About: I have grown up surrounded by my loving animals. Dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters just to name a few. I have worked in the past at a veterinary clinic as an assistant & I loved it. I have large dogs and a tiny Chihuahua so I understand the difference between the needs of various dogs. I have 4 cats and I absolutely adore them. Cats bring me so much joy! I am currently available anytime for your pet care needs! I am an early riser for anyone that needs early morning care. I can clean up after your pet, walk your dog, play fetch any & all needs to make your pet happy. Studies show even a 30 min walk helps prevent excessive boredom for your dog. I am able to provide long walks & play time for your pets. I can change & disinfect litter boxes. Play with your cats & love on them as much as they will allow!

Erin was amazing with our dog! She was extremely responsive and helped us with any questions we had for her! She also was willing to go the extra mile and travel a bit farther than other potential sitters. I will definitely hire her again and recommend Erin to others in need of a doggo sitter.

About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large breeds, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I spent years volunteering with All Breed Rescue & Training in Colorado, where I gained experience supporting rescued dogs. For a year, I traveled across the country providing in-home pet care through TrustedHousesitters, staying with pets in exchange for room and board. This allowed me to care for dogs in many different homes, routines, and regions—learning how important consistency, communication, and trust are when owners are away. Today, I share my home with my own small dog, so I understand firsthand how much your pet means to you. Whether your dog needs playtime, structured walks, companionship, or just a calm and reliable presence, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I currently work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available for drop in visits and walks in the middle of the day and check in on your baby. I treat every dog like my own but also respect every dog's individual needs. Whatever approach or structure is needed to make your pet happy, I am happy to follow.

I will definitely request Mira's help again - this was our first Rover experience, and she was a blessing. She went above and beyond by dropping by to meet Sam ahead of time so he wouldn't view her as an intruder. He's 90 pounds and we're still working on his puppy manners (like jumping and the occasional body slam), and she was competent and professional in taking him on. Mira dropped by twice as requested, took him for a walk, and sent plenty of photos so we could see he was having the best time with her. Highly recommend! Thank you, Mira!

About: I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience, and an Equissage-certified canine massage therapist. I notice things most pet sitters don’t. I understand that boarding can disrupt a dog’s nervous system. Some dogs do better at home while you’re away, and my massage therapy background means I have techniques that genuinely help calm and settle an anxious or overstimulated dog in their own environment. During drop-in visits and walks, I’m assessing your dog the whole time. Gait, energy, behavior, subtle signs that something’s off. You’ll hear about it either way. I’m experienced with medically complex dogs, seniors, and anxious dogs, and equally comfortable with your healthy, bouncy lab who just needs a solid walk. Cats are absolutely welcome. Cat owners, I see you. Your cat has a whole life, a whole routine, and very strong opinions. I get it. Fill me in on the Royal Treatment and I’ll do my best to make sure it happens. I look forward to meeting you and your animal friend(s) soon. 🐾 I offer drop-in visits and dog walks seven days a week. Visits are typically 30 minutes. I send updates with photos at every visit so you know exactly how things are going. I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience. I know how to recognize when something is wrong and what to do about it. All dogs are kept leashed on walks unless we are in a securely fenced area. If your dog jumps fences, we do not go off leash outside. I do not combine your dog with unfamiliar dogs without prior owner approval. I come to you. Drop-in visits and walks take place in your home and neighborhood, which means your dog stays in a familiar environment with their own smells, sounds, and routine intact. I treat every client’s home with respect and leave it exactly as I found it. For drop-in visits that occur at dark or during nighttime hours, I may occasionally have another person with me. This is for my own safety.

About: I have lots of puppy care experience, and I know how to take care of all types of breeds. I will make sure your animals are loved and treated like family! I work pretty much full time at a dog boarding/daycare facility, so I know how to take care of animals very well! I work every day except Saturday and Sunday, my shifts are usually no longer than 6 hours. I live in an apartment with lots of space, so I can accommodate a lot of different animals. Also a huge outside area where they can do their business and play!

About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, and I currently care for two dogs and two cats of my own. That hands-on, everyday experience means I'm attuned to pet behavior and know how to keep animals calm, happy, and on their routine when their owners are away. Growing up with pets also gave me a strong foundation in recognizing when something seems off, whether it's a change in appetite, energy, or mood so, you can travel with peace of mind knowing your home and pets are in attentive, loving hands. I currently work a regular full-time schedule that wraps up by early afternoon on weekdays, leaving me plenty of time for afternoon and evening pet care. Weekends vary, but I'm always mindful of scheduling around my availability to make sure your pets get the attention they deserve. I only take on sits I can fully commit to; your pets and home will always be my priority when I'm booked. When house sitting, I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I stick to your pet's established routines, feeding times, walks, play, and rest, so they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. I'm attentive to any changes in behavior or health and will always reach out if something seems off. You can expect regular updates and photos so you stay connected to your pets no matter where you are.

About: I love all animals, and I'm willing to get my hands dirty (litterboxes are no match for me). I am very good at getting animals to take meds when needed, and I love just hanging out and keeping pets company so they don't feel lonely. I also have experience in taking care of animals with advanced grooming needs such as dailying brushing or bathing. I currently work Monday through Friday until 5 pm so I'm usually only open weekends unless it's just to pop by and make sure the animals are doing okay. Unless they are staying with me at my home in which wouldn't be a problem as I work from home. I have a fenced in backyard for playing. I have an extra crate if needed. I take my own dog on daily walks. We like to go to the trail at the school next door.

About: Hi, I’m Raven! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a deep love for animals. As a dedicated dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet’s care. I treat every dog as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including senior dogs, and I’m comfortable administering oral medications when needed. I currently own a Catahoula Leopard Dog, so I’m familiar with energetic breeds and the importance of daily exercise, enrichment, and consistent care. I currently work as a Family Support Specialist and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the day, including walks, drop-in visits, potty breaks, and companionship. I work both from home and in the office, giving me flexibility to accommodate your pet’s needs. I cannot have other dogs in my home due to my Catahoula Leopard being protective. I have always kept an eye on dogs when they go outside and I even go outside with them to allow them to go the bathroom and also play with the them.

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.

Megan was an absolute lifesaver! We completely forgot to book our regular dogsitter, only to find out she was on vacation in Florida. My wife was ready to make multiple trips back and forth from Des Moines while my son played and I coached at the state baseball tournament. A friend suggested trying the Rover app, and we were admittedly nervous at first. But during the meet-and-greet, our rescue dog went straight to Megan like they’d known each other forever. She handled everything perfectly for the entire long weekend. Her communication was excellent, and her attention to detail blew us away. She even brushed our pups and vacuumed the living room! A million stars from us—we may have just found our new go-to sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
