“Grace was a perfect fit for our spoiled little girl! Her dog Archer, is a sweet and mellow boy. We rebooked Ellie with Grace when we picked her up on Sunday, for later in the week already. We felt that comfortable with her!”

“Ali took care of our 1.5 year old weimaraner for an overnight. Provided multiple walks and photo updates. Took the dog with her on errands when our dog was exhibiting stress symptoms when left behind”

“Auden did a great job caring for our small year old dog. She took him for walks and our dog loved playing with her dog. She even got our dog to go up and down the stairs on his own. Thanks for a wonderful experience.”

“This was the first time we used Rover, and I was so happy that we found Kasey and her family. It was obvious from the moment I met her and her family that they loved caring for animals. Pepper enjoyed his stay and was given such great care. Kasey was such a great communicator- I received several pictures and updates that made me realize that he was getting lots of attention and love. This really helped calmed my worries regarding him while I was away. I can't say enough great things about Kasey and her family but was so grateful for their willingness to take care of my dog like he was their own. Would definitely book with Kasey again- she was wonderful!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little including my own, family friends, and neighbors! I’ve had the most experience with dogs but am comfortable with all animals! I’m currently a college student at the University of Iowa looking for some jobs to help out! I’ve grown up with a 9 year old dachshund and have had experience with families and neighbors dogs ranging from small to large and all different types of behaviors. I have a fenced in yard with multiple roommates who also love animals and can help out when needed. For dog walking I have a flexible schedule during both summer and school year and can do a variety of tasks!
“I needed a last minute booking and she answered and arranged things immediately. My dog seemed half and well groomed and fed when I pick him up. I also got daily updates and cute/silly photos of him. She was really helpful and there when me and my pets needed someone the most. Overall I’d booked with her if you want guaranteed satisfaction, and knowing your pet will gets lots of love and cuddles while your away :)”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker! He was highly communicative when it came to how my pet was doing as well as sending pictures. Very patient and helpful, especially good with younger dogs!!!”

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs longer than I can remember, with my childhood dog being a black lab named Rosebud. I’ve dealt with dogs ranging in all shapes and sizes. With the smallest being a Pomeranian and the biggest being a Saint Bernard. I’ve worked with energetic and lazy dogs, understanding the different care needs they might have. I have the basic knowledge on grooming and bathing. I’ve also worked with litter puppies and training puppies. I also understand the care and needs senior dogs may need as well. I currently work part-time as an overnight stocker, which gives me the entire day off to work with your pups. My schedule is very flexible and open for any of your needs. I’m willing to work around my life to fit into yours. I’m located next to many dog parks if that is what your dog needs. I also love walking and am an exercise guru, I’m always ready for a long walk if that’s what your pup prefers. I live by the moto “protecting pups, one paw at a time”. I understand that these animals are family and I strive to ensure their safety and proper care.
“Kenneth and his son were terrific dog sitters, my 2 dogs were well kept, took many walks and were very happy. First time to Iowa and they were very welcoming, definitely will book them again.”

About: I lost my dog last year and miss taking care of him, now that I have free time on my hands I'm looking to help take care of other dogs like I would my own. I treat pets like family and have experience with administering medications if needed and am willing to learn of any specific needs your pet has to take care of them like you would! I'm currently free most days and stay at home since my school schedule is very light for the next few months and have flexibility in it. I currently don't have any pets so there is no concern for socializing or introducing them. In addition I live in an apartment with a large grassy area where dogs can walk on and will use a leash while doing so to make sure your pet is safe.
About: Get to know me ~ It’s lovely to meet you! I’m Skylynn! But my friends call me “Lo”. I am a clinic services specialist at UIHC, an active reader, lover of nature—and I ADORE fur-babies! 💕 Pets have been part of my world since I could walk! I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats through every stage: from puppies with the zoomies to sweet, nonchalant seniors. In that time, I have learned to tailor walks and playtime to match each pet’s energy, keep a close eye on special diets, and gently handle medications and supplements when needed. Whether they’re shy, spunky, cuddly, or curious, I tune into their emotional needs: offering play, snuggles, and calm companionship that makes them feel right at home. I even handle brushing and nail trims, when requested, to help your sweet-faced, little fur-ball feel their best! No matter who I’m caring for, I bring kindness, patience, and a whole lot of heart to every visit! Friends, family, and clients have trusted me for years because I treat every pet like family. Because to me, they are! (También hablo español :) My Availability ~ I work full time at the U; Monday-Friday. On weekdays I am available in the afternoon and overnight (with pick-up at 7AM). I am available all weekend. Safety & Environment ~ In my home, your pet becomes part of the crew. I have two very friendly, well-socialized cats (you could be a robber and they’d still flop on their backs and ask for belly rubs all the same! 😂) and a playful (yet very respectful) Shiba Inu puppy who loves making new friends, while understanding boundaries. I take introductions slow and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. My neighborhood is walkable and safe. I’m right down the street from the police station, fire station, local vet, and S.T. Morrison Park! Which means lots of fun walks, fresh air, and enrichment time! (I’m all about protective safeguards and organization, so living in close proximity to aid and community enrichment was a must for me :) 🙌 I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine: feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, cuddle preferences, crate time, you name it. I adjust to their vibe and your instruction.
“Loved the consistent updates and communication on our furbabys. Lot of photos were sent! Thank you so much and we will be coming again soon with us having to do a lot of traveling!”

“Tiffany, thank you so much for the wonderful care you gave Windsir as always!! It truly means a lot to know he is in such kind and attentive hands. Your patience, compassion, and genuine love for animals really shows, and it makes all the difference. Windsor was happy, comfortable, and clearly well looked after. I’m so grateful. Thank you again for treating him like one of your own! 🐾”

“Gillian was so sweet and loving and kept me up to date with all my pups daily activities. She responds quickly and knows a lot about puppies which was very helpful for us. Will be using her again :)”

About: I have much enthusiasm for helping people and pets out, am experienced in babysitting, and work well when under pressure and memorize instructions very quickly! Recently graduated from undergrad, I’m currently a part time student at another university (fully online, only one class) so I have virtually all the free time these days ! I give my full attention to the pets, and I have a secure home with various ways for them to enjoy spending their time either playing or simply resting.

Yiqing and her family are wonderful pet sitters for our dog, Shylo. She is always so gracious about rebooking him whenever we visit the area, which we really appreciate. It’s clear how much they all love him, Shylo absolutely loves staying with them! He gets plenty of walks, lots of interaction with the kids, and such careful, attentive care. It gives us great peace of mind knowing he’s in such a warm and loving home. We highly recommend this pet sitter, 1000%! You will not be disappointed.

I had the best experience leaving my dog in Asha's care! She went above and beyond, providing regular updates throughout the day and even sending adorable pictures so I could see how much fun my dog was having. Honestly, I think my dog was a little upset to leave—he had such a great time with Asha! I’m so grateful for the care and attention she gave him, and I will definitely be using her services again in the future. Highly recommend!
