About: I’ve interacted with all types of animals and shadowed at veterinary clinics since I was a child. In the past few years, I’ve startedi helping pet sit for friends and family for periods ranging from a couple of days to a few weeks. I work 8:30-5 M-F, but have an hour lunch everyday. I have availability and reliable transportation before and after work hours as well. I make sure to follow owner preferences and safety precautions. This can mean making sure a dog stays away from other animals during walks, or making sure there is no trash around the house that the pet could easily get into.

About: Growing up, my parents ensured I was surrounded by animals as much as possible! We always had dogs growing up. Since I was an out-of-state student in college, I began Rover to be able to connect with pets near me. I now live in Iowa City, as I attend Graduate School at the University of Iowa. My girlfriend and I just adopted a cat, so I am also gaining experience with cats!! I am a graduate student at the University of Iowa studying School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis. I work at the UIowa Children’a Hospital Center for Disabilities and Development a couple of days a week- but my hours are flexible. I do have classes all day on Tuesdays, Thursday nights, and Friday mornings. In my home I have a very big backyard where we can go out and play and I have a fenced in patio where we can hang out at outdoors. We can always go inside as well as my house is spacious.

About: I undertand that every pet is uniquely different, and I give the proper care and attention to meet their particular needs. I take the time to make sure each animal is comfortable, happy, and secure. I am a full time college student with a part time job, but I available most weekends and evenings, and occasionally during the work day. During each visit, your pet will receive more than just the basics. They will get attention, playtime, enrichment, and the care they’re used to receiving at home.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was five. I grew up on a farm and understand the anxiety that a pet owner has when going on vacation and finding someone to love their pet as they love them. Well, have no fear! I am here to save the day! I am a school teacher by day and dog caregiver by night! I am happy to spend all my afternoons with your pupper or kitty cat! School is starting so availability unfortunately has become a bit more limited, but I will do everything to work with you and to care for your dear sweet fur baby regardless! I will travel to your home to ensure that your pet is in a familiar space. I will give them daily snuggles, walks and attention. I will treat your pet as if they were my own loving on them and treating them. I am happy to take them on daily walks, to the park and to stay the night at your place.

About: I’ve owned a dog since I was 10 years old. I currently have 2 dogs living at home in New York. I also have experience in dog training at Art of Dog in Buffalo. I have worked with dogs as large as a great dane and as small as a chihuahua, as well as senior dogs and puppies. I’ve worked with crate trained dogs, dogs on an e-collar and prong collar. I am currently a graduate student taking only 3 classes a semester and plenty of time for dog (and cat!) sitting and walking. I have one class a day Monday - Thursday. Weekends are free. I would prefer to care for dogs in clients homes, but can take care of small dogs from my apartment if needed. I do have a yard that is not fenced. I live on a safe street and dogs will always be leashed outside. I do not have a crate, but can take clients dog crate for the stay. I have access to a car.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy taking care of and spending time with them. I have experience caring for older dogs who may need extra attention, assistance, or medication. I also have extensive experience with energetic dogs, so I understand the importance of exercise, consistency, and routine in keeping them happy and healthy. I am available all times on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. I am also available Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am able to fit pet care easily into my daily and weekly routine. I have time throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I am organized and dependable, so I can consistently follow routines, medication schedules, and specific care instructions to make sure pets stay comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether I am in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, bathroom breaks, and any medications or special instructions. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while also respecting their individual personalities and comfort levels. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment and maintaining a clean, calm space. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they are away. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, loved, and well cared for.

Growing up with multiple dogs taught me how important patience, consistency, and love are when caring for pets. I understand that every dog has a different personality and routine. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or simply needs someone to stop by for potty breaks and company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll always treat your pet like they’re my own. During every visit, I’ll send photo updates so you can feel confident knowing your dog is happy and safe while you’re away. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and flexible with scheduling. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I’m currently a student so I do have classes everyday but I am able to take care of pups in between them! I am able to care for your pet on week days. I will oblige to whatever fits your dogs needs! Whether that be going for walks, staying in your yard for a potty break, or just stopping in to give them some love!

About: I’ve been taking care of and loving my own animals and my family’s animals since I was young and they’ve trusted me since I was a teenager to help take care of their animals and walk them when they are gone I take care of my own pets daily and make sure they get lots of enrichment. I love any and all animals and have always wanted to help other people take care of their animals when they need it I have a very friendly dog of my own but not a friendly cat so I will have to pet sit in your home for your pets safety and my cats safety. I make sure my animals are fed and taken care of properly and I’m not afraid to clean up messes when needed

About: I’ve taken care of numerous animals my whole life starting at the age of 5. I have 2 dogs of my own who are my world. Your fur babies will be in the best of care. I currently work Tuesday through Friday 11 am to 9 pm. I have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off. I can provide pet care anytime through the day Saturday through Monday and mornings on Tuesday through Friday. Whatever your pets needs they will be provided. About: Paid through ISU business school by being a Live-In Dog "Manny" in exchange for free rent, took care of 5 dogs daily, and rotating foster pups through college. Very clean, responsible, punctual, and trustworthy, have been walking neighborhood pups daily for over 5 years, specializing in walks, feeding, check-in/drop-ins for all furry animals big or small. References available upon request. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, making it easy to run out and check in on your furry member of the family, whether in event of an emergency or daily scheduled visits or walks, whatever fits your needs I am here to help! I have a 6ft fenced in back yard filled with toys and an outdoor dog house for some shade during outdoor play time if your pup needs to stay over, plenty of food and fresh water available at all times, and a camera in the backyard if you wanted to check in on your furry best friend.
