About: I have had and cared for pets most my life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and other rodents. I currently simultaneously take care of a black lab and border collie frequently. I am recently retired and have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I care for a black lab and a border collie on a regular basis, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs that need both physical activity and attention. Walks, playtime, and keeping them on their routine are a natural part of their care. I’ve also cared for cats, rabbits, and other small animals, so I understand that each pet has different needs—whether that’s active play, quiet companionship, or simply a calm, consistent presence. Making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy fits seamlessly into my everyday life. I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment, whether in my home or a client’s home, and I follow routines and instructions closely to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, exercise, and any special care. In my home, pets receive close supervision, structure, and plenty of attention. I stay alert to behavior and surroundings to ensure pets are safe at all times. My goal is dependable, attentive care so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.

About: Need a sitter who actually plays and takes care of your pet? We are your guys! We have been taking care of pets our whole lives! Your pet will not be neglected, even if that means we need to join in on the zoomies! Not to mention, you will get two very experienced sitters for the price of one! We both work part-time making it easy for us to be with your pet for half the day if not more on days we don’t work! We have stayed about customers houses to watch their pup while they were away. In doing that, we walk the dogs (if they would like to be walked), we play with them to help get all their energy out so when their owner does come home they have a much more relaxed environment. We both have pets at home! And have been pet sitters for multiple people over the years. We just wanted to take our expertise to our community! Gentle hands are important to us and your pet! We understand that different animals have different needs and we are more than willing to accommodate to any and all of them!

About: I have a funny farm on 10 acres outside of Shueyville. My dogs run freely but I’m happy to keep your pet on a leash as I live by a busy road. I pride myself on taking care of your fur baby like I care for mine. I am home full time so am very attentive and able to have a flexible schedule to meet your needs. I enjoy going for walks and it’s always double the enjoyment when I have a walking buddy! About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family.

About: My best friend of 15 years and her family have two wonderful dogs, a doodle and a lab who I have taken care of so many times. I even watched the doodle when she was just a few months old for about a week during a snow storm while her family was on vacation. They’re a handful but so much fun. I have also cat-sit for up to 3-weeks on end. Giving medicine, checking for packages, and updating if anything seems off. I am a graduate student with very flexible hours. I am happy to spend time with your pet while I study or just for personal therapy. I will make time for animals no matter what. I go above and beyond noting things like if the house temperature is uncomfortable for said pet. I keep them under constant supervision and won’t leave them alone for more than a few hours unless discussed otherwise. I am very thorough and will take extra time to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe with a new person around them. I know what it takes to be patient with pets.

About: I have cared for cats and dogs my whole life. My family had labs and border collies at home when I was younger, and I currently have two cats. I am a teacher in the Iowa City school district. Currently, I am fully available for the summer. I will have evening and weekend availability during the school year. I am very sensitive to the needs that different pets can require. I have two cats that are very different and require different types of care. I am happy to tailor services to the needs of your pets.

About: I’ve taken care and owned dogs and cats of every kind since for about the past 10 years! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets I am a college student home for the summer with a very open and flexible schedule. I am able to care for pets starting around 10 am most days! I am able to feed and bathe pets in my clients home. I am also available to walk dogs around in local neighborhoods or trails!

About: I lost my dog last year and miss taking care of him, now that I have free time on my hands I'm looking to help take care of other dogs like I would my own. I treat pets like family and have experience with administering medications if needed and am willing to learn of any specific needs your pet has to take care of them like you would! I'm currently free most days and stay at home since my school schedule is very light for the next few months and have flexibility in it. I currently don't have any pets so there is no concern for socializing or introducing them. In addition I live in an apartment with a large grassy area where dogs can walk on and will use a leash while doing so to make sure your pet is safe.

About: I've personally owned animals my entire life. I've raised 3 dogs in the past and currently own qthat absolutely love other animals and people! I also have 3 cats that are all extremely friendly and love new things. I currently work at an animal shelter working with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have experience with friendly animals, reactive animals, and shy animals. I'm very skilled at giving medications as I have to do it daily for my job. My schedule is very flexible and I'm also good in medical cases with animals. I don't have a degree in veterinary sciences, but work with strange cases daily and have a close connection with vet techs. I'm excited to open my heart to new animals! I currently work part time in the mornings and can stop in before my shift to do a check in, potty breaks, and feeding. Once I'm off in the afternoon, I can do more check-ins and walks. In the afternoons, I can stick around longer to spend more time with them. I have experience with positive reinforcement and am also okay with using dog crates if the need is there. I'm experienced with different types of harnesses and collars as well and have worked with dogs with many different allergies.
