I am able to care for pets starting around 10 am most days! I am able to feed and bathe pets in my clients home. I am also available to walk dogs around in local neighborhoods or trails!
About: I have been around pets pretty much my whole life. I grew up with the dog name snoophy. When I came to college I started volunteering at the animal shelter where I volunteered with cats and dogs and helped foster cats and kittens. I help friends and medical school classmates watch their dogs and cats and just love being around animals in general! I am currently a full time medical student. I can be flexible but am more open on weekends. Love going on walks and playing with pets! I enjoy spending time with pets whether it’s playing with them, going on walks, or having their companionship around. Willing to just stop by or spend time.
“Madison is a wonderful walker and caregiver! She took great care of my cat and dog and her rate is incredibly low compared to other similar services. Recommend her for sure!”

“Sarah is the first person I’ve ever asked to come visit and walk my dog. I felt so comfortable with her and I can tell my yellow lab really enjoyed time with her. She was able to help me out at the last minute which was such a stress relief as I work in the hospital and unable to leave work. I will absolutely rebook with Sarah and I strongly recommend her services.”

“Auden has been fantastic. We have an older dog who needs extra care and she is wonderful with him. Her communication and timeliness are outstanding. We know our little guy is in great hands.”

“Jason is awesome! My American Bully is 110lbs and he can make some people nervous. I broke my foot and can’t walk Mako for a bit. I was a bit nervous using Rover but Jason made me a believer. Jason loves all dogs, you can really tell. I’ll be using him often”

About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and truly love caring for them. Growing up, even before my family adopted our dog Rylee, I would often visit neighbors just to spend time playing with their dogs, and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed and felt drawn to. Once we brought Rylee home, I learned firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement when caring for a dog. I also believe verbal communication plays a big role in helping dogs feel comfortable, understood, and loved. Over time, I began dog sitting and walking for neighbors in my community. I’ve provided midday walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship, always making sure each dog feels safe and happy in their routine. As your dog sitter, my goal is to bring that same care, attention, and positivity into your home, so both you and your pet can feel relaxed and confident while you’re away. I’m currently preparing for the DAT this summer before I go back to school at the University of Iowa in the Fall. I plan to dedicate prep time for my early mornings. Therefore, I would be available to drop in for walking or anything else in mid day and evenings I would prefer to be a drop in sitter. I can ensure that I am very comfortable with walking dogs. I have provided care to private residents for dog care and babysitting, and therefore I have a great understanding every family has different needs and I’m more than willing to accommodate with any needs you have:)

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a kid and have cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve helped with everything from puppy energy to senior pets and even insulin injections for diabetic animals. I know every pet is different, and I’m patient and attentive to what your animal needs. As a fellow Iowa City local, I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust. Whether your pet needs structured walks, medication, playtime, or just extra love while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re my own!

Maria has been absolutely fantastic! I appreciate her timely updates with info and photos. She has been so flexible with my changing schedule and she has taken amazing care of my dog. I trust her wholeheartedly and I can tell my pup enjoys spending time with her. I look forward to continuing to work with her for all my dog care needs.

Sadie was excellent! She was flexible and communicated very well with us throughout the day. We are quite impressed that she invested in the need for our dogs to get outside even on one of the hottest of days this summer. We will definitely reach out to her again! Thanks Sadie!

Jeanette has been so wonderful with our little guy! He’s very nervous and has a lot of behavioral issues, but she has been so patient and kind to him, and he warmed up to her enough that he would let her pick him up and take him on walks. She has really been a blessing!
