About: I grew up with dogs and have raised 2 of my own! I currently have an active 4 y.o. boxer & have an affinity for all kinds of dogs :) I love getting to know people & their dogs. I believe dogs are very special. I am willing to do many activities with your dog to give you peace of mind while away! I’m currently unemployed and on Disability for a genetic, chronic illness. I am healthy, willing and able to be with your dog! I am very flexible but do have to work on some local medical appointments. I prefer to watch or care for your dog in your home. My dog can get territorial in my home & do not want to put either dog in that position. I also prefer to work in a home without cigarette smoke in it.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, and turtles. I also have worked as a ranch hand with large dogs and cattle for six months in Iowa. The dogs I’ve worked with have ranged from 115-pounds and energetic to 10 pounds and quiet. I’ve been dog-walking and dog-sitting on and off for 15 years and love spending time with and caring for them. I’m currently working part time as a professor so have almost unlimited flexibility when it comes to walks and pet-sitting. During the day I may have a class to teach, but these obligations usually only take about an hour. I have plenty of room in the home with the ability to section off smaller rooms and live near a large park where animals with lots of energy can join me for long walks.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 11. My first dog was a shi tzu so I’m ready to work with pets at any care level. I currently work a full time job but most of my weekends are free for house sitting. And I can fit walks into Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. I always make sure to ask questions about your pets schedule and care routine. I also make sure the pet is comfortable around me before we work together.

About: I am a medical student. I have put all of my efforts towards caring for others and their loved ones. My pet care experience first started when my family got a red-fox laboratory puppy seven years ago. It was a dream come true, something my sister and I had waited for many years. While Bhima, our puppy, was just a bundle of fun, he came with a load of responsibilities. From grooming to bathing to brushing to walking, a lot of the responsibility relied heavily on my sister and I. I hope to care for my rover pets with the same attention to detail, love, and affection, as I have been caring for Bhima over the last four years. I am very active, flexible, and outgoing. I’d love to hear from you and get to know you and your pet! I am available for dog walks during the evenings and weekends! I am flexible based on the needs of the pet, but will need to work around my class schedule! Your pet would be accompanied by my own in my home. I make sure that the environment the pet stays in is safe and comfortable for the pet, and am willing to accommodate any changes that will make the pet more comfortable. I also have a yard that the pet can play in in addition to any walks that I will take the pet on.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting for years, mostly with large dogs and a few cats ranging through all ages, though I’m new to using Rover! I love connecting with animals and tend to make friends with every pet I meet. I also have a mini poodle of my own, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is in caring hands. Pet-sitting is something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every animal like family. I am on summer break home from college. So my days are almost completely free. I work Thursday mornings at a restaurant, but that’s it. My days are already filled with driving from LeClaire all the way to Davenport visiting friends and family or running errands. Fitting in a visit to your pet would be my priority and easily done. My Own dog is yard trained and extremely friendly (she doesn’t bite, she’s yard trained, She doesn’t have accidents in the house, She’s very submissive and friendly to other dogs, and rarely even barks). I spent a lot of my time playing with my dog, taking her on walks and I would do the same for any other animal. besides getting a dog it’s activity in, I also love cuddles and giving pets to the dogs and cats.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a freshman in high school. I have 5 of my own dogs which is a lot of work but has helped grow my experience. I’m a college student working part time and majority of my classes are online. I’ve got a lot of time on my hands if you need me to check in or stay over. I make sure your dog is safe and happy while also following the list of instructions given by you. If you need me to stay over I can maintain a clean environment

About: I have had many family dogs in the past. I have also provided dog care for neighbors and friends throughout the years. I love dog walking and getting outside! I will follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), potty breaks, playtime, and bedtime routines. About: Since the age of 10 I have been taking care of three cats in total at my parents house! This includes cleaning out the litter box, feeding, and playing/engaging with them all while in a loving and caring environment. Additionally, I have catsat for my neighbors adorable kitty for weeks at a time. My daily visits to her house consisted of me cleaning the litter box and feeding and playing with the kitty. Although my experience with dogs is more limited, I have a true affinity for any and all animals and I feel, along with my work ethic and adeptness, these many years of taking care of cats will translate over to the dog world! I am a full time college student with pockets of free time during most days of the week, primarily in the late afternoon and evening time, and on the weekends throughout the day. I care for pets in a clients home by providing a loving and caring environment for the animal, as well as matching the energy of the pet so their needs care be met. This could include playing with the pet or going on walks when their energy levels are high, or relaxing and enjoying each others company by just chilling on the couch. Additionally, when the animal signals that they need to relieve themselves I am quick to pick up on this and will provide the animal the opportunity to do this, cleaning up after them when they are finished.

About: I've had dogs of my own my whole life. I have cared for a variety of dogs such as administering to my neighbors diabetic dog to caring for my own 100 pound doberman pincher. About: I love meeting and hanging out with pets. I’ve always wanted a dog growing up but never got one. However, my sister has now gotten her own pup, and I’m the happiest aunt! Would be a lovely break during the day! Also, I prefer notice in advance, but sometimes my calendar has gaps and could possibly accept day of :) I can check their water and food. I can open/close shades, doors, etc. If they watch TV, I can make sure it’s playing or change it, etc. They can get play time!
