About: I’ve taken care of quite a few dogs since I was young. I’ve had two dogs myself but currently don’t have any furry friends. I regularly dog-sit my parents’ dog and have occasionally watched other dogs. I do not work during the summer so I am home most of the time other than when running errands or the occasional day trip. This will allow me to keep whatever schedule your dog is used to. We have a fenced in yard with a few doggy neighbors. We do not have any furry pets at the moment so yours will get all the attention!

About: I have had pets in the house as long as I can remember. I love animals and adopt all of my friends animals whenever I get the opportunity. I have also volunteered at SAINT cat shelter in Cedar Rapids! I am a student at Iowa studying Psychology! Every day is a little different, but my schedule allows me to have breaks throughout the day to go home for lunch and hang out with my cat! In the evenings I like to spend time with my friends or work on my art or music. I live in a studio apartment in Iowa City. I raised and trained my parents puppy, a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix who needed lots of care to control his barking and playful nature, now 6 years old and so loving. I prefer dogs and cats have been handled and are used to being cared for, with no history of lashing out or biting. I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. I’m happy to accommodate specific feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any other instructions that help your pet feel at home.

About: I love dogs and have always had them in my home. I have previously watched and cared for my neighbor's dog and an elderly dog. I would love to be able to care for and be a pal for your animals! I am currently working part time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility but am available to care for and spend quality time with your pups! I have always had dogs in my home. Currently I have a six-year-old silver lab named Sadie Mae. Previously I have cared for and watched my neighbor's dog. I love dogs and I think that I would be a good fit for this role.
