About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was five. I grew up on a farm and understand the anxiety that a pet owner has when going on vacation and finding someone to love their pet as they love them. Well, have no fear! I am here to save the day! I am a school teacher by day and dog caregiver by night! I am happy to spend all my afternoons with your pupper or kitty cat! School is starting so availability unfortunately has become a bit more limited, but I will do everything to work with you and to care for your dear sweet fur baby regardless! I will travel to your home to ensure that your pet is in a familiar space. I will give them daily snuggles, walks and attention. In the past few years, I’ve startedi helping pet sit for friends and family for periods ranging from a couple of days to a few weeks. I work 8:30-5 M-F, but have an hour lunch everyday. I have availability and reliable transportation before and after work hours as well. I make sure to follow owner preferences and safety precautions. About: I’ve been taking care of and loving my own animals and my family’s animals since I was young and they’ve trusted me since I was a teenager to help take care of their animals and walk them when they are gone I take care of my own pets daily and make sure they get lots of enrichment. I love any and all animals and have always wanted to help other people take care of their animals when they need it I have a very friendly dog of my own but not a friendly cat so I will have to pet sit in your home for your pets safety and my cats safety. About: Growing up, my parents ensured I was surrounded by animals as much as possible! We always had dogs growing up. Since I was an out-of-state student in college, I began Rover to be able to connect with pets near me. I now live in Iowa City, as I attend Graduate School at the University of Iowa. My girlfriend and I just adopted a cat, so I am also gaining experience with cats!! I am a graduate student at the University of Iowa studying School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis. In my home I have a very big backyard where we can go out and play and I have a fenced in patio where we can hang out at outdoors. We can always go inside as well as my house is spacious.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
