About: I've been caring for animals of all kinds since I was 12 years old, and for the past two years I've provided professional pet sitting for cats, dogs, and small animals. I own a wedding photography business that allows me to work from home 90% of my year. If I am booked on a specific day during your booking, I will let you know ahead of time so you can approve or deny the amount of hours I will be gone for that day (which can be anywhere from a 1-hour session to a full 10-hour wedding). I have experience as a dog owner, but have also spent many of my years dog and cat sitting for my friends and family. I raised and trained my parents puppy, a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix who needed lots of care to control his barking and playful nature, now 6 years old and so loving. I’m experience with a range of ages and needs, including puppies and elder animals with special care needs. I love dogs, as you can tell, and have all the time in the world to watch and play with them! I prefer dogs and cats have been handled and are used to being cared for, with no history of lashing out or biting. Whether you need me to cuddle, feed, brush, walk, or play with your pup, I'm your gal. Note: while I take a combo of meds for my dander allergy and have a high tolerance, I ask that any animals/homes with animals with high shedding be appropriately groomed and cleaned before sitting. I feel pets are such a big part of your family; your baby, your little one, or your child almost. You would be entrusting me with the care of this most precious part of your family. I love to be down on the floor giving the fur babies my undivided attention … whether it be petting, playing, belly scratching, brushing, or loving on your fur baby. I Love to be face-to-face and making a connection with the pets. I am also a walker myself, so I I love to be outside walking your pets. I work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible. About: Moved to a big house and that has a huge fenced in yard in Norway, Iowa 15 min west of Cedar Rapids! I’ve raised and trained a shelter dog when I was 10 yrs old. I then got my dog, Odie, and raised him starting at 4 months while in college. He’s very well mannered and calm. My golden, Bowser, is still in his “puppy” stage but also well mannered. I love dogs and cats and love playing with them. I respect their personalities and make sure they’re always happy! I currently work from home and I have occasional meetings but I am constantly playing with my dogs and checking on them. I love having my door open to our fenced in backyard so they can freely run in and out. My dogs love water activities that keep them busy. We also love bubbles! My pet care experience first started when my family got a red-fox laboratory puppy seven years ago. It was a dream come true, something my sister and I had waited for many years. I’d love to hear from you and get to know you and your pet! I am available for dog walks during the evenings and weekends! I am flexible based on the needs of the pet, but will need to work around my class schedule! Your pet would be accompanied by my own in my home. I make sure that the environment the pet stays in is safe and comfortable for the pet, and am willing to accommodate any changes that will make the pet more comfortable. I also have a yard that the pet can play in in addition to any walks that I will take the pet on.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently care for my own energetic 1-year-old pup. I’m experienced with all ages and love giving dogs the attention, care, and playtime they need. About: I've been caring for animals of all kinds since I was 12 years old, and for the past two years I've provided professional pet sitting for cats, dogs, and small animals. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. For house sitting, I do have one requirement during the school year. I have my own friendly 4-year-old Lab mix, Maverick, who would need to come with me. He’s well socialized and enjoys other dogs, but I completely understand that this isn’t the right fit for every home. If your dog enjoys having a canine companion, I’d love to discuss whether it would be a good match during a meet and greet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. He had some stomach issues that she worked on by adjusting his food and responded to his preference for time outside in the sunshine. I was very pleased with Buddy's care and Auden's professionalism and communication. We will hire her again.”
