexible and can come to your house as often as needed for house and pet sitting as often as you need someone to come by
About: Hi! I’m Danielle. I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life and have been pet-sitting for about 17 years. I also grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always just been part of my day-to-day life. I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot. I keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside and make sure they’re always safe and comfortable.

I cared for many dogs while in Tuscaloosa for college. I have since moved to Birmingham and become a NICU nurse! No matter what your baby needs, I’m here!! I am a full time nurse so my schedule varies! I typically work 3 days a week, so depending on the week I will be available different days! I love to be active and love to run around with energetic dogs as well as give love to the cuddly dogs! I base my approach based on the dogs needs, every baby is different!
“Nichole was incredibly patient with my dog Mabel! Mabel can be really timid and scared of new people, and Nichole didn't force Mabel to go a walk when Mabel opted to stay in her kennel. Highly recommend and will be using again in the future!”

“Leah was amazing! She was quick to respond and able to fit us into her busy schedule last minute. Our puppy, Willow, loved Leah from the start. Leah made sure to care for Willow as her own and give us many updates and pictures. I could not recommend Leah enough!”

I work as a full time in-home social worker but my schedule is flexible. My days consist of driving around town so if I need to stop by your home midday, that’s an option. I can also flex my work hours which would allow me to stop by in the mornings or evenings as well. I’m often fully available on weekends. I live in a medium sized home with a lot of open space for play. I do not own a crate, but I do have a large spare bathroom and this is where my own rescue pets have stayed after surgeries or while adjusting to their new home. There are several barn/sliding doors in my home which allow me to section it off and allow more space/privacy as needed. I also have a fenced in backyard and live near a nature preserve so there is ample space for roaming and play.

“Rebecca was amazing with Brooklyn. They connected instantly! She kept us updated during Brooklyn’s stay and was very accommodating when we had to pickup later than planned. Totally appreciated her!”
