About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. For house sitting, I do have one requirement during the school year. I have my own friendly 4-year-old Lab mix, Maverick, who would need to come with me. He’s well socialized and enjoys other dogs, but I completely understand that this isn’t the right fit for every home. If your dog enjoys having a canine companion, I’d love to discuss whether it would be a good match during a meet and greet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. I’m happy to accommodate specific feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any other instructions that help your pet feel at home.

About: I've been caring for animals of all kinds since I was 12 years old, and for the past two years I've provided professional pet sitting for cats, dogs, and small animals. For energetic dogs, I enjoy staying active and regularly go on morning runs and afternoon walks. If your dog enjoys exercise and you're comfortable with it, I'd be happy to include them in these outings to help keep them happy and mentally stimulated. For pets that prefer a slower pace, I'm just as happy to provide leisurely walks, playtime, or plenty of companionship. In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I have three guinea pigs of my own, so I'm very familiar with the daily care and habitat maintenance that small animals require, including feeding, spot cleaning, and enclosure upkeep. My experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets has taught me that every animal has unique needs, and I'm committed to providing patient, attentive care tailored to each pet's personality and routine.

About: I have grown up with dogs and animals of all sizes my whole life! I currently have a family dog back at home in Illinois (cavachon, 6 years old) who I miss taking care of deeply. I am in med school here in Iowa city for the summer and have very flexible hours, weekends, and payment choices! As I mentioned earlier, I am an ultrasound student in Iowa City Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. I have certain days off through the week / available almost every weekend! I live at a graduate student / health care worker apartment complex with a dog park and lots of grass and greenery / walking trails all around the complex! Very animal friendly buildings. About: I’m a certified animal lover with a fur baby of my own (Henry, 9lb of quiet sweetness) that I’ve been caring for over 10 years. I own a wedding photography business that allows me to work from home 90% of my year. If I am booked on a specific day during your booking, I will let you know ahead of time so you can approve or deny the amount of hours I will be gone for that day (which can be anywhere from a 1-hour session to a full 10-hour wedding). I have experience as a dog owner, but have also spent many of my years dog and cat sitting for my friends and family. I raised and trained my parents puppy, a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix who needed lots of care to control his barking and playful nature, now 6 years old and so loving. I’m experience with a range of ages and needs, including puppies and elder animals with special care needs. I love dogs, as you can tell, and have all the time in the world to watch and play with them! I prefer dogs and cats have been handled and are used to being cared for, with no history of lashing out or biting. Whether you need me to cuddle, feed, brush, walk, or play with your pup, I'm your gal. Note: while I take a combo of meds for my dander allergy and have a high tolerance, I ask that any animals/homes with animals with high shedding be appropriately groomed and cleaned before sitting. If I stay in your home, a vacuuming or light cleaning does wonders. If your fur baby is boarded in my home, a bath or deshedding session beforehand is much appreciated. I work from home, so pet care can be a day round activity for me. If I am sitting in your home or doing check ins, I can stay or come by as frequently as needed, given availability based on any events or sessions I have previously booked. I will always communicate with pet parents about the needs for their specific fur baby. I understand all needs are unique, so aside from common sense (walks, feedings, playing), I’ll make sure to tailor their care as needed.

Laylah is an amazing pet sitter. She took care of our 13 year old shihtzu while we were out of town and he was so well taken care of by her! She was great at communicating with us, always very responsive in a timely manner. She shared videos and photos of our pup every day. She also offered to take him to the dog park and for walks, making sure he was comfortable and safe. I also appreciated Laylah’s flexibility and willingness to work with us the entire time. I needed a last minute booking and she answered and arranged things immediately. My dog seemed half and well groomed and fed when I pick him up. I also got daily updates and cute/silly photos of him. Annayah took such good care of our labradoodle while we were away for a week! We especially appreciated the responsiveness when booking as our original dog-sitting plans fell through just days before our trip. Our dog had never been away from us and he showed no signs of anxiety or stress when we picked him up, he got right back into routine at home. Teagan is AMAZING. Isabella is a complicated 4 pound Chinese Crested with a spicy personality. Typically she doesn’t take to anyone until she met Teagan. Teagan instantly knew how to interact with Isabella making her comfortable at first introduction. Teagan kept me updated with Isabella’s progress. I thought Isabella would have a meltdown but that didn’t happen. When I picked Isabella up she seemed to be aware that she achieved a major milestone-she made a friend.❤️🥹❤️ I can’t recommend Teagan enough-she’s incredible, kind, professional, smart, and intuitive. She’s our go to choice for Isabella!
I had the best experience leaving my dog in Asha's care! She went above and beyond, providing regular updates throughout the day and even sending adorable pictures so I could see how much fun my dog was having.
