About: I have had and cared for pets most my life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and other rodents. I currently simultaneously take care of a black lab and border collie frequently. I am recently retired and have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I care for a black lab and a border collie on a regular basis, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs that need both physical activity and attention. Walks, playtime, and keeping them on their routine are a natural part of their care. I’ve also cared for cats, rabbits, and other small animals, so I understand that each pet has different needs—whether that’s active play, quiet companionship, or simply a calm, consistent presence. About: I've taken care of dogs of various ages for about 2 years at the client's home. I've done baths, taken them on walks, outside to go potty, of course feeding and giving all the treats! I work in Cedar Rapids so I'm only able to do mid day check ins in that area. If you aren't in the Cedar Rapids area I can do morning and evening/night check ins. I am able to stay overnight at your home as well if needed. I provide care at the client's home. I am able to come for a drop in visit and hang out with your pet for a short time or I'm able to come and stay for the night, weekend, or longer if needed.

My cancellation policy is as flexible as possible, because schedules change and I understand that. Available weekday afternoons and evenings, weekends, and overnights. All breeds, all sizes, all personalities welcome. Your pet's in good hands — Benni can vouch. Pet care is a priority in my weekly routine, not an afterthought. I'm consistently available weekday afternoons and evenings, weekends, and overnights. When I'm with your pet, I'm actually present. My time is theirs; they're the point. Spending time with your pets is a privilege. Your home is your pet's comfort zone. I stick to what works for them — their space, their schedule, their quirks. I'm a careful observer, so if something seems off behaviorally or physically, I'll flag it rather than wait and see. I'm attentive to behavioral changes or anything that seems off, and I'm comfortable managing medications, including injections, so pets with medical needs are always welcome. The goal is simple: your pet feels safe, and so do you.

About: I have had or have been taking care of dogs for the last 15 years. I have experience walking, playing with, feeding, limited training, and giving medication to a wide variety of dogs of all sizes I am a recent college graduate and starting graduate school in the fall. I have a pretty open and flexible schedule to take care of your pet needs.
