About: With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and even small pets like mice, rats, hamsters, and fish, I bring a lifetime of knowledge and passion to pet care. I’m a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with 7 years of veterinary experience and 1 year working in a pet resort, so I’m skilled at safely handling pets of all temperaments — from nervous pups to the spiciest of cats (I have one of my own!). I’m also experienced with administering medications and providing calm, compassionate care to ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently not working, so my schedule is completely open. I have plenty of time to provide your pets with all the attention, care, and love they need. With my veterinary technician background, safety and trust are always my top priorities. While in your home, I provide a calm, secure environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m skilled in reading body language, handling nervous or fractious pets, and administering medications when needed. Every pet in my care is treated like family, with plenty of patience, compassion, and attention to their unique needs.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. My parents share the same love for animals as I do, and I think I love them more honestly! I’ve dealt with losing a pet, and adding new additions to the family. In my eyes no breed of dog or cat is superior and I would love to meet all the pets I can!! I work part-time so I will put the days I am available into the schedule! On my days off I would be more than happy to take your dogs for walks or do drop in visits with dogs and cats! I also marked all days as available because my hours can be funky and I can sometimes work only 4 hour shifts. I take my dogs for walks frequently. They are a bit stubborn sometimes (especially my olde english) but after we get walking they love being outside! The summer heat gets to them both though, so I would love to get outside!

About: I lost my dog last year and miss taking care of him, now that I have free time on my hands I'm looking to help take care of other dogs like I would my own. I treat pets like family and have experience with administering medications if needed and am willing to learn of any specific needs your pet has to take care of them like you would! I'm currently free most days and stay at home since my school schedule is very light for the next few months and have flexibility in it. I currently don't have any pets so there is no concern for socializing or introducing them. In addition I live in an apartment with a large grassy area where dogs can walk on and will use a leash while doing so to make sure your pet is safe.

I am recently retired and have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I care for a black lab and a border collie on a regular basis, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs that need both physical activity and attention. Walks, playtime, and keeping them on their routine are a natural part of their care. I’ve also cared for cats, rabbits, and other small animals, so I understand that each pet has different needs—whether that’s active play, quiet companionship, or simply a calm, consistent presence. Making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy fits seamlessly into my everyday life. I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment, whether in my home or a client’s home, and I follow routines and instructions closely to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, exercise, and any special care. In my home, pets receive close supervision, structure, and plenty of attention. I stay alert to behavior and surroundings to ensure pets are safe at all times. My goal is dependable, attentive care so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.

About: I have two mini goldendoodles who are my life. I've had them for over 6 years and they bring so much joy to my life! They love to play with other dogs and I'm always spoiling them. I've watched other pups before, giving them walks, spoiling them rotten. I'm very punctual and care for every dog like they're my own! Currently don’t have a full time job so I have availability all day! If you need a full sitter, they are more than happy to come to my house and spend time with my pups. I'm free after 5PM and on the weekends! I don't have a fenced in backyard but I do have two pups who can keep your baby entertained and wear them out! I give the best cuddles and love as it kills me to leave my pups with someone else so I get it! I can facetime whenever you'd like if it's an overnight stay, whatever makes you feel comfortable! :)

About: I've personally owned animals my entire life. I've raised 3 dogs in the past and currently own qthat absolutely love other animals and people! I also have 3 cats that are all extremely friendly and love new things. I currently work at an animal shelter working with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have experience with friendly animals, reactive animals, and shy animals. I'm very skilled at giving medications as I have to do it daily for my job. My schedule is very flexible and I'm also good in medical cases with animals. I don't have a degree in veterinary sciences, but work with strange cases daily and have a close connection with vet techs. I'm excited to open my heart to new animals! I currently work part time in the mornings and can stop in before my shift to do a check in, potty breaks, and feeding. Once I'm off in the afternoon, I can do more check-ins and walks. In the afternoons, I can stick around longer to spend more time with them. I have experience with positive reinforcement and am also okay with using dog crates if the need is there. I'm experienced with different types of harnesses and collars as well and have worked with dogs with many different allergies.

About: I do not personally own any dogs but I have lived with dogs my whole life. Each dog ranged in size, one of the bigger dogs I have had was a German Shepard. I recently moved here to Iowa from Ohio. I watch 3 amazing kids a few days a week. Since I only have them for 2-3 days a week, I would be able to walk/watch your dogs and cats more frequently At the clients home I would ensure the fur baby would have food and water. I would also, depending on backyard situations, take them out in the yard to play. If there isn’t a lead or fenced in yard then I would take him or her on a walk. All animals should feel loved but also worn out after our walks and play time!

About: I've been taking care of my mom's dog when she is out of town for over 10 years. My brother recently got a puppy and I have added her to my list! Dogs are near and dear to my heart and are treated just like a child on our home! I am a stay at home mom to our 2 year old. We are generally not gone for more than a couple of hours, if at all. We live in a nice quiet town and go for walks often. We have a very shaded front yard that we are in a lot. We take walks often and live in a nice town. Our yard is not fenced in.

About: I have grown up with dogs and animals of all sizes my whole life! I currently have a family dog back at home in Illinois (cavachon, 6 years old) who I miss taking care of deeply. I am in med school here in Iowa city for the summer and have very flexible hours, weekends, and payment choices! As I mentioned earlier, I am an ultrasound student in Iowa City Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. I have certain days off through the week / available almost every weekend! I live at a graduate student / health care worker apartment complex with a dog park and lots of grass and greenery / walking trails all around the complex! Very animal friendly buildings. I also live alone and have a lot of space!

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family.

About: I have experience pet sitting as well as currently working at a Doggy Daycare/Boardinh facility! I grew up on a farm, so I am used to working with animals, and I also have pets of my own!
