About: I lost my dog last year and miss taking care of him, now that I have free time on my hands I'm looking to help take care of other dogs like I would my own. I treat pets like family and have experience with administering medications if needed and am willing to learn of any specific needs your pet has to take care of them like you would! I'm currently free most days and stay at home since my school schedule is very light for the next few months and have flexibility in it. I currently don't have any pets so there is no concern for socializing or introducing them. In addition I live in an apartment with a large grassy area where dogs can walk on and will use a leash while doing so to make sure your pet is safe.

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. I am available all weekend. Safety & Environment ~ In my home, your pet becomes part of the crew. I have two very friendly, well-socialized cats (you could be a robber and they’d still flop on their backs and ask for belly rubs all the same! 😂) and a playful (yet very respectful) Shiba Inu puppy who loves making new friends, while understanding boundaries. I take introductions slow and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. My neighborhood is walkable and safe. I’m right down the street from the police station, fire station, local vet, and S.T. Morrison Park! Which means lots of fun walks, fresh air, and enrichment time! (I’m all about protective safeguards and organization, so living in close proximity to aid and community enrichment was a must for me :) 🙌 I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine: feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, cuddle preferences, crate time, you name it. I adjust to their vibe and your instruction.

About: On top of growing up with three crazy dogs, I have been a pet caretaker since I was 12! With 11 years of experience, I am very confident in my work. I have taken care of dogs ranging from 5-105 lbs, lots of cats, and even fish. I have dealt with high maintenance animals, some who needed a daily stroller ride, so seriously, any request that seems outlandish is my pleasure to fulfill. I am a senior at the Univrrsity of Iowa, and miss my animals, so I genuinely will love talking care of yours!
