About: With over a decade of hands-on pet care experience, animals have always been at the heart of my life. I’ve been the proud owner of rescues since 2014, starting with Marley—a loyal Bloodhound-Lab mix—and more recently adopting a spirited Bloodhound-Weimaraner in 2022, whom I’ve worked with extensively on training and behavior. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. From welcoming a pup into my home for 14 out of 17 months while her dad was deployed, to helping another family by watching their dog during Blue Angels performances, I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care—and I honor that trust with genuine love, attention, and consistency. My experience isn’t limited to dogs, either. I grew up working at a horse stable, where I learned the discipline and responsibility that comes with animal care at an early age. Whether it’s a high-energy pup, a senior companion, or a rescue with special needs, I’m here to give them the same care I give my own. I work part time remotely and have a flexible schedule that I create. I can work my schedule around your pet and what they need. I would care for your pet in their home environment based on the established schedule of them. Keeping pets comfortable in their environment is something I strive to do.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life growing up on a horse farm. My daughter Clementine is the neighborhood dog lover. She knows all of our neighbor’s dogs and sees this as an opportunity to do what she loves and earn some savings. I work from home and my daughter is home, other than school during the day. We have a Bernedoodle who we walk and also loves dogs. We’re an active family and we enjoy playing outside. We have a large yard. We use an underground fence, so no physical fence in our yard. We would ensure all visiting dogs are leashed.

About: Over the course of twelve years, I have cared for my 25 pound chihuahua mix Suzie through routine walks, companionship, and potty-training during her puppy age. She currently resides in Chicago during my residence in Iowa City. I have a thorough background in dog-care; from March 2019-August 2019, I routinely volunteered at Paws Chicago three times a week for three hours where I provided companionship for dogs, assisted in chores such as cleaning, laundry and walking, administered adoption processes while providing resources for new pet owners, and administered specialized care to animals under the direct supervision of veterinarians. Later from June 2019-January 2020, I offered dog walking services to families across the Chicago area. I have worked with a large variety of dog sizes, energy, medical statuses, and age ranging from senior pekingese to young labradors. I am a part-time student completing my Bachelors degree in Chemistry as well as a part time pharmacy technician trainee at the university of Iowa hospitals! I have in-person classes on Monday and Friday mornings, and classes all day Wednesday. With my new position in training, my upcoming schedule has yet to be announced, so weekday availability may not be updated on my calendar availability. Currently I have additional availability on Saturday and Sundays. I am an early riser and maintain an active lifestyle through daily walks. As a dog owner myself, I value establishing a trusting relationship with my clients. Depending on the training or medical services required, I prefer to meet with my clients to address preferences. When first meeting your dog, I generally like to introduce myself slowly so they have time to adjust. In addition, I apply a general rule to avoid feeding human food to dogs unless specified it is safe by my clients.

About: Animals have always stuck out to me. Dogs specifically have been a shoulder to cry on and a warm furry pillow to rest my head on and over the years I’ve learned so many things about them. I’ve always found companionship with any animal whether or not they’ve personally been mines or someone else’s. Dogs specifically have changed the way I treat other animals, people, and have given me a new perspective on life. I plan to have a very big family and it includes multiple kinds of dogs. I treat all animals with respect and love. I do not love anything the way that I love dogs. If you’re looking for a sitter with a great personality and a loving spirit for all four legged things- I’m your girl. I am currently a stay at home mom looking for lots to do! I have all the necessary tools to make sure your pet has a cozy stay! I have a spacious home and living area and my neighborhood has plenty of dog friendly activities. I am a postdoc researcher so eventhough I work a llt i mostly set my own schedule guvung me flexible to fit this in my weekly routine. I have too cats at my apartment. I wish i had space for dog but I do take care of my friends dogs when they need it!

About: I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs and cats and have often pet sit for friends and family. Growing up I had 3 Labs and a German Shepard so I’m no stranger to larger pets! I’ve also pet sit for friends that have had both large and small dogs, so I’m familiar with all sizes! Currently I have 2 cats so I know how to handle them as well. I’m experienced in walking, bathing, and feeding! I’ve also taken care of dogs with health needs and am able to administer medicine if you’re dog requires it! I am currently a grad student at the University of Iowa and have a lot of flexibility with my class schedule to drop by and take care of pets throughout the week and weekends. Especially during the weekdays when you may be away at work! When letting dogs outside to play or go to the bathroom I will always remain outside to watch them. I will also make sure to feed them on time and take them out for walks so they get plenty of exercise!

About: I grew up on a small farm in Iowa always surrounded by animals - indoor and out. As an adult I've had a shihpoo, yellow lab, and now have two lovable German Shorthair Pointers. Our old man Benson (11) and energetic pup Luna (2) are lovingly referred to as snuggle pigs. And they get ALL the snuggles as would your fur babies in our house. I'm able to care for puppies - seniors and am more than happy to follow any and all instructions to ensure your fur baby is given the top care. I have an odd work schedule as I take 24 hour call shifts where I'm often home. I will only accept sitting requests for times I'm available to provide adequate care to your furbabies! I have a fenced in yard for those staying with us. We have a lovely neighborhood for dog walks and am flexible to provide whatever else might be warranted for your pets stay.

About: I’ve been around and have cared for animals basically my whole life with growing up on a farm and offering my services to others over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for a variety of animals for others from the age of 9! Neighbors, friends, family, and others have relied on me to walk, play, feed, water, and bathe their pets. Caring for animals has always come easily to me as it brings me joy making sure your pets are happy and healthy while in my care! I’m currently working a full time job, but I have plenty of time to care for and play with your fur babies! I’m available for in home care seven days a week, with the understanding that I might not be there all day as I work Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. I am also available for overnight care and am open to boarding pets depending on size as I am currently living in an apartment with two cats. Your pet is my top priority when in my care, I will always be sure to take the time to play with your pet and make sure all their needs are met and that they are happy. I’m respectful of all house rules and will follow all specific instructions on how to care for your pet. I send pictures, videos and updates throughout your pet’s stay/care with me so that you can see your fur baby and know they are staying happy and well-cared for while you are away!
