I will follow instructions as best I can. I’m currently trying to find a part time job, so for the time being I can do anytime, and I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I have an invisible fence for my dog so she can roam free, I also use a leash when I take her for walks outside of my yard. But I can do whatever your pet needs.

“Carly did a great job with walking our dog! She was really communicative and left our house exactly how it was before. Would definitely trust her again to come back and care for our dog!”

About: I am an experienced caregiver with strong attention to safety, and I grew up caring for my neighbors’ and friends’ dogs. I love walking calm, more relaxed dogs, but I also enjoy caring for energetic, enthusiastic dogs as well. I started walking neighbors’ dogs at a younger age and have always enjoyed being able to provide safe, fun walks while building trust and strong bonds with every dog. My dream dog is a Miniature Dachshund, and I plan to get one once I'm out of school and have the time to care for one full-time. In the meantime, I'd love to use my extra free time to care for your dog and treat them like they're my own! I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for your pets. I love going on daily walks and would enjoy having your dog as my companion, and I’m even open to short runs for high-energy dogs that need to get some extra energy out! I’m available for walks and drop-ins most weekdays and can also be available on weekends. During walks and drop-ins, I make sure your dog gets bathroom breaks, exercise, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I focus on keeping your pet comfortable by following their normal routine and respecting your home. I’m also comfortable safely crating dogs when needed. I do especially well with clear instructions and take the time to understand your dog’s specific needs, behaviors, and preferences to provide the safest, most personalized care possible.
“Brooke was awesome! She was attentive and took such good care of our boy koda. If she was delayed slightly she always communicated and made sure it was okay! We will definitely be using Brooke again!!”

About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!

“Jason is awesome! My American Bully is 110lbs and he can make some people nervous. I broke my foot and can’t walk Mako for a bit. I was a bit nervous using Rover but Jason made me a believer. Jason loves all dogs, you can really tell. I’ll be using him often”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a freshman in high school. I have 5 of my own dogs which is a lot of work but has helped grow my experience. I make sure your dog is safe and happy while also following the list of instructions given by you. If you need me to stay over I can maintain a clean environment

Currently I have a six-year-old silver lab named Sadie Mae. Previously I have cared for and watched my neighbor's dog. I love dogs and I think that I would be a good fit for this role.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was five. I grew up on a farm and understand the anxiety that a pet owner has when going on vacation and finding someone to love their pet as they love them. Well, have no fear! I am here to save the day! It is currently Summer time and so I have a lot of availability to be with your pet. I can stay the night at your home if necessary and can guarantee that your animal will not be a line. They will be lover, fed and cared for! I will travel to your home to ensure that your pet is in a familiar space. I will give them daily snuggles, walks and attention. I will treat your pet as if they were my own loving on them and treating them. I am happy to take them on daily walks, to the park and to stay the night at your place.

I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes & would love to spend time with your best friend! I’m also experienced with administering medications to both cats and dogs, including shots, and am comfortable with complex routines. I know that being away from their best friends can be stressful for pets, and I believe keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps them feel safe and comfortable. Whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, playtime, walks, medication, or giving them space when they need it, you can trust that I will take care of your pet as if they were my own! Not only is it my goal to make sure your pets feel cared for and loved while you're away, I also want you to have peace of mind knowing that your pets are safe and cared for! I’m available for morning and evening visits on weekdays, and I have open availability on weekends for visits. I’m also available for house sitting any day of the week, including weekends. When I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both their pets and their home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I understand that trust is a big part of inviting someone into your home, so I'll keep your space clean and tidy, lock doors and windows, and make sure your pets are safe and comfortable at all times. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have been blessed to grow up around all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to horses. I’ve always loved giving pets the care that they deserve while their parents are away! I am currently on summer break from college and would love to fill my time by taking care of some amazing pups! I have some obligations one weekend a month, but other than that, I am pretty free! I live in a quiet, pet friendly community. Lots of green space and places to walk! Lots of room for activities inside, and a nice big couch for some tired pups! I don’t have any pets that currently live with me, yours will have my undivided attention!
About: I am a medical student. I have put all of my efforts towards caring for others and their loved ones. My pet care experience first started when my family got a red-fox laboratory puppy seven years ago. It was a dream come true, something my sister and I had waited for many years. While Bhima, our puppy, was just a bundle of fun, he came with a load of responsibilities. From grooming to bathing to brushing to walking, a lot of the responsibility relied heavily on my sister and I. I hope to care for my rover pets with the same attention to detail, love, and affection, as I have been caring for Bhima over the last four years. I am very active, flexible, and outgoing. I’d love to hear from you and get to know you and your pet! I am available for dog walks during the evenings and weekends! I am flexible based on the needs of the pet, but will need to work around my class schedule! Your pet would be accompanied by my own in my home. I make sure that the environment the pet stays in is safe and comfortable for the pet, and am willing to accommodate any changes that will make the pet more comfortable. I also have a yard that the pet can play in in addition to any walks that I will take the pet on.

We couldn't have asked for a better dog walker! Raquel were reliable, communicative, and clearly cared for our dogs as if they were their own. Every walk came with thoughtful updates and photos, and our dogs were happy and relaxed. It's such a relief knowing our dogs are in such caring and trustworthy hands. We highly recommend Raquel to anyone looking for an exceptional dog walker

Maggie's walk with Sammy went great! It was the first time she has ever gone with a dog walker and she had a great timer! I am unable to walk her right now other than at a very slow pace and I wanted her to have a "normal" walk. She got that and enjoyed it! She came home pooped. Mission accomplished! :-)
Payton was really great with my dog, Tonka. She immediately tuned into him when she met him at the meet & greet and she has been very attentive to him on their daily walks. I get updates with photos and videos. I can tell Tonka really enjoys getting outside and going for a mid-day walk with her. Additionally, Payton has been easy to communicate with. I appreciate her flexibility with scheduling and her desire to provide outstanding care to Tonka.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
