“Trish was amazing with my 12 week old puppy. I received lots of pictures and videos of her playing with the puppy and cuddling with her. Trish seems very passionate about what she does. Will definitely bring my puppy back to her.”

About: We have had 2 dogs for quite some time. Cody always had a pet in the home growing up and we have had our dogs since they were puppies (the oldest is 8 years old). We are willing to give any medicines and we brush our own dogs teeth at night, so we can do yours if you would like! Cody works from home, and Ashley is home most of the time so we will be willing to work with you and what your pup needs! We have a single family home with a fenced in yard and 2 fur babies ourselves to keep your pet company! We also have a doggy door to the backyard if your pup knows how to use it :) We do not crate our own dogs but are willing to crate your pup if that is the preference. We usually take our dogs on 4 walks per day, lasting about 30 minutes each walk plus free roam in the backyard.

“Jason is amazing! He is quick to respond and genuinely loves what he does. He took great care of my boy Duke! We will definitely be coming back to Jason in the future! He’s awesome!!”

“Amazingx3 ! This is our first time using Rover and we had an amazing experience with Abbey! She took care of our shy fur baby for a day and he had a great day at her place. She updated us frequently with pictures and videos. Her dog Samantha is very friendly and kind to our dog. Overall, would 100% recommend for everyone!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have had many neighbors back home request my dog sitting services. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I definitely am open to negotiating prices so just reach out and we can have a conversation! I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. I have a patio for dogs to be outside if they want to as well as a separate office space that my dog sleeps in at night. I also have a crate available if need be.
“Our 1st day care was great! Melissa and Joseph were attentive and caring and sent fun pictures of her playing which was really nice for us to see! Look forward to having our girl stay with them again soon?”

“Sidney took great care of our puppy, Bean! She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and how Bean was doing! I would highly recommend Sidney if you’re looking for a good sitter!”

About: I treat every dog like my own and love creating routines that keep dogs happy, safe, and comfortable. Whether it’s sticking to their favorite walking route or making sure they get the right amount of play and rest, I pay close attention to each dog’s unique needs. I’m patient, dependable, and always focused on making your pup feel secure and loved while you're away. I'm currently working part-time on weekends at the hospital so I have plenty of time during the week to dedicate to pet care! I love spending time with animals, so this feels natural and rewarding. I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk times, or medication needs—and I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of love and attention.

I work from home all week days but Wednesday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. I am free most weekends as well! If your dog gets along with others I am willing to welcome them into my home. For kitties and other dogs, I am reliable and trustworthy to go to your home to provide care as requested. I have two very friendly (almost too friendly) mini schnauzers and two boys aged 10 and 12. They absolutely love dogs and cats so this would be an exciting opportunity for them too! I have a leash/cord outside that I attach my dogs to, I remain outside to ensure they are safe while they do their business.
“Christine was great with My Felix. He enjoyed snuggling up with her daughter. He seemed to really have a good time protecting their home like a watch dog. But I would definitely book again in the future.”

“Kasey was an absolute blessing to us! Our daughter was admitted to Iowa City Hospital and we were traveling with our 2 fur babies. We had no idea how we would be able to visit her, but Kasey made it possible! Her location to the hospital is absolutely perfect! Her love of animals is extremely evident when you visit her lovely home! Knowing she will be able to care for our dogs for future hospital visits with our daughter gives us such peace of mind! You will not be disappointed if you choose Her!”

About: Hank and I have been rescuing German Shepherds since 2018 and LOVE IT! We were able to find them all loving home despite the shape or the behaviors they came with. This last year I did my first rescue by myself. I unfortunately lost Hank in the Summer of 2023. Hank was diagnosed in early Fall 2023 with degenerative myelopathy along with serve arthritis on his spine. I did ALL that I could to keep his active and healthy-including making his own food, adding supplements, water therapy, acupuncture and massage therapy. We did our best to turn obstacles into opportunities. Hank brought a lot of joy to myself and so many others. I have a room dedicated to him called Hank's Hangout. This will be the one of the areas where your four legged loved one will play, relax and rest. By fostering and with Hank I have developed training skills, worked with all doggie personalities, behaviors, and dealt a variety of medical issues/concerns(unfortunately). Fostering runs in the family. My SIL and brother also foster in Kansas City. My SIL recently opened up her own dog bakery called Callie Mae's. I have a feeling it will become a family tradition. I have been working full time from home since 2015. This allows me the opportunity for walks, playtime and keep a watchful eye on your dog. My work schedule is M-F 6-2:30. I have a fenced in back yard, the dog(s) will be on the first floor with me. They have their own room along with access to my office.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life! I had a husky that my parents got when my sisters and I were babies. After she sadly passed, we now have 2 Australian Shepherds who are very active, enjoy the dog park, going to Starved Rock, and playing with other pups! I am going in to my junior year at the University of Iowa, so I am only in town for summers and breaks. I also work part-time as a lifeguard, picking up any available shifts a few times a week. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly pups who are currently 5 years old. They have been socialized since they were very young and go to the dog park almost every day. I know everyone trains their pups differently, so it will be easy to accommodate them!
About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life, and recently said goodbye to my sweet golden doodle of 14 years. He was my bud, and caring for him from puppyhood into his older years taught me so much about love, patience, and the little things dogs need to feel safe and happy. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who needed a gentler care. I’m confident giving medication, following feeding routines, and making sure every dog feels loved. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like family. I’ll send plenty of updates, give lots of love, and make sure your dog is well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my daily life because I’m a senior at the University of Iowa with a flexible schedule. I’m currently taking two classes online and two in person, which leaves me with plenty of open time throughout the day. This allows me to be consistent and reliable with pet care, whether that’s daily walks, feeding, or staying overnight. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick closely to their usual routines, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they might need, so things feel familiar while you’re away.

Abbey was amazing! We needed a last-minute sitter for our boy while we’re in town for my mom, who’s fighting cancer, and she responded right away. From the moment we met her and her husband, I could tell they were such a loving, caring family. I’m so grateful she was able to help us on such short notice. I know my Snuggles had the best time with them! I’d definitely bring him back anytime.

Brooklyn was absolutely amazing, especially with everything happening last minute. I’ve been in the hospital for 4 weeks with my mom who is battling cancer, and finding someone trustworthy to care for my pup while we’re away from home has been so stressful. Brooklyn reached out right away, stepped in without hesitation, and made sure Snuggles was loved and cared for like family. She stayed in great communication, was so responsive, and truly reliable. I can’t thank her enough! I highly recommend Brooklyn to anyone needing someone kind, dependable, and caring for their fur baby. We’ll definitely be booking with her again — thank you so much, Brooklyn! 🐾💛
