About: I have owned pets my whole life. My two Bernese Mountain Dogs both recently passed and I would love to care for your pets as I get over their loss. If you are requesting house sitting M-F please be aware that I work full time days so it's basically just drop-ins and my house sitting does not include sleeping overnight at your home. I am not currently offering in-home pet care at my residence. Will update if this changes in the future. No pricing has been provided for this particular service.

About: I've taken care of dogs of various ages for about 2 years at the client's home. I've done baths, taken them on walks, outside to go potty, of course feeding and giving all the treats! I work in NE Cedar Rapids so I'm only able to do mid day check ins in that area. I am able to stay overnight at your home as well if needed. I provide care at the client's home. I am able to come for a drop in visit and hang out with your pet for a short time or I'm able to come and stay for the night, weekend, or longer if needed.

About: I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience, and an Equissage-certified canine massage therapist. I notice things most pet sitters don’t. I understand that boarding can disrupt a dog’s nervous system. Some dogs do better at home while you’re away, and my massage therapy background means I have techniques that genuinely help calm and settle an anxious or overstimulated dog in their own environment. During drop-in visits and walks, I’m assessing your dog the whole time. Gait, energy, behavior, subtle signs that something’s off. You’ll hear about it either way. I’m experienced with medically complex dogs, seniors, and anxious dogs, and equally comfortable with your healthy, bouncy lab who just needs a solid walk. Cats are absolutely welcome. Cat owners, I see you. Your cat has a whole life, a whole routine, and very strong opinions. I get it. Fill me in on the Royal Treatment and I’ll do my best to make sure it happens. I look forward to meeting you and your animal friend(s) soon. 🐾 I offer drop-in visits and dog walks seven days a week. Visits are typically 30 minutes. I send updates with photos at every visit so you know exactly how things are going. I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience. I know how to recognize when something is wrong and what to do about it. All dogs are kept leashed on walks unless we are in a securely fenced area. If your dog jumps fences, we do not go off leash outside. I do not combine your dog with unfamiliar dogs without prior owner approval. I come to you. Drop-in visits and walks take place in your home and neighborhood, which means your dog stays in a familiar environment with their own smells, sounds, and routine intact. I treat every client’s home with respect and leave it exactly as I found it. For drop-in visits that occur at dark or during nighttime hours, I may occasionally have another person with me. This is for my own safety.

About: I grew up as a kid working closely with my grandma who had 30 rescue animals at any given time. I’m used to patience kindness and love for each animal. I hope to make your pet part of my family for the time we share. Lots of pets and cuddles if they allow. I work full time remotely from home and have a fairly flexible work schedule so if I need to take time out to go for a walk or give attention to the animal it can be done easily. I have a fenced in yard and can easily separate animals with built in home gates or kennels depending on preference. I have a 5 year old goldendoodle who loves the company. My 3 daughters love the extra pets they can get in too.

About: My wife Hannah and I have had experience with reactive dogs, senior care, medications, daily walks, enrichment activities, and anything a pup could want or need for a happy and healthy life. Two person adult household, we both have full time jobs, afternoons, evenings and weekends can be dedicated to the needs of the dog or dogs. We have a fenced in large backyard and can provide whatever additional enrichment the animal might need from walks to mental stimulation or training activities.

About: I love all animals, but dogs have always held a very special place in my heart. I currently have 2 of my own & they are my world. My overall experience is 35+ years, with dog/cat/fish/plant & house-sitting. For the last 25 years, I’ve been dog-sitting in my home at no charge for my family/friends. In my spare time, I enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering with local animal rescues & agencies who assist children. I rescued, fostered & re-homed 30 dogs when I volunteered with Little Paws Rescue, up until their closure 15+ years ago. I currently volunteer with Dogs Forever as an event volunteer & I love it! If you hire me to care for your dog, I will give them much more than food & clean water. I will provide them love, safety, conversation, entertainment, exercise & mental stimulation. I want your dog to have a blast! I will do whatever I can to comfort & keep them happy until your return. I work full-time days, M-F. On weekdays, I would be available for up to 2 drop-ins/day & weekends would be much more flexible. I am also available most holidays. I am an extremely reliable, responsible, conscientious & respectful person. As previously stated, I am employed 40 hours/week, at the same company for 29 years, I’m a homeowner of 25 years & I’ve been caring for/dog-sitting for over 35 years. I will care for your dog & your home as if it were my own. I also have a ‘green thumb’ with both houseplants & gardening. If you find yourself needing this service, I would be happy to care for your plants, as well.

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.

About: I grew up with dogs! I have two dogs of my own! They are the best. Looking to help with walks, potty breaks and play time! I am in school and work seasonally. Schedule may vary but I have lots of availability to help with potty breaks, walks and play time! I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment for every pet in my care. I follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions carefully while giving pets plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I respect each pet’s routine and personality to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away!
