About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs. I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. I’m happy to accommodate specific feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any other instructions that help your pet feel at home.

About: I've had pets my entire life and 16+ years caring for animals, both my own and others. I'm comfortable with routines to more involved care, medications (including insulin) and senior pet care. I love getting to know each pet's quirks, routines, and boundaries. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've been actively involved with in-home training and understand the importance of consistency and trust! I've cared for all kinds of animals... scales, feathers, shells, or something a little more unconventional, so I'm happy to care for those critters too. Your pet(s) will be safe, respected, and thoroughly cared for. I'll provide updates for peace of mind while you're away, and you'll come home to a happy animal treated like one of my own! I’m a lifelong animal lover (and currently proud pet parent) with a degree in Psychology and background in healthcare, so I bring a high level of detail and care to every pet I visit. I work a remote 8:30am–5pm schedule Monday to Saturday (excluding Thursdays, my day off). Because I work from home, my evenings and Sundays are entirely dedicated to play, walks, scritches, and feeding routines! While I’m not currently available for 24hr live-in care, I’m the perfect match for owners looking for reliable AM/PM check-ins/walks, evening companionship, or overnight stays. I believe every pet deserves a space where they feel safe, seen, and completely adored! My goal is to keep their routine steady and their spirits high while you’re away. Whether it’s an energetic evening walk or a quiet dinner-time visit, I show up with a positive attitude and a lot of love to give. -- A Note on My Home vs. Yours -- To keep things peaceful for my own two cats, I don’t host other furry friends in my own house. This actually works out great because it means when I’m with your pet in their familiar environment, they have my undivided attention! I’m all about creating a calm, happy experience for them right where they feel most comfortable. (P.S. If you have a reptile like a lizard or a snake, I’m open to discussing a special scenario for hosting them since they won't ruffle any feline feathers.)

About: to be blunt: I love animals. I treat them like kids, they need attention and love. I'll make sure your pet feels cared about while you're away! I'm currently only volunteering and working on coding in my free time so i'm very flexible and available! I build my schedule around the animals I am caring for, whether that's ensuring I have time for midday play breaks, afternoon walks, or late night cuddling time, I will make sure to communicate that I am able to be there and show up for your pet. I take a calm, safety-first approach in every single home I enter. I like to follow routines, and I will follow yours to a T. I always ensure that doors and gates are closed and secured, and I always check in to see if anything seems off. In my home, pets get a quiet, low-stress environment with lots of supervision.

About: I have had my own pet sitting business since I was 10 and have watched and cared all different breeds and even cats! I have a lot of experience with large, high-energy hunting breeds and ensure that each pup gets enough exercise each day. My favs are the dog park and the beach! I also trained my golden retriever, Harper in agility! In my free time I love to volunteer at the animal shelter, to give back! So I have experience with pets with separation anxiety and those that aren’t friendly with other pets! I ensure all pet parents are updated with pictures and videos! I currently go to school in Iowa City and wanted to watch some pets over break! I am free for the entire break, Mid December-Mid January! Either in my home or the clients I keep a close eye on the pet! I ensure adequate exercise and keeping the pet out of trouble. When in the clients home I make sure that I am locking doors and can take care of other household chores like garbage, shoveling, and dishes!

About: Lived with dogs for 20 years, cats for almost 10. Worked with dogs and cats for 5 years as a sitter/walker unprofessionally. Looking to watch friendly animals looking for a companion! I work part time with short shifts in a local shop, so i’m available often and rarely out of town/completely booked. Willing to do 3+ visits daily depending on location and distance / additional fees on top. Not available to care for pets in home. Can do home visits to feed, water, walk, administer care/med routines (when informed ahead of time with proper instruction), and just chill with animals of all kinds and sizes.

About: I’ve taken care and owned dogs and cats of every kind since for about the past 10 years! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets I am a college student home for the summer with a very open and flexible schedule. I am able to care for pets starting around 10 am most days! I am able to feed and bathe pets in my clients home. I am also available to walk dogs around in local neighborhoods or trails!

About: I have taken care of animals for the past 16 years. I have cared for my own family dogs and cat since I was 10. I now have my own cat for the past 3 years. Before I adopted my one cat I have had multiple roommates over the past 6 years with dogs and cats of their own that I have helped care for every day. I frequently pet-sit for my friends and their families when they are out of town. I can handle any pet personality from high energy to anxious or shy. I am gentle and cautious making sure your animal is always comfortable in my company. I do work in patient care, so while my patients are humans, all of my friends, family and coworkers would agree that I provide quality care for all living beings. I just graduated and I am looking for jobs preparing to move back home to Illinois. My lease in Iowa ends at the end of July, so until then I have almost complete availability this summer through end of July. I can do mornings as early as 6:30am and can be available all day until the late evening or night. I am very flexible and willing to work with what pet owners or their pet needs any day of the week. Your home and your pet are my greatest priorities. Whatever your needs may be I am always willing to learn how I can best assist or provide for your pet. About: We have had pets for 15 years and took care of pets for students over the summer in our house for few years. We personally have a close friend who is a veterinarian. Many walks and play time. We will walk, feed, bath and take care of your pet. Great walking path and park by our house. I currently and permanently work from home now so I can take care pets during the day. My wife also works from home. My son goes to high school but can help when he returns. I have a fenced in yard with a happy mini golden doodle who gets among with most dogs and people. Farm trips may also be possible as we run the family farm west of Des Moines with my brother. We are weekend farmers. I am working from home and can provide care during the day. My sons comes home from school and can provide care after 5 pm. My wife works from home also so there is almost always someone home all the time. I have a fenced in yard that is mostly rock and wooden deck. We do has a pool also. Lots of open areas and parks around us. I am working full time from home and part time away from home but then my son is back from school. Wife works full time from home except on Mondays. Fenced in yard with a pool. We have quiet neighborhood and lots of parks close by. In laws live one block away and they have a fenced in yard as well with two kids.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, as well as a bunny. My friends and family members rely on me to take care of their animals and give them lots of love! I am experienced with any sized animal with any level of training!! I’m here to ensure your animal(s) is happy and healthy! I am available all weekend to hangout with your animal! I have two-three classes a day during the weekdays. However, they are spread out to where I can feed/relieve/walk a pet in between classes. I am early riser who normally wakes up around 6:30am and am happy to spend the whole morning playing with a furry friend! I have a very friendly cat, named Luna, who love to play with other animals. I have two big crates and a play pen for puppies. Feeding, playing, and cleaning up after animals is something I do on a daily basis! I regularly visit home to watch my bulldog and my brother’s lab!
