About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. For house sitting, I do have one requirement during the school year. I have my own friendly 4-year-old Lab mix, Maverick, who would need to come with me. He’s well socialized and enjoys other dogs, but I completely understand that this isn’t the right fit for every home. About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m a NICU nurse at the University. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and have always loved being around them. My husband, Taylor, and I live in a home with a fully fenced backyard along with our 3-year-old son and, part-time, my 11-year-old stepdaughter, who insists she’ll have 10 dogs of her own someday—haha! We also have an almost 5-year-old mini Goldendoodle. He lost his big brother a few years ago, and while now isn’t the right time for us to add another dog to our family, we thought hosting some furry playmates would be a fun way to keep him happy and social. For everyone’s comfort and safety, we’re only able to host dogs under about 35 pounds, as larger dogs tend to make ours anxious. He’s very used to playing with his 8–10-pound Yorkie cousins during the holidays and absolutely loves having canine friends to run around with! I work 12hr shifts on both Saturday and Sunday, then I am home all week. My husband is home on the weekends, so someone is always home. We allow dogs in our beds and on our couch. I am aware of poisonous foods and plants to dogs. I also make sure to follow instructions!

About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have had many neighbors back home request my dog sitting services. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I definitely am open to negotiating prices so just reach out and we can have a conversation! I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. I have a patio for dogs to be outside if they want to as well as a separate office space that my dog sleeps in at night. I also have a crate available if need be.

Your pet's safety, comfort, and individual needs are always my top priority. Before each booking, I'll ask questions about your pet's personality, routine, training, leash behavior, reactivity, triggers, and how they interact with other dogs, cats, and people. I want to understand what makes your pet comfortable and what situations I should be aware of before we head out. For walks, I'll follow your instructions regarding leashes, harnesses, and walking routines and will keep your pet supervised and secure at all times. I'll never let a dog off leash unless you've specifically asked me to and we're in an appropriate, safe area. For drop in visits, I'll follow your instructions for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles. I'm also comfortable giving oral medications such as pills when clear instructions are provided. I'll make sure doors, gates, and other entry points are securely closed before leaving. I know every pet is different, so I don't assume that one approach works for every dog. I'll take the time to learn your pet's needs and follow the routines and boundaries you've established for them. I'll also send photos and an update after each visit so you know how your pup is doing!
About: I've taken care of animals, both my own and others, for my entire life. Most recently, I've cared for dogs and cats while nannying and babysitting. I'm able to multitask, follow feeding and medication schedules and am more than willing to get outside in the Iowa heat for walks and bathroom breaks. I currently work in the evenings so I'm able to drop in during the mornings and regular work hours if needed. I'm also available for the occasional overnight care, if needed for your pet. About: I’ve taken care of many pets from neighbors, friends, and family. I love hanging out with them and making sure they have everything they need to be happy and safe. Free this summer from college and I’ll be free for pet sitting! No full job set up yet for the summer so I’m free whenever for now. I always make sure that the pet has everything they need. About: I am a medical student. I have put all of my efforts towards caring for others and their loved ones. My pet care experience first started when my family got a red-fox laboratory puppy seven years ago. It was a dream come true, something my sister and I had waited for many years. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. About: I am a responsible college student athlete who is very active and loves to be around pets. I have grown up with 1-3 pets in the house my whole life, and I have learned to take care of them to the best of my abilities. I have gotten used to doing the many duties involved with taking care of a pet, including picking up waste.
