About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs. I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. I’m happy to accommodate specific feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any other instructions that help your pet feel at home.

“Shawna and her partner, Hannah, did an amazing job watching my dogs! They drove to pick them up/drop them off and kept them at their house over a long weekend. I have a senior rescue dog who can be skeptical of new people, but he warmed right up to Shawna and Hannah. He enjoyed all the cuddles, special toys, and looking out their big windows! I also have an 8 month old puppy who made herself right at home. Shawna and Hannah were super understanding of all my pups’ quirks and made them feel so loved with walks, treats, and lots of opportunities for cuddles. I received several pictures and videos each day. Shawna and Hannah responded super quick to any messages I sent and were attentive to all of our needs! I highly recommend booking with Shawna!!”

About: I lost my dog last year and miss taking care of him, now that I have free time on my hands I'm looking to help take care of other dogs like I would my own. I treat pets like family and have experience with administering medications if needed and am willing to learn of any specific needs your pet has to take care of them like you would! I'm currently free most days and stay at home since my school schedule is very light for the next few months and have flexibility in it. I currently don't have any pets so there is no concern for socializing or introducing them. In addition I live in an apartment with a large grassy area where dogs can walk on and will use a leash while doing so to make sure your pet is safe.

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs longer than I can remember, with my childhood dog being a black lab named Rosebud. I’ve dealt with dogs ranging in all shapes and sizes. With the smallest being a Pomeranian and the biggest being a Saint Bernard. I’ve worked with energetic and lazy dogs, understanding the different care needs they might have. I have the basic knowledge on grooming and bathing. I’ve also worked with litter puppies and training puppies. I also understand the care and needs senior dogs may need as well. I currently work part-time as an overnight stocker, which gives me the entire day off to work with your pups. My schedule is very flexible and open for any of your needs. I’m willing to work around my life to fit into yours. I’m located next to many dog parks if that is what your dog needs. I also love walking and am an exercise guru, I’m always ready for a long walk if that’s what your pup prefers. I live by the moto “protecting pups, one paw at a time”. I understand that these animals are family and I strive to ensure their safety and proper care.

I recognize signs of discomfort, stress, and changes in energy, and I adjust to match the dog's personality. In addition to my own dogs, I occasionally watch small and large dogs, as well as cats, giving me more experience in how to care for them. I'm committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. As a student, I manage my time carefully to ensure pets get play time, walks, feedings, and companionship. I also have enough time between classes to check in and take them outside throughout the day. I take safety and trust seriously by following care instructions carefully and maintaining a good environment. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for so owners can feel at ease.

About: We love dogs and your little one will receive lots of love and one on one attention as we welcome him or her into our home. Our little Ronnie loves to play with dogs his own size or smaller. We don't have a fenced in yard, which means we will always be playing with and alongside your dog keeping him or her safe and happy and comfortable. We love to walk your dog also so he or she will get plenty of potty breaks and time to smell and get to know our neighborhood! We only care for one dog at a time, besides our own little guy Ronnie... so the two will become best friends! Faye is a full-time stay at home dog mom and my husband Rob helps take over dog care responsibilities after and before he goes to work. We make it a team effort so your dog will always have his or her needs met and get maximum love and attention. Safety comes first with your pet. We have a home that is safe and perfect for your little dog. We will welcome them into our family and treat them gently and with compassion... realizing that it's tough being away from your owners for a few days. We will love your puppy as much as we love our own Ronnie!
