“Amazingx3 ! This is our first time using Rover and we had an amazing experience with Abbey! She took care of our shy fur baby for a day and he had a great day at her place. She updated us frequently with pictures and videos. Her dog Samantha is very friendly and kind to our dog. Overall, would 100% recommend for everyone!”

“Auden was fantastic! Communication was great throughout the day along with photos of our pup playing and on walks! We definitely would love Auden to watch our dog again!”

“This was our first visit with Megan. Our 10 month old white German Shepherd, Jax, is fairly timid and has never stayed outside of our home. Megan was very caring and attentive...making Jax feel very comfortable and safe in her home. She is a delightful person...and takes care of your pet as if it were her own. She has a lovely home with a very large fenced in yard...perfect for play and exercise. I would highly recommend Megan!”

About: I lost my dog last year and miss taking care of him, now that I have free time on my hands I'm looking to help take care of other dogs like I would my own. I treat pets like family and have experience with administering medications if needed and am willing to learn of any specific needs your pet has to take care of them like you would! I'm currently free most days and stay at home since my school schedule is very light for the next few months and have flexibility in it. I currently don't have any pets so there is no concern for socializing or introducing them. In addition I live in an apartment with a large grassy area where dogs can walk on and will use a leash while doing so to make sure your pet is safe.
“This was our first experience with Rover and it exceeded our expectations. Ali did a great job caring for our 4 1/2 year old black lab, George. Ali was easy to get in touch with and attended to George’s medical issues requiring meds and exercise restrictions. George was clearly well cared for and loved.? Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been a dog mom of 3 for 15 years and love to take them on walks and play fetch in the yard! Have a flexible schedule for potty breaks I work from my home so I am able to be with your fur baby all day. I have four acres of land that your pup can roam and play. I have a flexible work schedule and will be able to give your fur baby lots of quality individualized care per all your pups needs.
“Kasey was an absolute blessing to us! Our daughter was admitted to Iowa City Hospital and we were traveling with our 2 fur babies. We had no idea how we would be able to visit her, but Kasey made it possible! Her location to the hospital is absolutely perfect! Her love of animals is extremely evident when you visit her lovely home! Knowing she will be able to care for our dogs for future hospital visits with our daughter gives us such peace of mind! You will not be disappointed if you choose Her!”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. In addition to my own fur family, I've watched several other's fur babies for the past 10 years. I work from home, so I'm home the majority of the time. That means your animals always get the attention they need, plus always another animal for companionship. I don't have a fenced yard, but I ALWAYS tether or take them out on a leash when at my home. I do like to give treats like kongs for added stimulation as well. I do have crates or have room for crates for sleeping or if they need alone time.
“Sidney took great care of our puppy, Bean! She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and how Bean was doing! I would highly recommend Sidney if you’re looking for a good sitter!”

About: Hi everyone! My name is Reagan. I am 22 years old and I have been taking care of my own pets and neighbor’s pets for about 10 years now. I also currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility! I am a recent graduate from UIowa! I also currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility as a supervisor and dog handler. I would love to watch your fur children! I will follow whatever rules you leave for me very strictly. I am used to feeding schedules and potty schedules as well. About: Get to know me ~ It’s lovely to meet you! I’m Skylynn! But my friends call me “Lo”. I am a clinic services specialist at UIHC, an active reader, lover of nature—and I ADORE fur-babies! 💕 Pets have been part of my world since I could walk! I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats through every stage: from puppies with the zoomies to sweet, nonchalant seniors. In that time, I have learned to tailor walks and playtime to match each pet’s energy, keep a close eye on special diets, and gently handle medications and supplements when needed. Whether they’re shy, spunky, cuddly, or curious, I tune into their emotional needs: offering play, snuggles, and calm companionship that makes them feel right at home. I even handle brushing and nail trims, when requested, to help your sweet-faced, little fur-ball feel their best! No matter who I’m caring for, I bring kindness, patience, and a whole lot of heart to every visit! Friends, family, and clients have trusted me for years because I treat every pet like family. Because to me, they are! (También hablo español :) My Availability ~ I work full time at the U; Monday-Friday. On weekdays I am available in the afternoon and overnight (with pick-up at 7AM). I am available all weekend. Safety & Environment ~ In my home, your pet becomes part of the crew. I have two very friendly, well-socialized cats (you could be a robber and they’d still flop on their backs and ask for belly rubs all the same! 😂) and a playful (yet very respectful) Shiba Inu puppy who loves making new friends, while understanding boundaries. I take introductions slow and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. My neighborhood is walkable and safe. I’m right down the street from the police station, fire station, local vet, and S.T. Morrison Park! Which means lots of fun walks, fresh air, and enrichment time! (I’m all about protective safeguards and organization, so living in close proximity to aid and community enrichment was a must for me :) 🙌 I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine: feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, cuddle preferences, crate time, you name it. I adjust to their vibe and your instruction.
About: I have much enthusiasm for helping people and pets out, am experienced in babysitting, and work well when under pressure and memorize instructions very quickly! Recently graduated from undergrad, I’m currently a part time student at another university (fully online, only one class) so I have virtually all the free time these days ! I give my full attention to the pets, and I have a secure home with various ways for them to enjoy spending their time either playing or simply resting.
