About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and truly love caring for them. Growing up, even before my family adopted our dog Rylee, I would often visit neighbors just to spend time playing with their dogs, and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed and felt drawn to. Once we brought Rylee home, I learned firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement when caring for a dog. I also believe verbal communication plays a big role in helping dogs feel comfortable, understood, and loved. Over time, I began dog sitting and walking for neighbors in my community. About: I love meeting and hanging out with pets. I’ve always wanted a dog growing up but never got one. However, my sister has now gotten her own pup, and I’m the happiest aunt! Would be a lovely break during the day! Also, I prefer notice in advance, but sometimes my calendar has gaps and could possibly accept day of :) I can check their water and food. I can open/close shades, doors, etc. If they watch TV, I can make sure it’s playing or change it, etc. They can get play time!

About: I've taken care of animals, both my own and others, for my entire life. Most recently, I've cared for dogs and cats while nannying and babysitting. I'm able to multitask, follow feeding and medication schedules and am more than willing to get outside in the Iowa heat for walks and bathroom breaks. I am very very happy with my experience with Asha. I had a wonderful week long trip planned, but was worried about leaving my dogs at home. Not only did the photos with each drop in assure me that my dogs were doing great - Asha’s reports showed me that she understood my dogs and that they were in good hands. This is important because one of my dogs is very slow to trust people and has caused problems with other sitters (like refusing to come inside at all while I was gone). Asha provided great care and her updates helped me relax and enjoy my trip so much more.
I highly recommend Elizabeth! She has cared for our greyhounds a few times now and does a great job. She sends lots of pictures and keeps us in the loop about things - we love that. She's been flexible and able to provide care when needed. We will absolutely hire her again!!
